speaker not working exactly after the 15th day and now i can not return the device. Not sure what to do with this device. Very disappointed.

I've had this phone for a week and I'm already experiencing audio issues/malfunction.

Box was full of hair and missing book and sims key. Could not log into it, kept asking for passwords I had no clue of.

Worst battery backup. Didn’t expect this from Google

After 30 days, the speaker stop working. Since the speaker is not working, it won't ring.

This is the best phone I've ever had. Feels great in hand. Fits easily in pocket. Takes amazing pictures which is a huge deal for me. The look is super clean. I would say this is the best phone on the market today.

Pixel 4 is a fantastic phone! I was very lucky to pickup the phone when it was on sale and paid about $525 all together, which is an outstanding bargain for this phone. It's a google phone so there is no bloatware from the phone maker that you are stuck with and can't uninstall. The camera is outstanding. I'll leave it at that. The only downside is that the battery life is not the greatest. But with use of apps like greenify, accubattery, or even just a task manager to stop background apps, it isn't too bad. Also, the phone charges incredibly quickly and comes with a USB c to USB c wall port ( which is faster then your normal USB c - USB A). I am nothing but satisfied with my purchase and would absolutely encourage you to buy this as your next phone if your on the fence about it!

I miss just tapping my finger on the back of my phone to open up the screen but now I must awkwardly wave my screen in front of my face, waiting an extra 5-10 seconds for it to recognize me, in good lighting, without a hat on, with my glasses, and no mask, only to have it say "idk who the heck you are!" And have to type in my password. But, I lost my pixel 2 in the snow and that was the reason I decided to "upgrade." The 4 is okay. It runs pretty smooth, it's pretty. But honestly the photos are just as weird looking (always too HD even if I turn this setting off.) The selfie camera distorts faces, and the color fix on the camera makes everything weird. Videos have weird clicking noises and there's always some weird glare and circles if there's any sort of bright lights nearby. I miss having a button for the home screen, but now I must fight with my screen to get it to realize "yes, I'm swiping up up, not scrolling, and yes, I do want to go to the previous tab... Please don't freeze on me and make me swipe 50 more times just to restart the tabs screen." I miss having a back button, but now I must try and swipe on the side of my screen, hoping it goes back instead of scroll elsewhere. Not to mention I have to constantly go "forward" or find where I was at in videos because my phone thinks I meant "back" just because I was trying to fast forward/rewind, or click something on the side of my screen. My phone blacks out when I'm trying to look at it if I am on a phone call, and the keyboard feels off compared to before. I broke my habit of using swipe text because this time around the vocabulary just refuses to work like it did before. Auto correct has somehow changed, I don't know how to explain it. At least this phone connected to my car Bluetooth unlike the last one. But man, not having the headphone jack really screwed me over multiple times when I was in New Zealand. I couldn't find my ONE set of headphones that fit in the charging jack and ended up spending weeks trying to locate a tiny little piece that would fit my special unique type C port just to be able to use regular headphones attached to that, since any Bluetooth headphones I could find would die after 4 hours of usage and that just doesn't cut it for a 10 hour flight. The 100s of folders that get created for every photo I take is super helpful? And the freezing notifications of "downloading photo" that never seem to go away on my notification tab are fun. The music detection works only sometimes and the charge is exactly what my pixel 2 was, lasts a few hours with usage. But my phone works as it's supposed to, I can get on the internet, download apps, use GPS, and text/call people so at least there's that. But man, I miss my old pixel 2 that's now frozen in the snow on a mountain...

Worst experience ever, broke in 4 months. Google support was terrible, I've spend more than 50h in support trying to figure out how to fix it with no chances. I've let it die and decided to never again buy a google product

Love the camera, and it's the purest version of Android. So many great features.

This phone's camera has one of the best zoom lens I have ever tried.

