I upgraded to the Google Pixel 4a phone -- from a very, very old Samsung Rugby flip phone -- quite a huge step. I dealt with Dereck Majors -- and I can't give him enough praise for the help and patience he treated me with. He is an employee to be valued and appreciated. (Ease of use below is not marked excellent for me at this time -- I still have a lot to learn on my own.)

I cannot believe how clear the phone calls are!! Actually, using this as a phone is far superior to anything I have used on the past. I am still getting used to the additional technology on this phone vs my last Samsung, however, it has not been a struggle. I am definitely happy we purchased this phone!

Solid phone for the price, smaller screen, but that's more than acceptable.

I transitioned over from a 3aXL and I'm pretty happy I did. My old phone was starting to struggle with some of the new updates so I knew it was time. I didn't want to spend all the way up to the 5, and can't complain at all with the price I paid for this one. I love the pixel line overall and will probably just keep replacing with them as each phone ages out.

In the past year I have had two Google Pixel 3a phone's. I was really excited about having a Google phone because I enjoy using Google apps (drive, gmail, calendar). My last phone had many issues and I was looking for a product that would work for a few years. My boyfriend and his whole family have Google devices. After their recommendation, I purchased the 3a in May 2019. Two months later the screen wouldn't work and would freeze, so I contacted Google. They sent me to uBreakiFix to replace the screen (all covered under warranty). That didn't work. I reached out to Google a second time and they replaced my Pixel 3a with a refurbished Pixel 3a. My refurbished device lasted until the end of July 2020. Then it began having a different screen issue. The screen would become discolored (a purple tint), but I could still use the device. The purple discoloration would go away if I pushed in the center of my screen. I contacted Google again and they wouldn't help because my warranty expired (a week before). Now I am stuck with a device that will randomly turn purple. I'm now considering buying a different device NOT in the Google family because of this experience.

I'm having issues with with my right thumb due to a huge phone I have. Until the Pixel 6 comes out, this really fits the bill and does everything I really need. The battery life is the only thing I'd complain about but it's workable. I'm loving the phone so much that I'll be waiting for the dust to really settle down before moving over to the Pixel 6.
