touch screen issues, too many problems for a 'PRO' phone. Seriously GOOGLE? I loved the pixel 3a, 4, and i finally upgraded and i get this... $1000 wasted in my opinion.

Google completely nailed it on this phone. I don't know what's with all the negative reviews but coming from the Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra. This is by far a way better phone. This phone has a better camera. Better video, better software. The only thing the s21 ultra has over the pixel is that the speakers are louder and the display is better obviously because Samsung has the best display in the industry. But other than that that's a small sacrifice for the amazing Google experience that you're getting. And battery life hasn't been an issue for me yet. I'm still able to get to a full day use and it's probably because I do not use 5G because 5G does not work Well where I live so I just run LTE

Battery on the new Pixel 6 pro is horrible. I barely get 4 to 5 hours of use out of it supposed to last "all day" I have to charge the thing 3-4times a day

As a person who loves and thrives in Google's ecosystem, this phone is truly welcomed! However, there are a few things that I am not happy about: Firstly, for the amount that Google has charged for this phone there should have been an included charger. I have noticed that this is a new trend amongst high end cellular manufacturers, but this truly should not be the case. Consumers spend lots of money for phones and not to include a charger is the ultimate insult at best! The phone is slippery, therefore, a case needs to be applied or there is great risk of the phone dropping. I have priced cases from Google and they are expensive, typically around $30. For the amount that consumers spend, a complimentary case should come with the phones. I have purchased from a lower end cellular provider, who always includes a protective case, glass shields, and ear buds. Overall, the design and performance of this phone is second to none. I am truly an Android "girl" as I have received nothing but optimal performance from Google's phones from every possible aspect with usage, performance, useful features, user friendliness, and overall longevity.

Not what I expected from Google flagship, camera is ok'ish. Sloooooow (slow), not a flagship phone at all. It's better to buy pixel 5 rather than pixel 6 pro.

I returned this after owning it for 90 minutes. It went into a screen lock that could not be opened.

I was switching from Samsung to Google and Google did not make it intuitive enough for a new user.

Best Buy wasted 13 hours of my life lying to me and canceling orders relating to this. Shame on you.

It heats often specially unbearable while gaming for more than 10 minutes.

Listen, if you're even looking at this phone you've probably done some other research or read other reviews on this website already, so I'll save you some time from listing all that. This phones great. Want a fantastic camera quality and exclusive features? Go with this phone. Want consistent updates and support from Androids manufacturer? Get this phone. Been on iPhone for years and thinking of switching? This phone is the one for you. Want a long lasting battery? Give this phone a week to adjust to your usage and you'll be more than happy with it. Want the ability to customize your phone experience without having to jump through inane hoops and dealing with manufacturers thinking they know you best? This phone right here. Bottom line, this phone is a unique entry into the oversaturated market of Android phones that combines the best of the best camera quality, software stability, battery, and feature list. I've been showing it to my friends and coworkers just what it can do, and there are people with the newest iPhone considering switching just for the camera alone. When I show them how I've set the launcher by downloading a free app that organizes everything into one easy to use strip, they talk about how useful that is. When I compare how long my battery lasts compared to them they have a difficult time believing it. Oh, but if you're looking to be blue on an iPhone text message, this isn't the phone for you. That's on Apple though and not Google. They've tried to fix that for years to be continually blocked by Apple as that's their main selling point now.

I ordered this phone the day it went on sale for pre-order. I've had it a few days now and have to say that out of all the phones I've had, mainly Google Pixels, this is by far the quickest and most premium feeling phone I've had! The camera is unbelievable, the voice typing is amazing, and the whole feel of the phone is nice. I highly recommend!

It was between this and the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra during the black Friday deal season last year and either device would have cost me roughly the same amount. I chose the Pixel 6 Pro because it was newer than the S21 and because I had come from a run of Samsung phones previously and wanted a change (Note 8 then Note 10). I have eagerly waited for software updates every month hoping that the bugs would go away but 6 months later sadly too many remain. Pros: Great Camera, decent screen, decent battery life, special features (magic eraser, call screen/hold4me) Cons: Poor Connectivity (Verizon), battery life and screen not as good as Samsung, bugs that persist after 6 months of updates I applaud Google for working hard to compete more with Samsung (and Apple) and try to gain market share. However it's clear that they still don't sell enough phones (or perhaps don't care enough about the business line) to have the polished delivery of their two main rivals. I regret not getting the Galaxy S21 Ultra and am really looking forward to getting a better (different) phone in the coming months which will likely not be a Pixel.

Very glad we waited for the upgrade. The battery life is just fine. I spent about 4 hours working on my phone and still 72% battery life left. I did turn off the 5G because there is no 5G near me so wise to save battery from looking for that service. I programmed 5 different finger prints with the main finger 2x and I have had no issues with the biimetrics. The camera is fast, crisp and responsive. The programming has been well thought out. I'm not sure how I'll like this large phone but I'm very eager to give myself time to get used to it. I did but the otterbox defender pro case and i like the way that feels and the ease of accessing the buttons. This phone is certainly a wise choice comparing to the Samsung 21 ultra.

For context, I'm coming from a OnePlus 9. The Pixel 6 has better battery life and the phone is just as responsive as my last. The dictation feature is an incredible upgrade and it's well worth getting this phone if you dictate frequently. I was worried about the battery life because reviewers were saying it's underwhelming but I don't know what they're talking about. It has excellent battery life. I'm not worried about charging because I'm using the charger brick that came with my Pixel 5 and it's working well. Android 12 is a good experience coming from oxygen OS and I think you'll enjoy it if you have any toes dipped in the Google ecosystem. This phone feels like the smartest smartphone because of its smart features like hold for me and assistive menus when calling businesses. Also, I can select text from any screen at any time. The AI is very impressive. It is a really solid phone and I don't think you will be disappointed.

I'd rate this more stars if I could. I really, REALLY like this phone. A lot. It's worth the price and the pictures are phenomenal. Video is good too but not the best.
