I have always been an Android user and dabbled in the Nexus pure play Android experience phones having had several. I strayed away and to a major branded premium phone for my last 2 handsets, and couldn't wait to get back. The Pixel 3a is a great performing phone with great battery life and fantastic camera. The camera is worth it alone. I use a case, so never see the plastic back. Pro tip: get a custom launcher to really customize your home screen, short cuts, and gestures and you won't miss the over priced premium phones.

Android is updated sooner, from the source rather than through the vendor (e.g., Samsung) or the carrier (e.g., Verizon), either of whom adds a ton of Bloatware to your phone experience. Recently, I notice that Google are also adding unremovable bloatware in some kind of attempt to be more "user friendly." Honestly, smart phones have been around for over a decade, and we do NOT need software that cannot be removed whose sole purpose is to "help with your phone experience."

Relatively large OLED screen, no notch and the best camera in a smartphone, all for half of what everybody else charges. Buy this phone!

The Google Pixel 3a XL takes superb pictures, it is easy to navigate and link seamlessly to my wifi for clear calls.

I didn't buy the phone. It was a hand me down from my dad. He liked it. I have had problems being on public WiFi. Every time you put the phone in sleep mode it disconnects from the WiFi. It also freezes up a lot, and crashes. I have to restart my phone a lot. I do enjoy the full android and not a skin over android. The camera is amazing though. I've never seen photos taken on a phone look this good. It almost looks as good as the pictures taken on the 12 pro.

The best camera in the mid-range phone sometimes pass the premium one's and you getting the vanilla Android OS with the latest update

I really appreciate and love my new pixel 3a XL... it's an awesome phone with easy access to all apps and has amazing camera especially at night. I didn't regret having this great phone

Compared to all the other top of the line phones that are more expensive, you really can't go wrong with this.

This phone is a great phone for those on a budget. The camera is fantastic and the battery life is amazing.
