Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the Pixel 6a 128GB (Unlocked)'s camera quality, battery life, ease of use, and its price point. Many appreciate the phone's size and performance, while some find the lack of wireless charging and the tendency for the device to get warm to be drawbacks. The absence of a headphone jack and the standard refresh rate were also noted as missing features by some users. Overall, positive feedback on core functionalities outweighs concerns about missing features for most customers.

For the money, the software is great, hardware is good, battery life is mind blowing. I’m someone that doesn’t care a lot about cameras so this is a 5/5.

Positives: - Low price - Cool design - Good picture quality for its price range - Google's user interface is simple and solid Negatives: - Poor connectivity issues: The phone will outright miss calls and delay the receiving of text messages, even in an area with decent signal. The primary function of phones are to call and text, so this is unacceptable. - While the photo quality is good, the phone will automatically rotate the pictures you take if you take it at certain angles. And there is no option to turn this action off. It is very frustrating if you're a person who often takes pictures. - Battery life: The battery isn't very good. More demanding tasks like watching videos or playing games can drain the battery quickly. I often found myself charging the phone at least twice a day. - Volume buttons and power button placement: Most phones have the power button under the volume buttons, but for some reason, Google decided to switch the placement of these buttons on the Pixel. So if you previously used a non-Google smartphone, you might not be used to the switched placement of the buttons on this phone and constantly press the wrong buttons.

Much nicer phone than expected overall. It was nice to purchase both of them while on sale. The employee in this department suggested this model for us who really do not utilize cell phones a lot.

The Pixel 6a is a great phone! I can't imagine needing anything more. It's very responsive, it's easy to view and it has a reasonably small 6.1" screen, which was one of the main selling points for me, as I don't agree with the current trend towards gigantic phones. This phone does everything I need and it does it well, although I must say that I don't use it for gaming or to watch movies. You can pay plenty more if you need a really high-end display for those purposes, but I'm actually quite satisfied with this one. I also like the fact that I was able to upgrade it to Android 13 on the first day.

Very good phone. Battery lasts pretty long. Really satisfied with that. Had issues with fingerprint reader but was able to fix when adjusted screen sensitivity. Other than that, really digging this phone.

It's a good phone and was a bargain at $299. I know everyone loves the camera and camera app in this phone, but I kind of hated it. It seemed as if photos were overprocessed and ended up looking like paintings. I downloaded an alternative app called Open Camera and now the photos look much more natural. Good performance, great battery life, tons of storage. A bit big in size for my tastes, but i got used to it. Definitely a good choice but you may want to try Open Camera as an alterative to the highly processed photos you get from Google.

The phone works great, and it has a lot of useful features. I only have one complaint, and it is the lack of a headphone jack. That is the one thing preventing this from going 5-stars.

After 5 months of using my pixel I can say that it's a good phone. It has better than average camera capabilities and it's very fast . My only problem is the how fast the battery drains.

This is my first pixel. I've been wanting one since they first came out. At first the battery would die fast but then I found out it's a smart battery and it gets longer as irlt learns your habits.

I really like this phone. It's compact, fast, and the camara is great. I don't like that the battery doesn't last more than a day and also that the cell phone gets too hot with prolonged use.

I traded in a Pixel 3 which suddenly bricked itself for the pixel 6A. I'm very happy so far with the performance of the phone, it seems faster than the 3 for sure. I did expect better battery life. However. I know many people are saying they get a full day out of this phone with still 20 to 30% charge left, but I don't know if a day to them is 24 hours or just 8 hours. I seem to be getting only about 8 hours before I need to charge up with use like Google maps and streaming Spotify plus email and Google searches. I do like the size of the phone as well and overall I'm happy with the purchase, especially for the price

Im coming from a poco x3 nfc which i got for $350. This i got for $300 so I feel they should be comparable. Well, my last phone had insane cameras and i didnt have to do much there. This phone i got because every review noted how impeccible the camera was. Its not, at least not without a tom of work inside the settings. Ive taken amazing pictures which the phone then processed and turned out awful. Its fine in every other regard. Again, this could be my user error, but they could offer an in app guide for fine tuning if they give you a lower class camera with a high class after-shot processing capability.
