It drops some of the advanced features like wireless charging, SD card (it's a Google phone so no SD card anyways), and top of the line camera, but for the price you still get a lot of nice features. Not a metal case, so it's lightweight for the size. Fits in your hand nicely. The screen is vibrant and looks fantastic. There are no physical buttons on the front of the device, just power and volume on the side. All functions are done by swiping from different directions on the screen. Easy to get used to and do. It even has a 3.5mm jack for wired headphones. This phone has one of the easiest transfers to a new phone I’ve ever had. Backup the old phone to Google and then with the provided cable, and adapter if needed, connect to your old phone and it will transfer over everything. I put in my SIM card from my old phone and T-Mobile picked up the phone right away. I was using the network and Wi-Fi in a minute. It does have Wi-Fi calling, so no issues getting calls in the basement. You get 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage. Google expects you to use their platform if you need more storage, but 128GB is enough to store a lot of apps and pictures or videos. After that you’ll have to offload files somewhere else. The finger print reader worked with no issues. Other programs and games ran fine on the phone. It has the new Google Assistant if you want to use it for voice activation features. The camera and Night Sight work well. The Night Sight allows pictures in very low light situations. It can really make a picture happen without a flash and it usually looks good. You do have to hold the phone still for several seconds when using Night Sight for pictures. Compared to just a picture in the dark it greatly expands when you can take pictures. Shots of the night sky come out great, they can look better than just looking up at times. The camera itself is 12MP and take good pictures as well as movies. Phone calls sounded clear whether on cellular or Wi-Fi. Voice recording is clear. All of the other functions you’d expect any smart phone to do are present. The Google case for the phone is pretty simple and covers the back of the phone. It’s fabric and machine washable. It has a nice texture to it making it easy to grip. It’s a great mid-level phone with all of the features you’d want at a decent price. It does everything well enough. Some frills, but not all, and everything you need to a smart phone to do.

Pretty decent phone, but the camera produced pictures that were fuzzy and below standard. This is why I returned it.

Great phone so far. Only reason for 2 stars is the awful experience I had picking it up at West Lebanon, NH store. I have tried reaching out to the store and corporate about an employee that clocked out while helping me and left because he wasn't allowed to work OT. 3 year old kids would be better at running this store because the people that work there have 0 brain cells.

I'm loving the phone so far...up until today. I have a crack in the screen that wasn't there this morning and the phone hasn't been hit on anything and hasn't been dropped. I've had cell phones since the original motorola flip phone and this it the first time I've had a screen crack. If it wasn't for this issue it'd be 5 stars for features and values.

This phone has a cloth wrapped case option, which has a very good feel and fit. It does leave the chin of the phone exposed, and I am skeptical about the long term life of the cloth, I did treat it with stain guard. The phone itself is small in comparison to current. About in line with the 2020 iPh SE, and the Samsung S10e, but a lot cheaper than the latter. You do not get wireless charging, or the ability to upgrade the memory from the on board 128gb with the Google phone.. It fits really good in the hand and feels solid yet very light. The fingerprint reader is on the back and very responsive. The phone could be called 'cute' except it could pass for the Samsung S10e, or the iPh SE, but for the camera square on the back. Setting up the phone was quick and easy with the supplied adapter, I wish it did a full copy including the Home screen set up. The screen is very responsive and sharp. Maybe not to Samsung standards, but never the less very good. The front camera notch is to the left side and nicely executed, Battery life seems very good so far, and charge time is average. I really like the phone, although the lack of memory upgrade and the lack of wireless charging is missed. The price is decent which helps. I find there is a place for a good small phone, and this fits the bill. The more time I spend with the phone, the more I like it.
