Great phone, but needs a case...

Great phone, but needs a case as its slick and slips right off the desk, etc. from simple vibrations (walking by, tapping computer keyboard) Every time I set my Kindle on it, the Kindle would eventually fall off. Got a case, problem solved. Android 11 updated, learning curve for new features, etc.

I have only had this phone for a week but like everything about it except the fact that it does not have a notification light on the front. You have to unlock the phone with fingerprint or pin to see if you have missed a text, email or other communication. Unbelievable that Google would omit the notification light.

Good purchase cuz the 4a has many wonderful features but only 4 stars due to the fact I’ve only had this phone for a week and haven’t had the time to check out all the features and it’s capabilities. A bit more time and I’m sure it’ll rate 5 stars!

In most cases, this phone will fill the needs of the casual user. The phone feels smooth and snappy when I use casual social apps and navigation. The unsung feature to me about this phone is the size, truly one handed and so easy to pocket, a welcome change in the times of ever widening phones.

I love that it's lightweight and feature rich. I didn't notice this doesn't have an SD card slot. Coming from using Moto G phones, I see that the Pixel 4a loses charge quick while you're watching videos. Still I love this phone. Call screening, swiping sides to go back/exit, are other features that I've come to enjoy.

The phone is handy small just the right size instead of a heavy tablet on the ear . The menu is difficult without an obvious back button . So you have to swipe in the right direction to get somewhere. No SD card slot. Voices are sometimes scratchy .

Great simple phone that has a lot of the features that were removed from later and more up to date models (Headphone jack and fingerprint reader). Great call quality. If you don't play games or need the latest and greatest features a rock solid day to day phone.

For what it is I think it does the job perfectly. Good performance, size is perfect and the camera awesome!! Highly recommended if you want a daily phone for avarage use. For this price, you cannot beat it, until the next pixel A comes into play ;)

Needed to get my parents new phones after their older phones started to show their age. The Pixel 4a rises up to the challenge of technology illiterate parents gracefully. They love how great the photos come out, I love the peace of mind of first come security updates directly from Google!

This is a nice upgrade from Pixel 3a XL, a better camera, and performance. Even though the screen size is smaller, its got a much nicer feel. perfect size phone for an average size hand, nice and lightweight that's balanced perfectly

Its only been 3 weeks since I have had this phone but so far so good. Scanned quite a bit of YouTube reviews before making the purchase so I was aware of all the bells and whistles and lack there off. Also love the seamless integrations with all things google/Microsoft.

Even though I'm tech savvy, I have pretty basic needs when it comes to a phone, so I'm not inclined to spend $1k. This $350 Pixel 4a looks and feels great and has all the speed I need.

This phone was better than expected. It’s light weight, unlocked and has a great screen. It also includes stock Android. But the best feature is the fast software coverage by Google for security patches and OS upgrades. No longer have to wait months after a OS release or patch to get it.

Great compact phone with Android 11 and good battery life. Bought it for my mother and law and she is very happy. 5G is not here yet and IMHO 4G speed is more than enough for a regular user. Pixel 4A is one of the smallest phones on the market with big enough screen.

After reading many reviews, I replaced my Samsung Galaxy for a Google Pixel and have never looked back. It's a simple but powerful phone. No added software bloat. The integration with my Google accounts and services was seamless. Unlimited storage for photos--can't get better than that.
