Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Pixel 3a XL's camera quality, describing it as outstanding and still good even in 2024. They also appreciate its affordable price, long battery life, and user-friendly interface. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the limited storage capacity, lack of wireless charging, and choppy speaker audio at high volumes.

All that I like about the Pixel experience (picture quality/ smooth OS) at a more affordable price. I also think that it is worth noting that Google support and service are both far better than Plus one Huwie and other companies mid tier phones. All in all it is a tough deal to beat.

I got this during a sale that also included a $100 best but e gift card so it was well worth the price when factoring in that little extra that I was able to use to purchase something else I'd been eyeing. For the price it's an amazing phone, and it uses the exact same camera as the non-budget-friendly version.

Bought this for my wife who still had a "flip" phone. She is pleased with it and especially likes being able to send and receive pictures. Being a Google phone who also created and supports the operating system is a plus. No third parties to go through for updates. Its a great phone for a more reasonable price.

This phone feels great in hand and does a great job as a phone and internet device and it takes really great pictures. (It is very slippery though so you might want to get a case for it.) With the older processor it is not great for resource intensive games. I highly recommend this phone to anyone except cellphone gamers.

    The Android phone to beat!

One of the best mid-range android phones, period. Very smooth, fast updates, tremendous battery life and excellent camera quality. Except for the mid-range processor (understandable for the price), what more can you ask for? It also has a headphone jack and stereo speakers (with the one at the top acting as a speaker).  So, what is the problem here? The answer is Google's QA. You can end up with a top notch OLED panel, or get one which is a grainy mess. I understand that they had to cut back on panel quality due to the price, but I've never seen a device with much variation before. After you buy it, enable the dark mode in Android 10, disable auto brightness and drop it all the way down, pull down the status bar or go to the setting screen, sit in a pitch black room and observe the gray background. If the backlighting is even, you won the display lottery. If not, you'll see what I was saying above. Besides this minor gripe, everything else is top notch and I'd highly recommend it!

Grandma stole my phone and began to snoop through it. To her surprise and mind she's able to use the phone like a Jitterbug! The camera is great, the software it's mediocre but luckily it's an Android so you don't need to worry about changing that up *cough* IOS *cough*. Can't wait for the sequel in 2020!

Love it; fantastic camera, large screen! However, the antenna is poor, tap to wake is inconsistent, and the speakers aren't very good. The volume with stay relatively the same until at 90% where it is BLARING! Good if you can get it for 3 hundred, but if not, then I'd suggest the Moto G7 instead.

The good....phone is much better than my Pixel 2 XL but wouldn't take much for that. The plastic build is fine, especially given the cost savings. The battery is good; nothing outstanding, but again, better than the 2 XL which is abysmal. Good camera. Everything is OK on this phone but not at all worth the price.

My eldest child has this phone, and absolutely loves it! My two younger children have put this phone on their Christmas list this year as a result. I'm more excited than they are for Christmas. It does everything you need a smartphone for, the camera takes excellent pictures.

For a new pick of my cell phone, I chose Google Pixel 3a XL over other brand name for reasons. Overall, this device is easy to use with crystal clear picture functions. Absolutely love it and will recommend it to my friends!

This phone is powerful! It really does what I need it to do and beyond. I am very well pleased even though I was sceptical since I am a long time samsung user. But I took the leap based on the price and the reviews. I must say I am very pleased. Go Pixel!

We needed a replacement phone for my son. We shopped around, and decided on mid-level price. This phone has been great for our child. He has been very pleased with the battery life, ease of use, and overall build quality.

This phone is an excellent phone for the price. It's unlocked and works on any of the big 4 carriers in the US. It's updated directly from Google monthly so if security is your concern, this is a great phone for you. Love the clean look of stock android.

The Pixel 3 a XL is different from Apple I phone. The finger print sign is is on the back of the phone which to some time to get use to. Texting has been difficult for me. The battery life on this phone is much longer and google comes with the phone which is a plus. This phone cost less than the Apple I phone and the quality of the speaker is much better.
