I went from a 3XL to this and don't regret it. I have had no issues with performance compared to the 3XL. The only thing I wish it had is wireless charging.

Good balance of price vs. features vs. battery life. Switching from a Samsung phone was a bit of an adjustment...different set of default apps. But overall happy with this.

Always go with the cheapest phone model you can afford since the phone manufactures are constantly coming out with new models and the batteries only last about 3 years.

When I first got this I loved it and then about a month later there was an update that made the screen super sensitive. I was not happy. Fortunately a couple weeks later a new update solved the problem. I was sick of smart phones getting bigger and bigger. The smaller ones that had good reviews were too pricey for me. This was perfect. It's smaller than my previous Samsung, yet the screen is actually larger! I really enjoy the fingerprint sensor. I also like the Google pre-screen that blocks spam callers. The battery life doesn't last as long as I'd like, but it's still great.

Excellent phone. Great price and perfect size. My only issue was with Bestbuy. We ordered this for in-store pickup and they had placed a permanent sticker right on the boxes, which had no plastic wrap. Why? I understand the need for the stickers - they list the order and pickup info on them. But why not place the items ordered into a bag and put the stickers on the bag? It’s fine for things like Blu-rays and items that are wrapped in clear plastic but for collectibles and things that aren’t wrapped, permanent stickers should be placed directly on the items.

After 4 years my original Pixel phone stopped working. Being Verizon customers we went to the Verizon store. They were not only out of the Pixel phones, we were told they would no longer order them because of a chip shortage. Best Buy was not only able to order a new pixel 4a, it arrived in 2 days!!! I have never purchased an unlocked phone before and wasn't sure what to expect. It behaves just like a Verizon phone and I'm extremely happy with the phone so far. One reason I love the Pixel phones is for the excellent camera.

First off, I bought it for my grandma for Christmas since it was so easy to use, yet high quality and affordable. Absolute beauty of a phone for the price! Awesome camera, this deserves its own review. Very snappy response time from the phone in general, it had me rethinking my iPhone 12 Pro purchase! Backs up easily with Google applications so the internal space isn’t an issue. And switching over from an old phone was a breeze as they literally include an adapter cord IN THE BOX to transfer data. It was an even better purchase than I was hoping for.

Best bang for your buck...better than the 5G version because of size (smaller), has phone jack!!! And the camera, at this price point, can't be beat

After 12 years of apple phones I wanted something different. I wanted something that would take awesome photos first, and smartphone second. The 4a is the perfect phone for me. The nightsight feature is great, especially for astrophotography. The RAW photos are great, and you can either edit within the photos app, or 3rd party app such as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom. And the battery life is great. For $349, there is definitely no reason to spend over $1000 for an iphone, IMO.

Best value Pixel, or phone in general that you can buy. It's literally just great at everything. It may not be the best at anything, but it is the best value. Great design, great screen, great battery, great build quality, great camera - all at an excellent price. I ended up chosing this over the Pixel 5 (double the price) due to the value. You get a few more features with the 5, but none that are worth double the price in my opinion. It's easy to use, has the best Google Assistant access, and everything just works. You won't find a better value.
