Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the Pixel 6a 128GB (Unlocked)'s camera quality, battery life, ease of use, and its price point. Many appreciate the phone's size and performance, while some find the lack of wireless charging and the tendency for the device to get warm to be drawbacks. The absence of a headphone jack and the standard refresh rate were also noted as missing features by some users. Overall, positive feedback on core functionalities outweighs concerns about missing features for most customers.

Best phone for the price. Has a premium feel to it. Only flaw I found is the fingerprint sensor is a pain to setup.

Welcome to my review. Before getting started, I wanted you to be aware that I am not a gamer nor do I use any games to evaluate this or any other phone. Alright? Then on to the review. After prior very poor experience with a Pixel 4XL, I really wasn't wanting to go through that again. But I did anyway and I am glad that I did. Here's why: 1) This Pixel 6a is really, really fast. Apps open quickly, execute tasks quickly, and go away - once again-quickly. 2) The display is very clear snd bright with accurate colors. The display is smaller, but it never seems 'too small' to me while fitting my hand rather well. 3) Unlike some other phones, the Pixel 6a does not offer face ID which makes me perfectly happy. It does offer an on-screen fingerprint reader that I tested and found to work really well, consistently, and correctly. I added a single print, then tested that it properly unlocked the phone (which it did). Then I tried to unlock the phone using a different finger which failed. I then added a few more fingerprints and tested similarly to before. At no time did it behave improperly. 4) RAM at 6gb and STORAGE at 128gb is more than adequate for all of my needs. 5) It just feels GOOD in my hand. 6) It takes good pictures with accurate colors. 7) Both Wi-Fi and cellular performance have been very good and more than adequate. Sadly, there is no 5G cellular service anywhere near me, so I cannot offer any opinion on it's performance vs 4g LTE. There was one Android OS glitch I encountered concerning the unlocked carrier status of the phone. If you have Software Developer options enabled, there is one option called Enable OEM Unlocking. For a true carrier unlocked phone, that option should be in a toggle on/off state, but mine was grayed out of which my means not carrier unlocked. Google Support indicated that issue would be resolved in an upcoming update - one more reason to choose a Pixel phone: monthly updates with feature drops and security updates along with 4 years of OS upgrades. Hard to beat. Although the 6a does not have wireless charging out of the box (a petty Google decision), I have not missed it, yet. Yes, I am highly upbeat this phone and highly recommend it it.

I like many others have been using smartphones for over a decade. I've gotten a different one almost every year. This is the only one that's ever had a screen that cracked, and the crack happened the very first time I dropped it. What a joke.

Not what expected from goole pixel 6a compared to pixel 2 which I still use, camera isn't clear and low quality pictures, hangs and freezes for no reason sometimes. Clicking noises when on a call and having your speaker on, not much of options for in pocket ringing notification and some minor basic functionalities that are missing from mobile compared to other mobile brands.
