Customers are satisfied with the Pixel 6a 128GB (Unlocked)'s camera quality, battery life, ease of use, and its price point. Many appreciate the phone's size and performance, while some find the lack of wireless charging and the tendency for the device to get warm to be drawbacks. Great phone for the price, for now I don't need wireless charging and it's hard to notice the 60hz screen so the set of features that it offers are nice. Also super happy with the size.

Running a app for long time like Google map for driving make a phone very hot. I have a window mounted and when direct sunlight hits, it wouldn't even charge, I assume that thermo protection prevent it charged for over heating. Other than that 6A is excellent device. Hope and waiting for the update from Google to resolve this issue.

Granted I've only had this phone for 1 week so review and rating may change as I get comfortable with it but so far I'm really liking it. This is my first Pixel and my first new phone in 5 years so really enjoying all of the bells and whistles of newer technology. As some have mentioned the phone did get pretty hot when I was downloading and transferring from my old phone but have since been ok. Haven't tested the limits of the battery life but will soon enough. Also haven't really figured out the power of the camera but will also soon spend some time playing with it. All in all am enjoying it and hope it will last me as long as my previous phone did!

I'm been using Google Pixel phones since version 3 and this 6a is a replacement for a Pixel 4 that decided to come unglued. That's right - unglued. Google it. It's a thing for the Pixel 4 phones. So I'm really hopeful that 2 years from now this phone will NOT suffer the same fate. I'm an iPhone user, but my day job requires me to work with Android phones as well so I'm always flipping back and forth and the Pixel is the Android device I always come back to. One of the best features of this phone is that because it is made by Google, it runs pure Android, which means you don't have to wait for an OEM (cough...Samsung) to always get the latest versions of Android OS. In the two years I've used the Pixel 4 it's never been more than 14 days behind the latest major version and monthly security patch version. So while Google continues to struggle with getting other OEMs to update the OS on Android this is never a problem with the Pixel phones. If you need to always be running the latest Android OS like I do for my day job, Pixel phones should definitely be a purchase for you. Being used to the Pixel 4, the 6a's almost full inch of extra screen space seems tiny on paper but looks amazing in person. I'm a Fortnite player on Android and have been very impressed with how much better Fornite runs on the 6a compared with the 4 but the larger usable screen space for apps and games is the feature I notice the most. The pinhole camera took some adjustment to get used to and I do like the fingerprint unlock. The form factor of the 6a is easy to hold for long gaming sessions being slightly more blocky (if that's even a word) than the 4. On the software front, Android continues to add innovative and useful features such as the new magic eraser feature for the camera where you can remove unwanted objects quickly as easily from the phone and the adaptive battery and extreme battery saver features do allow you to skip a day or two of remembering to plug the phone in to charge and with Android 13 around the corner, this Beta's are already available for install on this phone. Overall this is a solid Android device and so far the build quality is far superior to the previous Pixel devices.

Great phone. I don't need much, so this is great for me. I don't need anything that folds. A stylus would be nice, but I'm not interested in going back to Samsung phones.

Starting with the transition from my old Android phone to this Google Pixel 6a; the process went without any glitches. Since I had a large amount of data and multiple applications installed on my old phone, the transfer took almost 40 minutes. PROS: -        When it comes to connectivity (5G NR, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), Bluetooth 5.2, NFC), this is my first 5G phone. With Verizon I am getting almost 130 MB/sec of download speed, pretty decent for cell phone connectivity. The fact that the phone is unlocked is also a big plus to me, as I do not like to be tied to only one provider. During the set-up process, it only required the old SIM card, and no other additional configuration.  -        One of my favorites features of the Android operating system is “Screening Calls”. After you receive a call, you have the option to send the caller to an Android Screening service. The caller will be presented with a predetermined message, in real time you will see the caller’s answer. Then you have the option to block, ask for more information, or answer.  -        Google’s Personal Safety application pulls everything together in reference to: emergency contacts, medical information, addresses, etc. Everything conveniently located at one location, saved locally into the device.  -        Google’s Safety Check allows the user to set up alerts at a certain time, it will also activate emergency sharing if the user does not respond. If a response is not received, the Emergency sharing will notify your pre-selected contacts, and it will also include your location. Google’s Personal Safety supports car crash detection, notifying pre-selected contacts of the user’s involvement in a crash. -        Battery life is one of the best ones that I have had the opportunity to experience. So far, the Adaptive Battery allows me to have a battery life for the whole day, without the concern or risk of losing battery during the day.  -        Although I did not use this capability it is a functionally that Google Pixel 6a offers, the ability to not use a physical SIM card. It allows you to use an eSIM, a technology that adds a cellular plan to the Pixel 6a, without using a physical SIM card.  -        Google’s Quick Tap offers its users some extra functionality at your fingertips.  -        Google’s Live Caption is one of the most convenient accessibility functions in Google’s lineup. Excellent application when you are in a loud environment.  -        The display is a 6.1-inch Screen AMOLED, with FHD+ 60Hz and 20:9 aspect ratio. -        The camera it is a great feature of this Pixel 6a phone, the phone packs two rear camera sensors, a 12.2MP primary camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera with a 114˚ field-of-view.   CONS  -        The Google Pixel 6a comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB flash storage, with no additional capability to include an additional MicroSD card slot. That is a big disadvantage for me, as I like to save my large files (i.e., videos) on an external storage. -        A drawback that I recognized is that the Pixel 6a does not come with wireless charging. The user can recharge over USB-C at up to 18W.

For my own taste this phone is a 4/5. I really liked it. The build quality is excellent. In 2022, even with budget option phones, 60Hz is a thing of the past. Additionally, I'm a little older but I still have good eye sight. I found the size of the screen too small for me. May not be a problem for some people. The text was so small I had to use the feature in options to make it larger. I went ahead and paid my $45 restocking fee and got the Pixel 6. Wasted a little money, but the Pixel 6 is a much better phone and easier to read.
