Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the Pixel 6a 128GB (Unlocked)'s camera quality, battery life, ease of use, and its price point. Many appreciate the phone's size and performance, while some find the lack of wireless charging and the tendency for the device to get warm to be drawbacks. The absence of a headphone jack and the standard refresh rate were also noted as missing features by some users. Overall, positive feedback on core functionalities outweighs concerns about missing features for most customers.

It's a very good phone, able to run any casual activity just fine. My favorite part is the adaptive battery. It makes the battery way better than expected when reading the specs. I have 2 gripes though, and that's with the OS. It has a bunch if google apps on it like google photos that can't be uninstalled. They're system apps so even though there's an uninstall option when you look on the play store, they can't actually be uninstalled. This really sucks as one of the upsides of the phones is supposed to be that it lacks bloatware, yet it's stuck with useless google apps that try and get and get you to get a google 1 subscription (again pointing to google photos). Theres also a search bar on the first that takes up 1/4 of the customizable space and can't be removed. This stuff is annoying and unnecessary for an os that tries to be clean and simple. *****TLDR - Good phone. Annoying though that it's often mentioned as lacking bloatware while having a bunch of google stuff that can't be gotten rid of.

Never spending $1000 on a phone again. This phone does everything great for just $299. I do wish it had wireless charging though.

Love my new Google Pixel 6a. Upgraded from a 4a and it was a quick and seamless process. The new phone allows you to bring all of your information and apps over via either a dual USB-C cable that is provided or over Bluetooth. I chose Bluetooth as the port on my 4a was breaking down (hence the upgrade). I was very surprised that it even put all of the apps/icons in the exact same location on screen including those in folders. I still had to re-sign into many apps but that was expected. And I got it on sale for $300! Unlocked!

It seems okay but the learning curve was steep. Good thing it's got Samsung-like qualities. Not very intuitive and, weirdest of all, I had to get the Geek Squad to download an app so I'd have a text notification! Really? After the fact, it does seem to have everything I like to have on a phone. Terrible stock calculator - didn't show the math! Installed a better one from the Play Store. Lots of ads. Had my former phone since 2014. We're on another generation with phones. Too much for me.

I am very impressed with the cell phone features that are very numerous and available many places online to read about. Keep in mind this phone made by Google. Some of the games are impossible to play because of advertising interruptions, in my situation it is Scrabble. There are times when an ad would appear and there was no easy way to get back to the game, obviously that upset me. I could pay something like $8/month to remove ads ( I don't play that much), but I am going to remove the game app.
