The phone felt cheap and the battery life was abysmal.

My first pixel phone and I'm very disappointed with it. From call audio cutting off to poor display performance I don't recommend this to anyone. I passed my two week return policy so kinda stuck with it now. The only good thing is the finger print reader in the back.

It is not good regarding to the price and features

This cell sucks!!! Battery does not last as promised and the phone gets very hot with use. Changes screen whenever it wants. Screen will not accept input so you are repeat pushing on the screen in frustration.

Don't now Best has had a month and reshipped twice never got the phone but patd for it a month ago I guess an interest free loan for them on my dime kid devasted at Christmas

I bought this phone just over a month ago and it has started freezing quite occasionally. The screen freezes and doesn't respond even when using light applications. Not sure, if it's the processor issue or what...

Wish I would have stuck with my old pixel. This one is terrible, screen constantly doesn't work and apps are very lagged.

Activation locked! This is so wrong and there is nothing that can be done for this. The phone is useless and really put me in a bad position. This seriously hurt Best Buy’s reputation for me!

Sadly this is the worst phone I have ever purchased from the Pixel line. I only had this phone for about 4 months and was so glad the Pixel 6 came out. I got to trade it.

I'm not impressed, it's no different than other pixels as far as features, they changed how you get to everything which is confusing if you still have other pixels and it's not really very big

Camera doesn't work, getting support from Google to get a fix is terrible and unless you're really into paying for stuff that doesn't work I would buy something else.

This phone stops working due to motherboard issue. I only have it for 23 months. Worst phone quality.

Worst phone I've ever had. Network never works. Pixel 3a was way better than this piece of trash.

This is the first time I've really been able to play around with a Google phone. I like the startup process and felt like I was asked for a lot less information compared to other phones. It was up and running fast and is super user friendly. It had a similar android feel but felt less cluttered with some of the normal bloat apps included. I appreciate the size of the phone and how it fits in my hand but the materials feel a little light to me. I like a little more solid feeling phone personally but I have a toddler who uses it and I am prone to dropping things. The screen is responsive and games and movies view nicely. I unfortunately live in a small town without 5G however the signal strength compared to my other phones just fine. The battery life was talked up quite a bit however with normal use it does seem to drain faster than I'd like. Sound quality and call quality compare to other name brand phones as well. I don't have any major complaints, this is a solid phone especially for the price.

I've had this phone for about four years and I've had nothing but amazing use out of the life of the phone, every update on time, any problems I've had with the phone (which there have been virtually zero)

This has been a great phone and it still ticking. Bought it brand new when it came out through Best buy and payments were easy. Did not have to pay interest as I had it paid off in the 24 month period. Was wonderful for building my credit score higher.

This is my 3rd Google Pixel. The first two were Pixel 3XL, that were stolen. So I bought an Iphone XR. Nothing to do with Android 11, so six months later I returned to Pixel, now Pixel 5. A bit smaller than Pixel 3XL, but plenty of options. The look and feel modern, fast, the apps and menues are more intuitive tha IOS. Face down silent mode works perfect (it didnt worked in my XR), and contacts works fine too. And yes, it is not smartphone. Its a super smart phone!!

I've been an avid flagship phone buyer for the past 20 years and consider that I know the general in's and out's of phones more than many. In other words I'm not a noob to working cell phones and am reasonably tech savy; I build computers, do some programming in Linux, etc. This Pixel 5 is simply a nightmare of a phone. Yes, it has long battery life, probably explained to the fact that it basically does nothing. It also can take great pictures when it decides to let you. Otherwise good luck expect your vacation or other pictures to be there when you go back to look for them. I search online will bring up "top 10 ways to solve photo problems on pixel," all of them complete run-arounds from what should be a given; take picture then be able to look at it. Working with other documents can be a simlar experience, sometimes they are there, sometimes they aren't. My experience with Gmail has been the final straw, need to communicate important information to family members, for 2 days and trying a dozens "solutions" (readily available online from other disgruntled users) I simply cant send some small PDF files via Gmail. Nevermind that it took some 3rd party apps to dig through my phone to find those PDF's in the first place, because apps in the phone wouldn't communicate when sharing between each other. This is going in a drawer and I guess I'm out a lot of money and will just buy 3 generation old Samsung s8, which performs WAY better than this phone. Google, never again.