I've had a lot of phones in the past, and for years now I've been sticking with the Nexus/Pixel line of phones - and I've basically owned all the nexus/pixel phones at some point. I don't really have need for super awesome 4k video, nor am I photographer, or someone who uses the phone for hours on end, plays video games on it, or watches movies - i have other devices for that. I had to get this phone when my pixel 3a died, and it was the only acceptable replacement (this happened during the peak of COVID19). I have never regretted a phone purchase this much. The battery life is just aweful, and while the wireless charging is nice, I basically end everyday at 5% battery, something that has NEVER happened to me before (and note, that given covid19, and staying at home, I use my phone a lot less than I normally would). Within 60 days, the back panel just FELL OFF, like the glue holding the back panel in place came off. And worst of all, the face unlock thing is the gimmickiest gimmick ever. They didn't put in Fingerprint stating how good face unlock is but: the phone has to be held at arms length, or near there, for the faceunlock to work at all - which is entirely too far and unnatural a holding distance during normal usage, faceunlock obviously doesn't work in situations where you'd want to quickly unlock the phone like when you're in bed and just want to quickly check and email or something. And worst of all, because of the way the phone is designed around face unlock it needs to be able to wake up when it thinks you have raised the phone so it can look for your face - which means it wakes itself many times a day unnecessarily (which, IMO, is what contributes to the bad battery life). tl;dr: DO NOT buy this phone. Go for a pixel3a, or 4a...or even wait and see how 5 turns out...if you're very keen on pixel. As much as I LOVE the inclusion of Wireless charging, it's no worth it.

I bought my Google Pixel from Best Buy in August - within the first week I noticed the Bluetooth kept disconnecting and would cut in and out. I worked with google over several weeks, resetting my phone multiple times, before they finally agreed to replace the phone under warranty. They do not offer anything to ensure you are not going phoneless for the up to 10 days it takes for them to receive the old phone and send a new one. They won't allow you to purchase and get a refund when the replacement arrives like many other manufacturers. So if this happens to you - you'll be severely inconvenienced. When I finally received the replacement, it took less than a month for the back camera to completely stop functioning. There is nothing to view in the camera - just a black screen. So two different instances of this phone broke within less than four weeks. Do not trust this manufacturer to provide a product that will work.

Bought phone in Dec 2019. Current date is 2/20/20 and the ringer and speaker phone stopped working. Phone has a year "warranty" but only a 14 -day replacement period unless a customer buys an additional warranty on top of the manufacturer warranty so we have to send the phone to Google's repair facility called ubreakifix, seriously, and give them 2 weeks to fix it. That's it for Google phones for me. You can search online and you will find chats that indicate many people are having this same stupid problem.

Avoid Google products at all costs. First, questionable design decisions abound with removal of fingerprint scanner and adding gesture control that is unreliable, and isn't especially helpful on rare occasions it does work. After a year of ownership, frequently begins losing SMS connection, so no calls or text messages, but absolutely does not notify you of this. So 3 days later, you'll be wondering why you aren't getting a texted code for 2-factor authentication for something, restart your phone, and discover you have missed 3 days worth of texts and calls. It doesn't even play nicely with Google's own software like Android Auto and Google Assistant. It's a disgrace.

A persistent problem that I and a number of other users are experiencing is that the Pixel 4 phone has stopped ringing or alarming. Spent 2 hours yesterday with Google support including a factory reset. All the usual problem points were checked. Still no fix.

I solely bought this phone because the Best buy guy recommended it to me do not fall for that trap. This phone is overpriced and has so many software issues. The GPS can't keep up or calculate exactly where I am ever It will bounce me around all over the place and it's really frustrating when I live in a bigger city. There's so many software issues like my voice commands can't be reached and I have to reset my phone. I won't be able to even start a simple timer or anything like that. The talk to text is garbage it can't find my TV to cast but everybody else can. Do not waste your money on this phone My phone that is 3 years older has better GPS and it had better features.

i have only had this phone for 3 years and it died, of course the warranty is no longer in effct either- so dont buy this as it wont last long after the warranty is gone.

Great phone - until it stops working. I've loved my Pixel, but the hardware is not reliable. Every friend I've had with a Pixel has had hardware issues before the two year mark.
