Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the Pixel 6a 128GB (Unlocked)'s camera quality, battery life, ease of use, and its price point. Many appreciate the phone's size and performance, while some find the lack of wireless charging and the tendency for the device to get warm to be drawbacks. The absence of a headphone jack and the standard refresh rate were also noted as missing features by some users. Overall, positive feedback on core functionalities outweighs concerns about missing features for most customers.

Imo the pixel 7 or the 6 is jot worth getting over this if you dont need the better cameras. Pixel is all about software and this phone delivers it in spades.

I have always been android user and my wife I Phone user. Purchased a Google Pixel and was a terrible choice. Unknown to me Google is not vey friendly to I phone . Most of the programs were difficult to bring over. Their support for someone who is unfamiliar with the product is non existent. Only on line or discussions. I had to return and purchase iPhone . Happy wife Happy life..

Great phone at a really good price! We use these phones at work and they are amazing and packed with features. iPhones are ok, but the Pixel is a great phone!

Great phone with solid Android and minimal bloatware. Still small enough to be handy. Fingerprint recognition is hit or miss.

Bought this phone as a gift for 299.99. At this price it is quie a good deal. I can text and call people. It even has a screen that you can touch.

Solid phone for the price. Google got their software shorted out for this one, at least in my case. My younger brother is happy with his first phone.

What I like about this phone is, unlike my current one, it comfortable fits in one hand. On the initial startup you can use either an eSim or an actual card, I chose the old school way. Going thru setup was very intuitive and my Google account downloaded all the rest. Of course I had the choice to add/delete whatever I wanted. The phone is pretty lightweight and as mentioned earlier it's small enough to fit in the palm of one hand. If you're just texting or scrolling pics it's very comfortable. This is a 5G phone that does well in most areas except my home, but that's the same issue I have with my current phone. So that's an issue with the carrier and not the phone. Calls come in clear without having a muffled or hollow sound to it. The 'glass' that covers both front/back appears to me to be a hard plastic material, which may or may not be to my advantage if accidentally dropped on a soft surface. I play a lot of games on my phone, so far I haven't seen any lagging on the graphics nor does it get hot after an hour of playing (LOL don't judge me). The camera is pretty decent with a 7x zoom, the pictures I took in a dark room came out really crisp and clear with little to no pixelation. What I really like is the Magic Erase…it really works. I can tell where it's been stitched back together but if handed to someone who hadn't seen the before, I'm sure they wouldn't notice it. There is one thing that I am so impressed about with this phone, that is, it has a voice recorder. It's such a small perk that makes a big difference. What I dont like about it is there isn't wireless charging but I can turn on NFC…I'm a bit confused. Isn't that pretty much the same technology? The fingerprint unlock is kind or persnickety and sometimes requires multiple attempts to allow entry. And finally, the ads! Not sure why Google thinks I want to see a bunch of ads in my apps whether they are personalized to me or not (you can manage to get only relevant ones) but I can't stop them all together. All said and done, it's a nice phone that does what it says it'll do. Would I change from my Ultra 22 - no way, but it is a good phone.

Let me just say I bought this phone for a different reason as I wanted to use for a class project and I'm a non-tech user. The phone itself is a great buy but for my use, the feature I wanted, didn't work like I was told which was locked by either the carrier or Google. Normal use, it worked like it should. The 6a feels like a sturdy phone and I think it's the best phone for under $400 (although I think it should be $250). If you're looking for a great alternative, the 6a should be considered on your list. Whatever Google did in terms of hardware, the responsiveness is really smooth as silk. I'm not a gamer by any means but I did have Samsung's and they were really slow for some odd reason after their updates. If Google made a second gen of the 6a, I would buy it. Pros: - UI (user interface) is really good, much better than the Samsung phones I've used. - Charges really fast and lasts a long day...if you don't open a ton of apps. -Speakers/mic provide a good range, although when I was on a call, the listener said I was breaking up...hmmm I don't know what that is. -Screen is wonderful but colors feel a little saturated, but I guess that's normal for a phone. Cons: - Wish it had a 512GB and external SD card expanded storage options. - Camera can't take truly dark pictures. Maybe the aperture needs to be 1.5 or something. - a 3.5mm headphone jack (hey I'm old school) - Allowing users to install a second OS - In-calls/speaker need a feature to boost vocal range for the hard of hearing/disabled.
