Smooth and fast with an amazing camera. I've had no problems or issues at all. My only complaint is I wish the screen were a bit bigger. I switched from the Note 20 5G and I'm amazed at how much better everything works. John at the Best Buy in Lafayette went out if his way to help me make the right choice.

I moved to pixel 5 from a galaxy s10 plus. I have to say google could have used the flagship processor than the lower tier one they used. I can notice it taking longer to do things, like opening apps, taking pictures. But the software experience is amazing! coming from samsung. Very clean and clutter free

This is a pretty good phone, but the speed of loading apps and the overall quickness of the phone is noticeably slower than the current flagships. However, if you want a pure Google experience and you aren't playing Fortnite on your phone, this will still be a good phone for you. You won't beat the camera for the price either.

Nearly perfect phone. I do wish there was a larger option, but I can't fault this phone for anything. It's fast, no needless apps or bloat preinstalled on the phone, love the call screen function to avoid those stupid car warranty calls, too. And of course, the camera is top notch.

Solid phone. Battery is very good (not great). Seems fast. Can download all the apps I need. It's a bit smaller than other phones, which I like. I will say the finger print sensor needs to be cleaned alot. Often it wont recognize my finger but will once I have wiped down and cleaned the sensor.

It's a solid phone. doesn't have too many 'killer' features, but it is a great solid android phone. They could have thrown in a few 'wow' feature, like a higher processor, so some other high end specs, but in the end it turned into a great 'mid' tier phone. If you want a phone with all of the features, check out Samsung, where their features are impressive. they won't give you the perk of the pixel experience. Samsung has come a long way since the s6 I had back in the day, and has improved the interface, but I perfer a more base android feel . The screen and battery are amazing and I've had a great experiance with it so far. Cameras are always great, but should start upgrading them to complete with Apple and Sammy. All in all I'm still pretty happy with this phone And with all phones, but one a case as they all tend to slip out of pockets( enven the smallish ones). The case has saved me a few times already. Maybe one of these days I can actually use the 5G aspect of it, as of right now,, I'm still getting pretty good 4G single and their new lower 5G high 4G hybread that they just rolled out.

Very good phone. Great camera. I have had many phones, Samsung, Apple, Pixels, etc., and this is still my favorite over Samsung as far as Androids go. I gave it four stars because I think the screen should be a little bigger and the price should be about $100 cheaper. Otherwise it's a great phone.

I had a Google Pixel 3XL but needed to upgrade due to phone damage... I love the difference in speed in navigating from app to app and the 5g network capability. The only thing I don't like is the size. It's a lot smaller then my 3XL but other than that- the phone is fantastic.

The size is right, the battery is great with Extreme Battery Saver and 3 years of android updates should be a minimum of what Google gives for a $700 phone. Unfortunately, this phone is not a good 5G alternative with plenty of other 5G phones for the same cost with better specs. More importantly, Sub-6 5G is only a little faster than 4G LTE and mmWave is only in certain cities under a mmWave antenna. So if you live in a city where mmWave has been established by a carrier then great. If you rely on T-Mobile, Google Fi, or US Cellular then you'll be waiting for mmWave (the UBER fast 5G) to be turned on at your location. Why do you think Verizon is now selling home 5G? Answer: their 5G is not available unless you live in a city where they've installed it, and big venues like stadiums... I don't knock the phone because it is good but if you NEED a new phone, not WANT a new phone then buy cheap like the Pixel 4a 5G at $150 less, the same phone with a 3.5 headphone jack. If you need a bigger phone then go Samsung since they've really stepped up their Android Update game. Again, I'm not knocking the Pixel line, I own a Pixel 4 and wanted to try the 5G line and can confirm with other reviews here and elsewhere if you do your homework you'll find that the speeds for Sub-6 (slow 5G) that goes through walls is not much faster then what you currently receive without a 5G phone. Don't let all the hype be phone company's or providers fool you. Then there's the reported gap in the screen that many people are noticing. Gap in a screen? sounds like a production issue we've all heard of with other phone companies? I would recommend this phone to a friend but only if they lived under a 5G mmWave tower or spent the majority of their day in a 5G mmWave city working and what not...

      Hi Gruuuvy,

The Pixel 5 supports 5G if your carrier supports it. 5G network support differs by carrier. Visit g.co/pixel/networkinfo to learn about which carriers support 5G on Pixel phones. Make sure to check with your carrier for more details. googlepixel

I love the size and pure Android OS. The only thing i don't like is the premium price for mid tier specs. Now that the 6 has released for cheaper than the 5 I'm a little salty, but i prefer the size of the 5, so i wouldn't "upgrade" if i could.

Upgraded my wife from a Pixel 2. She really seems to like it. The screen is nice and the phone is comfortable for her to hold. The phone is well built and runs fine for her needs, even on the mid-tier processor (765G). If you are coming from a Pixel 3 or 4, this is honestly less of an upgrade.

Great phone. Not overly expensive and pretty has all the flagship qualities that a daily user would care for. Love the Pixel Imprint because Face ID with masks on nowadays is worthless. Only two things I wish Google did better on was speakers and 4k resolution support.

Best Pixel so far. I have owned every pixel model since the first one. Regular size and xl. This is by far the best form factor so far. The camera has always been the best and now the video had stepped up and is excellent! If you know pixel devices, you know, they just work!

This is a great phone, great price, stock android works smoothly and battery life is amazing on this device if anything that was the standout feature for me. If i had a negative point, i wish that a larger version model was available for the Pixel's 5th generation.

It's a pixel, what could go wrong? I've run Graphene and Calyx as well as expected, stock runs amazing as well. I purchased this damaged box at a discount, and the phone was still in the original wrapping when I recurved it. Satisfaction here!

It's been about a month since my husband and I purchased the google pixel 5 and, as of now, we both genuinely enjoy our new phones. It does take a good minute to get use to the interface and new swipe movements but, once you do, it's easy sailing from there. The touch screen is a bit sensitive when it comes to swiping back or getting to the icon screen and having a protective screen does add to this sensitivity extremely. There are some apps it also struggles to be compatible with which we had used on our old phones but, that's not necessarily the end of the world, just inconvenient. The camera is incredible and actually fun to use, and I can run multiple heavy use apps without any issues. The battery is also relatively impressive, not the greatest, but still good for a typical 12 hour use day. While there is still quite a bit I haven't had the chance to explore on this phone, as of right now, I'm happy to have it.

Just a few days after switching from older Samsung. I enjoy how fast it is! Learning to use the camera to fullest. Close ups have been great. Miss having more than 2x telephoto. Call volume good. I like the size although a little slippery. Going to get a case.

Great phone! No frills, just good performance and get-it-first Google updates. Camera is good and the battery is good, too. Not the fastest at charging, but fast enough for me. Switched from a Samsung S9+. I'm definitely satisfied. Screen size of perfect IMO.

If you want a top tier flagship, don't stop here. BUT if you want a budget phone that can kick butt, take great pictures, and last all day? This. Google's software makes this phone feel so much more than it is. It isn't the biggest baddest phone, it fits nicely in my smallish hands and is a big upgrade over my 2yr old phone. I've gone back and forth between Samsung and Pixel devices since the first Pixel and I have to say, this is by far the happiest I've been with a new phone in a very long time. I've felt cheated out of money, disappointed after a few days with the new bells and whistles, and left wanting with battery life but not with this phone. I hope none of that changes. Plus, I have this phone on Google Fi and my normally barely there service from a big company that claims best service has been absolutely blown out of the water. I can now make phone calls from inside of my house!!
