I got this phone for my mom since she doesn't care much about technology. However, it's been a buggy journey that has made her want her old iPhone back. Overall for the price I'd say is a good phone but don't expect too much from the hardware. Big plus is the camera software and very quick updates since it has stock Android. The big negative comes with Google itself not wanting to warrant devices not purchased directly from Google Store. The phone at one point was borderline unusable and google refused to even try and repair it. Eventually with YouTube tutorials I was able to bring the phone to a usable and stable experience.

TOO small -I returned the phone because it is too small. It is a wonderful phone for the price but I just didn't care for the size. Go to the 4a XL or @XL -I upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy 20 FE for $100 more

Decent phone kind of small. Surprised at the battery life. If I use it heavily it doesn't make it through the day. Had to replace the phone screen after 5 months, and the replacement screen costed almost 2/3 of the actual price.

    Complex little machine

It's a bit large for arthritic hands. Also, because I'm used to Samsung it's hard to learn to use it. It's notification system seems complex to set the way I want it. Alarm needs to be louder than it allows. The sound for a podcast is great.

This phone just feels cheap. Very plastic and small. I had higher expectations for it since it generally gets rave reviews. Maybe I will like it more when I start to use it more. My Moto phone actually seems like higher quality and better value

Not a bad phone at all. Just not great, I've had phones half the price double the size. But I received the wrong color barf blue or something and of course that's all that was left after trying to swap it

I like it. There are a few glitches here and there. I think I liked the Pixel 2XL better. It ran a little smoother. The letters on the keyboard, the screen and phone itself is a tad smaller. I hope this just takes some getting used to.

I loathe this device with a passion I didn't know was possible for an inanimate object. It embodies the very worst of Google's arrogance. It's stuffed with Google apps, some of them useful, most of them just sucking up space. There's very little flexibility to customize the device as it you'd like. Google forces five apps into the app tray (regardless of your preferences), will not allow deletion or 'hiding' of their pre-installed junk apps, and sorts all apps alphabetically. It's a challenge to assign your own music to any of the sound notifications (of course there's the upsell to re-purchase them on YT Music). The volume and haptic touch are clunky--barely audible or ridiculously loud. It's also weighty for a fairly small phone and while not a functional issue, WHY box a white cord with a "Just Black" phone?! Clearly Google wants to own the tracks, the train, and what's inside the boxcars but this device is a painful example a monopoly gone wrong.

Disappointing. Purchased for my wife who does not like tech. Sound settings change without permission, apps don't exchange data, average battery life, just not what we were looking for.

Nice pictures, Good charge. Did not download pictures properly at first. It definitely works better than the new one it replaces. We hope it lasts for years. Nice size that fits in a back pocket.

The Pixel 4a is a great camera phone. But I used a Samsung S4 for the previous 6 years before this phone. I prefer the ease of navigation of the Samsung phone compared to the 4a but that might be that I have not adjusted to the screen and app layout. I like the S4 kept a time log next to each individual call, message or the date when a photo was taken. I also like the ability to delete or save parts of text messages rather than deleting the whole conversation. Overall I am disappointed in the Goggle setup. Replaced the S4 digitizer and LCD screen myself for under $30 bucks. If I cannot adjust I will return to my S4.

Less of a year the multi touch stopped working other than it’s a decent phone but Best Buy/Geek Squad didn’t do anything to have it fixed. If you want the phone go with another company to buy it from.

Pixel has always been a good phone. But the 4a seems to be a little glitchy. I can be looking at a page and the screen will go black or it closes and takes me back to previous pages.

Moving from the 3a to 4a was a disappointment. Specially the camera. Much worse than the 3a. The new interface seems buggy and twitchy. I say skip this one and get something else.
