My mother, who has early onset dementia, still wants to have a phone and a way to keep in touch. She has poor eyesight, so the screen needs to be big enough for her to see. She always wants to be able to play solitaire, or whatever other games she may find. This phone is working out perfectly. No issues getting it applied to the existing AT&T plan, and no extra garbage. Good phone. Decent price.

The Pixel 3a XL gives us a great phone for our needs. We are not gamers, but so need information from the phone. It was super simple to connect to Google Maps and get good directions and traffic warnings in Los Angeles. We used several apps on vacation and had no trouble with them. Our email came through, and the phone warned us of SPAM calls. The things we value most are all there in this phone.

Granted, she was upgrading from an old iPhone 7, but this phone has exceeded her expectations. She loves the larger screen, the enhanced performance, and the exceptional camera. A long-time iOS user, she's still getting used to the Android operating system, but she has no regrets whatsoever. I suspect she'll be keeping her Google Pixel 3a for a very long time!
