    Not bad at all

I got it while on sale. Not bad at all. It exceeded my expectation and works faster than expected. I needed a secondary phone, something not very expensive and not very capable. I hesitated between this one and another motorola. I went Pixel for the camera reviews and I wasn't wrong.. Camera on this Pixel is very good. Battery life was also a concern (before purchasing) but I can't complain. It is holding fine for the whole day... Google is also doing a great job when coming to the software! The phone works very fast with the modest specs (on paper). Screen resolution is very good (can't wish for better). Also, the sound quality not bad at all. Bluetooth play fine with all my devices. Using it mostly with Google Fi network, internet is fine and voice quality not that bad (can be better honestly!). The eSIM function is really good. Looking forward to have it available with all service providers. I think this phone is just great for almost all level users. By the way, it has a jack phone plug!

    Amazing Phone!

I purchased an iphone XS a few months ago and became more and more frustrated with it and the lack of features. I decided to go back to Android and "downgraded" to the Pixel 3a. It was actually not a downgrade at all. I absolutely love this phone. It does everything you need it to and I love how it has stock Android and includes all of the newest features. The camera is incredible, the screen is bright, and it is very fast. Wish it was waterproof and had wireless charging, but I guess that is what you sacrifice when you get a phone for $399. Overall an incredible phone for an incredible price!

Best mid-range priced phone in the USA

In the states our options for mid-range phones are limited in comparison with the rest of the world. If you have a $400 budget, look no further. Initially my budget was $300 and the best option was the Moto G7. Tom's guide has an excellent breakdown that I would refer anyone to read. This helped me make my decision to go up $100 and I am happy I did. My main concerns were, performance running multiple applications, internet browsing, battery life and reception. This phone surpasses my needs and the camera is incredible. I have service where my LG Stylo 3+ did not. No noticable lag switching windows either. Battery life is impressive to say the least. I don't need a charger at work anymore, but I rarely play games or stream video. I only have 2 complaints. The phone is slippery, a case is a must have. The software for the in motion picture freezes and closes intermittently, which I'm sure will be addressed via updates.

I am so happy that I purchased the Pixel 3a. Really happy with the battery life and the camera. The Pixel 3a has an e-sim which made it really easy to set up for my carrier. Great customer service during pick-up at the Oshkosh, WI store as well.

    Excellent Phone + Camera

Upgrading from a Moto E5 Play I almost went to a Moto G7. What a mistake that would've been. I only read about the Pixel 3A the day it became available. Online reviews were over the top so I went for it and what a great choice. It's so much faster at pretty much everything including boot time and opening apps. The camera really is as good as claimed. Low-light photos are phenomenal. The only thing it lacks is Optical Zoom but you can't expect that in a $399 phone. If you need/want a new mid-range phone, look no further than this one.

I have had the Samsung Galaxy and the Iphone6+ and without a doubt I would take this phone hands down over either one of them. Samsung was my favorite until I purchased the Google Pixel 3a. It is just the right size, the pictures are awesome and the phone itself is just a great phone. For the money, hands down, this is the phone to have. I would never pay the outlandish prices the others charge when this phone is just as amazing - so much so I am getting my husband one for Father's Day. LOVE IT!!!!

Really good device. Worth the money only thing is bad is the battery life. After a couple of years the battery will start to die after 3-4 hours of use.

Best camera, best software, OLED display, reliable updates, amazing price and unlocked for any carrier - If you don't need the performance of the Snapdragon 800's .... The real question is: Why wouldn't you buy this phone?

Way better than iPhone or Galaxy

I've had an iPhone s, and every Galaxy s (except the 7) and with the 14 day no worry return, I figured I would give pixel a shot and WOW! I'm really glad I did. I could go on and on but I will just highlight my top 3 things I found that have me sold PERMANENTLY on pixel phones. 1 - with the same carrier, same service plan, and no known changes to the towers I have MUCH better reception... No idea how that can be but I noticed the day I got the phone that I didn't drop the call as always happens when I go through any of the local dead zones. I have experimented further and I can go online with good speed in places I previously (with all of my old phones over several years) could barely make a call. 2 - the call screening function is AWESOME in this day and age of robo-spam. I can just choose from answer, don't answer, or screen and the system is amazing. I did it to a few of my friends and they were astounded. 3 - everything works smoother and faster because it isn't using an operation system designed by one company, hardware from another company, and third party apps to do basic things like calling and texting... It's all Google, and man does it work smoothly, you don't know what you're suffering through with your galagy or iPhone until you see how it's all "supposed" to work. In short, I'm pretty sure all the people next to me that can't get a call out while I'm on the web, texting, and have 4 bars, are all about to switch. So, find someone who has one and test this stuff out, you'll be shocked. Also, I paid $399... My last phone which wasn't half the phone cost me $1,100. Go figure.

    Fantastic Phone!

If anyone has any doubts about purchasing this phone I hope my review will make you feel more confident. This phone is fantastic! This is my first Google phone period so I don't want anyone to think I am like a Google product fanboy. I know some might be put off by the processor dont be the 670 is FAST (here is a tip, go to settings, look for Accessibility then scroll down until you see Remove Animations and click that, it will make your phone feel even faster). Stereo speakers that sound wonderful and so clear and very loud, screen is OLED and gorgeous come on for $399 ??? Call quality is the best of any phone I have ever had ever, the clarity is unreal compared to other phones I have used, now this is based on using this on AT&T I cant speak for other networks. I tried the 3a XL but the 3a just felt so much better in the hand. The camera, oh the camera on this phone takes the most incredible pictures enough said.

This phone has lasted me 4 years now. I am only upgrading so that I can get updates and more storage. I'm giving it to my son to replace his old Motorola until I can replace his at Christmas with a pixel.

    Speakers-Warranty-Repair

I DO NOT WORK FOR BEST BUY, GOOGLE OR UBREAKIFIX. Second best phone I've ever owned after my old Nexus 5. I did have the "speaker" problem. There must have been a poor hardware run on some phones, BUT, contrary to what someone posted concerning repair-you do not need to get a new phone. I was directed to UBREAKIFIX, who does the warranty work for Google. I paid nothing and my phone was fixed in about 3 hours. I was advised anywhere from 2.5-4 hours. The camera is awesome. Extra "Google" features are great. Screen call is one of my favorites. I believe newer Motorolas also have it. You have one year warranty.

Great phone. I've had mine for over a year now and it's still going strong. It's a great value with a great camera, fast charging, an OLED display, and many other features that you would find on a phone of a much higher price point. 10/10 would recommend.

Phone stuck and restart during calls

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Of course camera is great. But more importantly calls. If you mute mic and unmute couple of times alternatively, phone is getting stuck and restarting automatically. During my group call, I used mute when I don't talk and unmute when I start to talk. It's frustrating that disconnecting from the call and restarting during the meeting. Highly frustrated and did not expect this from Google brand new phone. Registered complaint with google support and they advised me to contact authorized repair shop and I did that too. But I was told that they are not sure about the issue and wanted to TRY to replace the motherboard and give a try. What the hell?? How come motherboard would be a issue in brand-new phone. This is a manufacturer defect and happening in all pixel phone. I do not know how many of them realized. If not, please give a try and respond here. I am planning return my device to Google
