Google has outdone themselves with this phone. I find this device to be incredibly stable. Phone quality is great. Camera works wonderfully. I don't know what else I can say.

I had no idea that this phone would be this small that and the hardware (general feel of the phone) threw me off a bit. Otherwise, everything else is working perfectly. the camera is decent for the price.

Excellent phone and a really great value. Fantastic camera, fast 5G, all with the Google stock android OS. Can't get a better phone, even if you pay much more.

Purchased for my daughter. She loved her old phone and had it for 5 years with NO interest in ever replacing it; but it died. So, we were forced to shop. I HATE, HATE, HATE shopping for cell phones and she was even less enthusiastic about it! We chose the GOOGLE Pixel 5. Guess what-she LOVES it! She’s been having all kinds of fun learning and playing with all its features. Yay was so fun when showing us products and Jace was invaluable in helping her get the new phone set up on her existing cell phone plan. Only complaint is there is only a teeny tiny selection of cases and screen protectors available in town for this phone.

Overall great phone and camera but they definitely need to update the hardware because the software can't do it all. You notice this the most in video recording, especially in low lighting scenerios. And the absence of the pixel neural core is very evident when it comes to processing and rendering images. The quality of the photos are too notch but the same can be said about most high end phone manufacturers so google better step it up now that their lead is all but gone. Other than that the phone and the experience has been worth the upgrade from my note 8. Hope this helps

If you had a pixel phone before this is a continuation of the brand. I love the fact that the phone has no bloatware and I am not forced to have carrier or brand software on the phone. Solid phone.

Pixel 5: A Good Phone Still Needing Improvement

Pixel 5 is better than Pixel 2, but trying to learn all the new finger gestures to replace the bottom-row buttons on the main screen is a little tiring. In addition it will make you sometimes pull up items you don't intend to due to inadvertent motions. It is sleeker and more 'real estate friendly' as far as packing in a lot of technology into a smaller package, but I do strongly recommend a case for it as it is also easy to drop. One other thing I'm trying to figure out is why the notifications can sometimes be delayed up to 20 minutes. I know it has something to do with battery savings and settings, but is a little difficult to figure out.

Got this during a sale, but overall, it's been a quality phone with decent enough specs compared to other same-gen phones. Might not be as worth it at full retail price, though.

The phone like many new phones wanted invade my privacy and at times wanted to advise me what to do. AS advertise the pictures were great. But smart phones now days, all seeming want to treat you as the robotic entity. If you just want a simple phone don't buy this one nor the Samsung S21. It is even worse, I am locked into a two year contact, and when it is over, I will buy a flip phone because of it's simplicity. If you are a boomer this is not the phone for you, in my opinion.

I came to the Pixel 5 from the Pixel 2, so I was already familiar with the platform. No problems, so far. It feels like a faster version of the 2. Great battery life though.

I've been a fan of Google phones since the old g1. This is not a flagship phone but an affordable 5G device with wireless charging and one of the best cameras in the industry.

Awesome phone, fast enough for everyday tasks and no bloatware to slow it down. The 90Hz refresh display, wireless charging, and water resistance are icing on the cake.

I am pleased with my Pixel 5. I upgraded from Pixel 2, so am used to phone operation. The touch screen seems a little weird at times, requires extra hard pushes in some areas of the screen. I wonder if it has something to do with fit of screen protector. Otherwise, no issues. Purchased at Best Buy who helped transfer info and set everything up to my liking. Excellent service. Was not happy that there were no applicable incentives available toward purchase price, but that is not the store's fault. Sure do miss the days of getting a new phone every couple of years for free!

Great pho and improvement over the Pixel 3 that I replaced. Still a big enough screen bit slightly smaller than the 3. I love Android 11 and the new improved camera.
