If you're on the fence, you won't be disappointed
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned a lot of phones throughout the years. I'm going from an Iphone 12 pro max back to android. I chose the Pixel 6 due to the price and features. This pixel has one of the smoothest screens I've used. I have had no issues with the in screen fingerprint scanner, it has worked great. I enjoy having the power and volume keys on the same side of the phone. The phone feels great in the hand although the back of the phone does acquire smudges a little due to having a glass back. The cameras are great and the night mode works (dare I say) better than the iPhone. I really like this phone. It's hard to put down. The 90 hz screen is very smooth and the screen scroll is fast and enjoyable. As you can tell I'm not good at reviews but I felt I needed another reason to use my phone. In short, Im happy I chose the Pixel 6. I have used the phone as much as I can to test the battery life. I can easily go a day without charging and at the moment I'm using the phone alot throughout the day. Hope this helps someone that's on the fence about choosing. The built in call screening with Google is nice as well.

A very nice phone
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm no tech expert, so no real comments about such things. The phone works very well and fast. The battery life is a big improvement over my old phone. With heavy use, I'll still have 50% or more after 16-20 hours. The camera is fantastic, with good editing features (including removing extraneous people). The phone glass is very slippery so a cover is a necessity. The raised camera surface seemed strange at first, but I like it because it improves the grip on the phone.

Decent phone, has issues w/ home wifi
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from the Pixal 4a so it was an easy switch. The phone has a nice weight and size and fits comfortably in my hand. I'm hardly on my phone, except at work (to play music to my Bluetooth speaker), so take this with a grain of salt, the battery lasts at least two days and sometimes 3 without me having to recharge it. I rarely use the camera, but it takes decent pics without any issues. The speaker is decent and works well for phone conversations. The only real issues I have had with this phone is with wifi. I had no problem connecting my 4a to my home wifi, but with the Pixel 6, I connect but have no internet. I've attempted multiple ways of fixing this, per internet searches, and it does not work. My son's latest phone has the same issue (it's a Samsung), which leads me to believe that the newer phones are having some issue with older routers/boosters. (My 4a had no issues connecting to and using my home wifi.)

A decent Pixel phone with some drawbacks
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the Pixel lineup of phones and was really looking forward to this one, but unfortunately it was a step-down for me (in comparison to the 5). Definitely do some research before you purchase because there were some things about this phone that just frustrated me: Pros: - Camera is great as always. Google has been on it with their post-processing too. Sometimes I've had focus issues with up-close subjects but that may be because of the new camera lens. - Software is smooth with no bloatware. - Love the Sorta Seafood color. Cons: - Size and weight. It took some getting used to moving on from the 5 but even then this phone is bigger and heavier than its predecessor, and I usually prefer holding my phone one-handed. - This phone is VERY slippery without a case. - The optical fingerprint sensor is atrocious, especially with a screen protector on. Wish Google had gone ultrasonic here. - Battery life was just decent for me. Overall not a bad phone, but the cons were making my experience with this phone frustrating and I ended up giving it to a family member.

Great phone
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good phone. I'm more interested in speed & ease of use. I am not a sophisticated user, but have average knowledge. Came off an LG V20 which LG quit updating & the Pixel 6 is a great replacement. Hundreds of dollars less than other comparable phones, easy learning curve & long battery life. Bought a screen protector & simple case & good to go. So far, very pleased.

Very happy with my Pixel 6
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with my Pixel 6. My pixel 2 was dying and needed to get something soon. Did a lot of research and chose the Pix 6. The pictures are way better than my old one. Each one does take more space so I may need to adjust resolution for some pictures. It's great to be able to get thru more than 2/3 of a day without having to re-charge. I assume there are those that last longer but for the price and what I need, I'm really happy with the phone. I'm not a gamer and I don't watch movies so I can't give you feedback there either.

Nice phone overall, currently has bluetooth issues
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice phone, good camera and battery life. But the Pixel 6 needs some software updates. Bluetooth is messed up. Bluetooth will turn itself on and also switch to Bluetooth from phone audio without warning. It also connects to my truck but I get no audio. Same for hearing aids. I assume that this will be fixed. Also I have noticed that the brightness of the screen will change on its own in bright daylight which occasionally, but too often, makes the screen hard to see as it reduces the brightness. Whatever software is trying to automatically control brightness needs some work in bright light. I would recommend this phone as I believe the above issues will be fixed as they feel like software issues.

Very Happy with Pixel 6
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife has been an avid Samsung user for many years, but recently she made the switch to a Google Pixel, and she absolutely loves it! She's been taking amazing photos with it and has shown me the impressive results. She uses it all the time, and it's been a great experience for her. She never thought she'd make the switch, but she's glad that she did. The Google Pixel has certainly been a great upgrade and she's very happy with her choice.

Q: QuestionWe have Spectrum as our carrier. Am I able to purchase the pixel 6 through best buy and apply monthly payments to Spectrum?
Asked by Mimi.
- A:Answer Well, I purchased my Pixel 6 at Best Buy and BB set it up through Verizon. So I paid BB for the phone but am paying it off as a Verizon customer. It should work that way with Spectrum I imagine. Put the phone in a BB cart and see if it brings up Spectrum as a choice.

Q: QuestionHello, During a Google search seeking a 5G phone for the blind this phone came up. Does this phone really have features that will allow a blind person to make voice commands to call assigned numbers? I am just leery because of the touch screen.
Asked by Queenflo.
- A:Answer It's the Google Assistant that allows you to use your only your voice to text and call. I use it everytime I call my mom - once I have the assistant's attention (by touching my Pixel buds or saying "hey Google"), I just say "call Momma" and it does! There are many other features that can be accessed by the Google Assistant, I don't use them all, but I do utilize the morning routine where I say "good morning" once I get the assistant's attention. That routine includes it turning up the volume, telling me the current temperature, forecast for the day, events on my calendar, turning off my humidifier, and playing the news from 3 sources I have chosen. I imagine there are several routines that once created could be very beneficial to you.
