Solid performer for calls 5G or not, no issues with audio, getting a little hot at times with just regular use. Priced just right for what it is...

Bought this open box and in excellent condition. The phone is quite light and smaller in comparison to my previous phone, the Samsung Galaxy S8. Being an avid Google user, I appreciate that I'm not dealing with other third-party phone apps other than Google, my network provider, and apps that I've chosen to download. I would say that I wish it had an LED notification rather than having to pick up the phone to see if I have a notification and that I could organize the apps page into folders. Other than that, it's been pretty good to me.

Got this phone on a whim as my other one was a few years old. I have been surprised by some features and let down on others. Here is my breakdown. Likes: Battery life is incredible. I have gone 2 days with wifi, location, and bluetooth running 24/7. The battery modes are a godsend. High rez screen with excellent color and speed. Screen refresh is a game changer with 90hz refresh that makes videos so smooth to watch. Loud system sounds, which is good for me, as I mostly have it in my pocket at work. Strong vibration on silent mode. Icons can be changed to your liking (themes to be more exact). Smaller size is more comfortable to carry in pocket ( mine other phone is a XL sized one) Camera is same as previous versions of Pixel, but the added lens and night time mode makes it much better for daily use. Case is slightly textured already, so holding it is easier. Metal body with rear cutout (you can't see it) for wireless charging. Reverse charging is epic, With the ability to charge my headphones in case they need it but setting them on top of phone. Google OS 11 is a wonder to behold with all the added features and tweaks for this phone to use. Dislikes: Although it is a small body phone, it is not easily useable as a single handed phone. New OS takes the home, back and running program listing off the bottom part of display and you have to use a gesture to use them. You can change this is the settings, but until you do, just be prepared for some frustration. No headphone jack ( I like them, some don't) Speaker is not at top exacly, but under the glass. Which is fine for some, but I keep trying to get nearer to the speaker when I am talking to someone. Speaker (2) not being at top and under the glass, lets everyone in the close area around you hear your calls. Text size is to vast in difference to be good. I had a hard time reading under the normal setting and used medium. It works until you go into something like messages and then it is way too big. Can't find a happy in between. Sides are too sensitive. so if you are playing a game and touch the sides, it will pause the game, or close it. Side squeeze to activate assistant is gone. Case is needed. Otherwise you might not be able to hold phone to ear without the possibility of dropping it . When screen shot is activated, it will minimize the screen and take a picture. However, it will also cut off the bottom portion where the screen capture option is. Thus not capturing the whole page or picture. I am glad I got the phone for many reasons. However I am tempted to go back to my older phone since I had all the settings the way I liked them and it was easier to hold.

Amazing phone. This phone has a 6 inch screen but feels so much more compact and comfortable to hold than my wife's iPhone 12. The Sorta Sage color is very nice and the grippy coating over the glass back makes it a pleasure to hold. Cameras are amazing as always on Google Pixel products. I love that they went back to fingerprint scanner as face unlock is terrible during these covid-19 mask days. The 5G is fast and the snapdragin 765 is wonderful and smooth like butter. Great deal at $699. Works great with my Chromebook and Pixel Stand!

Been a Samsung Galaxy user since the Fascinate and using my S7 for almost 5 years. A few hundred drops later it finally gave out and I purchased the Pixel 5 since all the Samsung phones were out of stock (low production due to COVID). So far, so good. Phone was inexpensive and has great battery life. Camera takes amazing pictures in the light but gets grainy in darker settings. Love the screen call feature so I can ignore the robo callers. Not much to say as of now and hopefully it lasts just as long as my S7.

It is Googles best phone from a design standpoint only. The battery life is great the size is great the wireless charging is pointless but works to charge the old work phone (Galaxy S7) when I left the old style usb cable at home during a long trip. The volume down button stopped working within 40 days of my ownership of the pixel 4a so I just bought this one last year. I would wait for price to go down or just buy the next version when it comes out unless you dont like how it feels in hand vs the pixel 5 of course.
