A little quirky with the gestures, but takes excellent photos!

Excellent phone. Not really a lot to say about it. Only issue I have with it is has to do with the OS, they took the panorama windscreen functionality, it's horizontal for some reason which makes taking those beautiful panorama shots much harder to do... This wasn't the case a few updates ago. This is a common complaint online... I'd give five stars if not for that.

The Pixel4a was out of stock and when the instore rep tried to order it, the order would not go through. I returned home and was able to complete the order online. The phone arrived several days earlier than predicted (this was good), but the instore rep had many issues getting the phone set-up with Verizon, the process took over an hour and was not a pleasant experience.

Two weeks in and one camera already has had to be re-set to factory specs (wiped and start from scratch), which did not correct the camera problem. The camera didn't work properly out of the box, but it took time to get around to trying to troubleshoot etc. Now we are working through the next step of the warranty which is getting it repaired. So I got a lemon and now I get to have it "fixed". Also the Pixel screen is very fragile. I had a case on mine and it slipped out of my hand and fell a couple feet to the floor. Screen fractured. My Moto X4 hit the floor hundreds of times over the years and the screen never broke. I miss the wide-angle lens on the Moto, and I miss the gesture shortcuts to turn on the flashlight and start the camera. This phone is faster, but it it 4-5 years newer, so it should be :)

For its price, I like it a lot. A bit smaller than what I am used to but definitely much lighter. Google may not be the best hardware manufacturers, but it is nice knowing the software and the hardware is being developed by the same brand just like apple. Definitely does have room for improvements, but I expect greater products to be launched in the future.

It's a decent phone, I got it because it seemed like the description was hyping up the camera but it's not all that, you can take a picture of the stars tho! The night sight is pretty cool but not what I was expecting for a phone that's almost 400$. I also don't like paying a lot for phones so maybe it's just me but I might exchange it.

Nice camara for the price. Comfortable size. Includes charger.

Got it for my wife to replace a 4 year old camera. She loves it!
