This phone is a GREAT buy for the price. Some of the reviews available online do not do this phone justice. Definitely underpriced. Upgraded from Pixel 3 and couldn't be happier!

So far the Pixel is doing great. It took a little to learn the workings but now it does what I need and does it very well. The pictures are great and easy to work with.

Best value in cell phones. The camera is amazing! Processor occasionally lags but nothing major or deal breaking. Pure Android is the only way to go! Amazing battery life.

I didn't want to get away from Samsung but the new phones being $1200+ is just insane to me. This phone has an amazing battery life that lasts all day and a great camera too.

Absolutely the best phone purchase I've made since leaving major carriers. Unlocked or not, the phones operate similarly, and are a great value. The camera alone is worth the price difference for the other phone I upgraded from, as the software optimization makes up for less hardware. Barebones Android software is bloat-free and runs smooth. The only cons I have are that accessories are harder to find compared to flagship phones, and finding a compatible charger that allows "Quick Charge" other than the one that comes in the box has been difficult. Seems to need USB-PD 18w, not qualcomm qc, which most of my other phones needed.

My old phone (Nokia 6.1) got stuck in a reboot loop that persisted even after a factory reset, so it was almost certainly a HW problem. As a result, I needed a new phone quickly. I'm a big fan of pure android, and always get a mid range phone. So I decided to try a Pixel phone. So far I'm happy with my choice. It's responsive and of course, being from google, it has pure android. The screen is a bit smaller than my old phone, which makes it easier to reach the entire screen, but a bit harder on my eyes. I don't use the camera much, but enough to see improvements from my old phone.

My Pixel 3 XL's sound was no longer working correctly. I may upgrade to the Pixel 5 but needed something now while I wait. Instead of spending 1200 on a phone I didn't really want (Samsung) I decided to take a chance on the 4a to tide me over until the Pixel 5. I am glad that I did! This phone's specs aren't as powerful as the 3 XL but in practice I see no difference. The only drawback for me is the smaller screen size, but otherwise I would highly recommend this phone based on my experience so far. In today's 1k plus phones the 4a is a real gem. Who knows....I may not opt to upgrade and just reap the savings while using this little guy.

Great Value phone. Snappy performance and excellent photo quality. Mediocre battery life and screen size is smaller than I would like. Will have to look at the Pixel 4a 5g when it releases.

My pixel 3 died on me and I needed a quick phone without going through a warranty or getting a used one. Didn't want to extend my contract either. Anyways, I feel like I stole something.. at this price point , the 4a is amazing ! The first month I was trying to find stuff I hated because I just wanted the pixel 5.. but I just can't hate. I am a little nervous about no waterproofing and I suppose I feel left out of no 5g. But at 350, it's cool. I think wireless charging in general is too slow for my liking anyways so I don't miss that. Love this phone! Feels great not having to worry about dropping a 1k device too !

Way less than iphone which I replaced and didn't have enough to purchase another so I gave google a shot. I like the phone so far w/ exception to 2 things occasional screen distortions on videos especially in instagram and I can't access my itunes account. There is a work around to transfer movies and music to the phone but my macbook died today so I can't. Other than that it's very good. I've got a lot of titles that didn't show up in movies anywhere but I don't use the phone except to cast on vacation, I do listen often to music so it's a little issue but at this price if it last 2 years like my iphones in the past then I might just stay w/ them
