This phone takes excellent photos and is pure android which makes it easy to use. There is no bloatware on it taking up storage. Plus receives updates as soon as they are released.

Thing quit on me after three years, got super slow, my camera glass randomly shattered. And the battery is awful.

Cheap, affordable, best bang for the buck android phone in my opinion. It was purchased for my mom who really likes it. It’s plastic but does not even feel cheap. Would recommend.

Thought I was buying google pixel 4 not 4a my fault didn’t even know there were too different ones. But despite its different specs it’s still a nice phone and works well for my mom.

Great phone for the price, it’s smaller than most newer phones but it’s super lightweight and fast WiFi. Has latest Bluetooth 5.0. Great camera. Great for pairing with my pixel buds.

I had a Google Pixel 1 and was in dire need of a new phone. The Pixel 4a was a great choice. Everything I want in a phone (with the exception of wireless charging) based on the value.

The camera is the best! Performance overall very well. Compact size but comfortable. Pure android experience and the screen have a very good brightness level on sunny days.

I have the pixel 5 and various other phones and for the price the 4a is a great phone. If they added a 90hz screen it would make it an actual competitor though

Phone is for anybody that likes taking pictures and wants a small phone. Girlfriend wanted this because she hates big phones with her small pockets and didn't want an iphone.

Phenomenal bang for the buck! If you want a phone with all the bells and whistles, it's not for you. But this phone is anything but basic! At $299 unlocked, its worth it and then some

I'm very please with the phone and its features. Although I am still climbing the learning curve, every feature of the phone works well (when I use it properly). Screen images are vivid. Apps look great. I am enjoying a lot of the bells and whistles, like Google Assistant. One disappointment so far has been the battery life, which does not seem to match the reviews that I saw. Still, I get two plus days of use on a charge. (I watch very little video.) So that works fine for me. Faced with the same choice, I would buy the phone again. I would have considered the Pixel 5, if 5G service was more widely available. Maybe in a year or two.

My previous phone was a Moto G5, and I enjoyed it, but the performance was slowing down through noticeable lag. I upgraded to the Pixel 4a after some research and am very happy with it. I upgraded to Android 11 immediately (it comes with 10), installed all my previous apps from Google backup and was up and running in no time. It is fast, responsive, and the camera is quite good. The rear mounted finger print sensor is easy to use and doesn't take up valuable screen space. Even though it has a physically smaller size, I have about 15% more screen than the Moto G5. I'm glad I made the purchase, and would recommend.

Nice size, and T-Mobile and GrapheneOS compatible. Cases and screen protectors available now but am a little concerned that may change now that the 4a5G is out.

I like this phone for the price too small and slippery for me though but as long as you don't mind a small phone you'll love this phone I almost kept it but ended up splurging for the s20 fe

Great phone. Came from a Galaxy S9+ and this feels quicker and smoother. Battery lasts a long time also. Really happy with the phone.
