I have had this phone for almost a month now and so far its running smoothly with good battery life (I use it for 9+ and it still has battery power at the end of the day), some functions I am still understanding since its a bit different from iOS but overall a great affordable phone.

Good deal. People online have said that the build is less premium. Everyone places a case and screen protector on their phones so how much does that really matter? -Pure Android experience - this is a big selling point -works awesome -good sized device, feels right - great camera

I was using iphone for very long time. Google pixel has very different set up but it took me very less time to understand the system. Loved the google assistant.

Excellent phone especially for young kinds. I had purchase it for my nephew who loves it very much. Unlocked feature gives him switched between networks because he usually used to use prepaid phone plan. Speed is sufficient for him and price is very reasonable also.

Overall great device. The price was right. Especially when getting -headphone jack -128 GB storage -6 GB of RAM -Google camera and photo experience and - stock Android with OS and security updates -decent display, excellent screen to body ratio. This fits in the hand very well while also providing a large screen real estate. I've had this phone for almost a year now and I'm very happy. The only things that would have been even better would be slightly faster CPU and water/dust resistance. One glitch or gripe specific to this product is the slow lag time when using voice to text typing and search there's often a delay that I have not experienced on other pixel phones which I am likely attributing to the budget - mid-range CPU chip set (?). I liked this so much I may soon upgrade for the Pixel 5a as that looks to be an even better overall package.

Batter lasts all day and does what I need it to do. Upgraded from Pixel 2 where the battery was kinda shot barely lasted 5 hours before needing to be charged. Don't need wireless charging or waterproof to any meters. It doesn't have the bloatware of Samsung and just works.

upgraded from pixel to pixel4. Battery life is decent, and it is easy to use and to transfer my data from my old phone. I wish it had voice activation to hang up the phone, not just to call someone as my husband is blind and can not see to slide it off.

I bought this for my son who is going into middle school and will be coming home before me after after school. So far, no complaints as it works perfectly! Just what I expect from a Pixel device: smooth, great performance, great camera, and reliable as heck.

Fast shipping, arrived on time. Phone works great, except you know the double-tap to wake thing? I don't know if it's because of the OtterBox case and Zagg screen protector I have on it but it frequently doesn't respond. So then I have to press the power button to wake the phone, which defeats the point of the gesture "feature". But if Google tests solely based on a case less, unprotected phone, then that's some narrow-minded, unrealistic testing conditions. Again though, phone is great, pictures look good. There's a built-in way to record your screen and save it as a video. Bedtime mode gives you the option to turn your screen colors to grayscale to further curb your late-night tendencies, although the color comes back if you stop charging the phone. Oh, the alarm ringtones are subpar though. Luckily my old phone (Samsung Galaxy J7 Crown) still works, so I'm using that for my morning alarms.

The Google Pixel 4A smartphone enters the market as a medium level device with a good price point. It is a decent phone, and its price is two thirds less than my current smart phone. It does lack some high end features such as facial recognition, water resistance, wireless charging, but it does have a fingerprint sensor. The fingerprint sensor comes in real handy with the COVID-19 pandemic as face recognition on phones fail to work when someone is wearing a mask. I was pleasantly surprised with its performance and it operated as advertised. It flawlessly navigated and switched between programs. There was no perceived bog-down or slow performance. The phone has some really cool features which I haven't seen before, such as Astrophotography, and Live Caption. The Pixel 4A has a feature known as Astrophotography which is awesome. You can photograph the stars due to its long exposure feature capability, but you will need to utilize a tripod to stabilize the phone during this mode. You also have a dual exposure control allowing for the user to separately control shadows and picture highlights. This feature is particularly handy allowing for the tweaking of brightness settings. Google boasts an all day battery capability. To me it comes down to what type of usage you put your device through. The heavier the application drainage, the quicker your battery discharges. I found that putting the device through normal everyday tasks left me with quite a bit of battery charge at the end of the day. Google indicates that this phone has an adaptive battery which supposedly learns from your daily phone usage making battery life more efficient. The adaptive battery learns as you use your device, and it powers down programs which you never or rarely utilize, whereby saving battery life. The phone is advertised as a 4G LTE device. Frankly I was surprised that the device was not 5G LTE capable. With the advancement of all of the 5G networks, it would have been nice if this device was 5G capable. Security is enhanced with a Titan M chip This provides for your phones security. I honestly don't know how it works, but any enhanced security features is always a welcomed edition. Google indicates they supply 3 years of the operating system and security updates, after that, its anyone's guess. Live Caption was tested during my use with this phone. I for one, have never heard of this feature. During your phone calls, you have to option to have this device capture audio from your conversation and generate captions from the speech that it hears and recognizes. It did a surprisingly good job. Google assistant is similar to the "Siri" but takes it a step forward. Depending upon the question asked, you can follow-up with an additional question that was related to the original question. It is a very useful item and I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with this feature. The phones camera was great. Colors were true to life, and having a low light capability was awesome. I did a side by side comparison of pictures with my "costly smart phone" and honestly I did not see any differences. The Pixel did a great job of image capturing. PROS Astrophotography and lowlight capabilities Good amount of storage 128 Gigabytes Good camera quality Good battery life Fingerprint sensor Live caption Google Assistant CONS Wireless technology is capped at 4G LTE No face scanner No wireless charging No water resistance Although this device lacks some high end features that I have become accustomed to, I can honestly get along without these features. The operation of the phone was generally good, and is packed with some really exciting features guaranteed to entertain. If you are looking for a decent phone that won't break the bank, look no further. The Google Pixel 4A is really fun phone to own and it should make you a happy consumer.

I was looking for a budget phone with a superior camera (tall order, I know). After watching comparison videos of camera quality between the 4a and iphone 11/samsung s20, and seeing the 4a come out on top, I knew this was the phone for me. The camera is phenomenal. Worth the buy.

Excellent phone for the money, I'll start with that. Definitely a long shot from the pixel 4xl (double the price). The glass isn't as high quality as the original gorilla glass but very much an attractive device and far superior to anything else on the market for the money.

Verizon didn't have this phone in stock and it's what I wanted after my MotoZ. It is an awesome phone for a fraction of the price. I looked online, ordered it and picked it up. I wanted to stay with an android so Best Buy came through again!!!

As a iPhone user from the past 3 phones, I thought I will not get used to this 1st Android phone. But it turns out that it’s not as hard as I think to use them. I really like the camera as well. The touch ID in the back is sensitive enough that I have no complaints.

The first one I got had the bad camera bug. I took it back to the store and they replaced it. The new 4a is a great phone and probably the best value out there. This is the phone you want and it costs $500 less than the ones you're probably looking at. Buy this one.

I think this is a really good phone. I would recommend getting a screen protector as well as a case. I dropped it on the pavement and the case I bought didn't save it. Not a bad crack and the phone still works fine. Good little phone and excellent battery life.

I got this for my mom so that she could be free from terrible contracts that locked her in. It's a cheap phone that is leagues better than her old one. Because we bought it outright, we can use any carrier that we want. We took her phonebill from 50 a month to 17 a month, I am surprised at how much I love the phone! I am tired of my giant 6 inch phone and prefer this compact size. The screen looks crisp, it is very zippy for anything that I use (I don't do trashy mobile games). I am thinking about getting the same phone for my wife or waiting for the next model. -I like that it is a google phone, it means that it will probably be easy to install custom roms in the future. -I like that it can be used with other sim cards anywhere in the world. - My only wish is that it were to have a built in finger print sensor on the screen. Logging in is not as seamless as my oneplus.
