There are serious issues with the WiFi on this phone. It automatically turns off the WiFi for no reason. Factory resetting the phone didn't help either. Tons of people experiencing this problem. See issue here:

Not usable in my house where I live.
Signal level is -109dbm or lower depending on band used.
Drops phone call even with WiFi calling enabled.
I do not think I should need to buy a signal booster just to use this phone, when my Galaxy S9 worked in the house ok.
If you live in a marginally served area, do not get this phone.

Google fails to acknowledge vast signal issues

I really liked the phone itself, but had to return it because of signal issues that Google refuses to acknowledge or comment on. (Seriously, Google "pixel 6 no service" if you don't believe me) The cell service straight up disappears randomly multiple times per day, requiring a reboot to reconnect. I do believe it's a software issue, and all Google has to do is say "we're working on it and a future update will fix it." But if they won't do that, you will have to decide before your return window is up: get your money back while you can or roll the dice and hope for a better future that may never come. I got my money back.

The Google pixel six or the Google pixel six Pro I’m very disappointed in this product Google just need a lot of work that needs to be done to this product and it’s more of a software-based not hardware

I wanted a new phone that was 5G compatible but was still in the Google family. Best Buy was fantastic about helping get this setup and had a great price on the phone. Obviously, this phone is larger than my last one so it took a little getting used to. It was an easy transition with the OS since my previous Pixel was also running Android 12. But there are some unique features to the Pixel 6 within the software. This phone takes amazing photos (I cannot tell the difference between this and the 6 Pro, but I'm also not a full-on photographer). Definitely recommend the pixel line.

Love pixel smart phones, never have any issues with them. I only upgrade when the model I have doesn't get the security updates anymore (they outlast the security updates, battery life included). Went from pixel 2, got the 4a to use until this 6 came out, now have the pixel 6. I won't buy another brand of phone again, honestly. Camera is excellent.

Phone has constant software issues. Default message app freezes constantly, notification bar can be unresponsive at times as well. The fingerprint scan doesn't reliably read if you have anything on your fingers (don't plan to use hand sanitizer if you want to use your phone). The "smart lock" has me typing in my password frequently because of using the power button to turn off the phone screen manually locks it.
I will say, the camera is great on it, but there are so many things that need to be fixed on this phone. I regret my purchase, I wanted to save money because my LG phone batteries would die after 2-3 years, but I wish I had spent the money on a real phone. I've had this phone for a month and already miss the 30 minute lifespan I had on my LGV40. Spend your money on a company that understands how to make working products.

Upgraded to the Pixel 6 when they went on sale in July. Great no-bloatware pure Android experience and not a single issue. No glitches and the cellular and wireless connections have been perfect so far. The camera is amazing, but takes a little bit of a new learning curve.
Outstanding as expected.

Terrible phone

I've had this phone for a little under a year and could not be more unhappy. At first, the phone was fine, the camera quality was amazing not to mention. After my second month, the phone started to drop calls, couldn't handle it when 2 or more people were calling me randomly glitched out, and wifi and cellular would randomly cut out. Then when I get into 8 months into owning the phone, I dropped my phone and the entire inside of the screen broke, and colors were flying everywhere. After I get the phone repaired, the battery life shrinks to only like 4 hours really, with power saving mode on. If I get phone calls, now they just automatically put them into voicemail, without letting me see them. When I'm in areas with good wifi, the phone still takes about 45 seconds to "dial" it. The more recent problem was that google claimed this phone to be extremely "water resistant,". The other day at a pool, as I was coming out and went over to my phone, in a dry location, the drops from my hand made the phone, in like 20 minutes to have again, crazy internal water damage. Now, the phone was not bare, it had otterbox protection, so even getting water inside was hard, but the smallest bits of it made it totally unable. As a student, I don't have time for my phone to act up, and need it for school. To replace the screen is over 200 dollars, you might as well switch to another phone for that price and hand in the google pixel. Overall never get this phone.

I liked my iPhone 12 more then this

A few months ago I traded in my iPhone 12 that would always have connection issues. I would constantly have to turn airplane mode on and off to get wifi back. With the trade in money i bought this phone. This phone will not allow me to call anyone who has an iPhone the calls will just not go through. When i want to call my friends now i have to use snapchat which is a major inconvenience. I also cant text anyone with iphone. This phone also looses connection alot and forces me to restart it is so annoying. After all of this i am going to switch back to iphone and get the iPhone SE 3. I would get the iPhone 13 but i wasted my money on this and now just want the cheapest way back to iphone. Also the apple watch is better then any smart watch for this phone and the airpods pro suck at staying connected to this phones bluetooth. If you want to switch to this from an iphone i would suggest that you dont.

Bought this right before Christmas to replace my Pixel 2, which I loved, but was breaking down( touch screen and charging port issues, parts not available).
How do I hate this phone? Let me count the ways.
1) The fingerprint recognition is slow, twitchy, and unreliable. It uses the touch screen, rather than a dedicated sensor. The screen has to be programming for -every- angle that your finger is going to apporach by, it can't rotate the image. I end up entering the numeric code about half the time out of frustration.
2) Test input across applications has a random bug that causes the text that you just sent for a text or a FB message to be repeated in the input window.
3) The Google app transfer was buggy. My MFA authentication for work worked for a couple of days, and then the profile was simply gone.
4) The camera on flash mode has a very long period that it wants to focus before deciding to take the picture.
Other than that, it's just like my Pixel 2, except that it cost me 700 dollars more for worse performance.
