Solid Phone

We have T-Mobile so I simply moved the SIM card from the old phone into the new Pixel 6a. The task of handling the transfer of the old phone data and apps didn't take very long. My only issue was for some reason the SMS text messages did not make it over in the transfer process. (My fault or phones I have no idea.) She didn't really want the old text history so in the end I gave up trying to find an easy way absent a phone reset to retrieve the data. The phone updated to Android 13 along with the current security patches and that did take some time. Otherwise arranging apps and making sure each signed in correctly was last item to complete for setup. Solid built phone as I said earlier, great OS updates, camera works well and moving up from 4G LTE into the 5G world most welcome. If you are looking for a bit smaller phone this really works great ....... also the battery life isn't bad either... I don't know if it will last as long as in the specs but it seems ok thus far.

Not much to choose from at the time that was in stock. Battery life and charging speed are ridiculously low.

I'm not sure the call quality is as good as as my old Samsung Galaxy S10e. I do like the ease of some of the settings. I had no problem taking my carrier's sim card from the old phone and inserting it into the Pixel. I had service right away. Except for the call quality, I expect it to be a good phone for the next 3 or more years.
