He had it two days before it dropped into a boot loop cycle we couldn't get it out of. The Best Buy employees didn't even attempt to fix the problem, just threw a new phone at it so we had to restore the new phone from a cloud back up instead of being able to transfer data directly between phones. He ended up losing about 6 months of activity but at least the new phone has continued working for a week so far.

HAS no facial recognition and the stupid finger print scanner on the screen is completely useless. it does not work . there's tons of complaints online aboth this phone. if you use apps that require log in then finger print is useless.. I am EXTREMELY disappointed with this phone. The screen is terribly unresponsive. The fingerprint sensor is mostly useless as I have to delete and reset the fingerprint every day just to get it to work 50% of the time. I loved my Pixel 4a, but after only using this for one month, I am considering replacing it with a different manufacture's phone. It is a terribly frustrating device to use due to the screen/fingerprint response issues.

Great entry phone but missing a critical feature

Google really packed this phone with a ton of great features. Google really focused on AI with their Tensor SOC processor giving it features like "Hold for Me" where you can have the phone stay on the line for you while your on hold waiting for the next customer support. Though it's packed with great features it still missing a couple of thing like Qi wireless charging so Tesla in console wireless chargers will just be a place to seat your phone. The few missing features that most phones are equipped with are minor when you compare what you get to what's missing. In the Box: Google - Unlocked Pixel 6a USB-C cable USB-A to USB-C adaptor Sim card pin tool Quick Guide Pros: Tensor SOC processor AI focus features: Photo editing made easy (remove objects even people!!!!) Hold for Me, phone waiting AI AWESOME speech to text (other phones have this feature but Google make is actually work!) Live Translate (only works for a few languages at the moment) Cons: Does not support wireless Qi Charging Gets warm fast charging

And I've never had to think of battery life before in the past. But for some reason this phone wouldn't stay charged longer than 4 hours. Other than that I pretty much liked everything else about this phone if I would have had better battery life this would have been a phone that I would have been my daily phone.
