    4.5 stars - I'm coming from the Pixel 3XL, and I have to say that this feels like an iterative upgrade. I like the increased storage, the added wide angle lens, and I'm getting used to the smaller size. Once I put a case on it it felt more secure in my hands. I'd say if you're on the 4XL and getting by with the battery life it's not worth the switch to the 5. Otherwise the Pixel 5 on its own is a solid phone that I'm quite pleased with. Especially for the modest price by todays standards.

    I actually love this phone. It simply does everything asked of it. It has more than enough memory to load a reasonable number of apps and not get the dreaded low resources warnings that I used to get almost daily as updates moved apps from an sd card back to the main memory of my old phone. Battery life has been stellar. Even if I listen to streamed music all day, through the speaker, I'm never below 40% in the evening.

    Operates as well as the Galaxy S9 I replaced. Great battery life and no bloatware are my favorite things. Google's operating system is intuitive and made it easy to switch. In an area with poor reception my friends phones got 1 bar while I was getting none, which was a bit disappointing and the only reason for 4 vs. 5 stars
