Spouse’s phone replacing a google pixel 4 phone that fell into the Pacific Ocean .. This phone seems a little lighter, a bit faster and has twice the memory (64 to 128). We didn’t get the 5G version as it’s a bit more expensive. Operates fantastically, smooth and functional with no unusual tendencies or hangups. Easy to hold with a clear plastic (I suppose) case. I applied a screen protector, one of those four to a kit. Works fine easy o the touch.

Very good budget phone. ?!?! Its awesome phone. Still rocks on android 12. Camera is awesome.

Pros: Android version software updates & up to dated security patch Cons: Watching live streams on some apps screen doesn't fully stretch out becomes smaller was like WTfracking! But on other other apps screen is fully stretched out I guess that has something to do different apps . I know screen is very small watching NFL APP But still happy with my purchase for the next 3 years until end of life for software & security patch ends than on to the next pixel

Good price, and not so large, has all the features I need. Gets updates every month directly from Google.

It's nice and small, possibly best phone in the budget range. Only downside is that it's not waterproof.

I went from an LG V40 Thin Q to the Pixel 4a. You can definitely tell this is a budget phone in some of the features of the device. First, there's no audio equalizer or any special sound features, so expect to adjust the sound of the audio through an app or the equalizer of your car stereo. The GPS for Google Maps works like it did for my LG Stylo 4. I think it's missing an accelerometer or something. I also have been noticing a lot of issues with the camera when using the Instacart Shopper app where it warps the image on the screen, but then saves it in the proper ratio but with the image rotated horizontally. Also, if you like customized cases for your phone, you out of luck because most sites only offer customized phones cases for the 5G version. If there wasn't a $45 return fee I would have just didn't the extra money for the 5G version.

Excellent phone! Nice size in the hand, takes excellent pictures and is more than adequate for almost everyone.
