    Google's First True Pixel Failure

The phone casing and screen are tragically flawed and Google will not help you. There is a weak point in the casing at the cutout for the power button. This caused my screen to crack, despite never being subject to another stress or any drops. I only had the phone for 3 months before this happened, and now have to pay out of pocket to rectify Google's poor manufacturing and design. It really pains me to write this as I've only owned Pixels since the original Pixel XL.

If i could give a 5++++ star I would! This phone has not disappointed, my daughter loves it and adding the new Google FI to it as her carrier is just the icing on the cake. The picture quality is very high quality and the security measures on this phone is amazing! Definitely happy with this purchase!

For the record I am a huge Pixel fan. My Pixel 3 (rip) is by far the best phone I've ever owned. But the Pixel 6 Pro has tainted Pixel phones for me forever. For a phone that came out almost 6 months ago now there is no excuse for the software glitches I experienced daily. Battery life was exceptionally disappointing, a eraging around 5 hours in total. Only one of those hours was screen on, by the way. This phone also got HOT. So hot that I had to shut it down in fear that it might catch fire. The 120Hz screen is nice (although the panel itself is sub par) but it is not enough to make the phone feel faster than my two year old LG V60. Side by side, they perform the same and at times the Pixel 6 Pro is slower than my old LG. The only thing I miss about the Pixel 6 Pro is the 12 gigs of ram. You can open an app right after you wake up and not touch it until you go to bed and it will pick up right where you left off with no delay or hesitation, assuming your battery doesn't die by then. TL;DR- I returned the phone and I don't recommend anyone but it.

I switched back to Android with this phone and love it. I hadn't used Android since my old Pixel XL, and this is easily the best smart phone experience I've ever had. It's buttery smooth and the voice activation is such a breath of fresh air after struggling with Siri for so many years.

Love the google pixel, the only thing I wish is that it didn’t have a curved display and that you have to go with it’s cheaper sibling to get that flat display

    Wireless charging doesn't work.

I just got this Pixel Pro 6 a few days ago and I am shocked by the number of problems I've had. But I'll zero in on one: wireless charging. It's completely broken. At first, it worked, even though the phone is very persnickety about charging in general. I bought a new 15w fast charger as well as a new ac block that has a "PD" USB C port. The first few times I put it on there, it charged at a pretty good rate as shown by the Ampere app. It even worked on an older wireless charger, albeit slower. One night, I left on the older charger overnight and woke up to it at only 80%. Then all of a sudden, it simply stopped charging wirelessly on both chargers. It detects that it's connected to a charger but discharges as if it's not there. I found out that "adaptive charging"may be an issue, so I turned that off. The problem still persists and I have given up on wireless charging all together. (And, beware that charging in general is a problem with this phone. It simply demands a new "PD" spec charging block. All of my existing chargers wouldn't charge at all, or extremely slowly.) It is absurd that I would spend 900 dollars on a new phone and not have a prominent feature not work. I see this problem all over the web. Google should be embarrassed. The number of problems I've had is completely unacceptable.

Upgraded from a pixel 4 xl. So far haven't had any issues other than fingerprint reader can be a little finicky. Pure android with no bloat is the way to go. Phone definitely needs a case as back of phone is super slick without it.

Google really needs to fix the fingerprint sensor or the software. What’s the point of having it if it doesn’t work? I thought this was going to be the replacement for my buggy apple device, nope. This things fingerprint sensor would never unlock my device. Just would tell me not recognized and then make me enter my pin.

i'd give it 9 out of 10 if that were the scale. the only thing is that I expected the battery life to be exceptional. it is good, perhaps very good, but I can run it down in a day, and I do not stream that much on my phone. everything else is google great

Battery life is not as advertised, it's terrible. Phone has fantastic sound and screen quality is also very good. Phone starts quickly, layout is good, and functionality is good despite swiping pitfalls (often swiping left and accidentally closed window if anywhere outside of center of screen). Phone also gets very, very, warm while charging or streaming.

With Android 13 update this phone is hard to beat. Contrary to the popular notion of this phone having issues fingerprint sensor, this phone delivers much improved fingerprint recognition with update 13. This is a class apart

Phone runs very smooth. No issues at all. One thing I want to mention is that the magic eraser doesn't work that well. I could tell that the area an object was removed. But this is all software driven so hopefully future updates will make it better.
