Biggest gripe is the fingerprint sensor. With a screen protector, I would say it works about 25% of the time. It helps to have your fingertips well moisturized. I would say that the screen could be a little brighter when turned all the way up.

It was challenging for a non techy like me, but with a little help from BestBuy and Pixel I got things working and I like the phone except for how it accruses phone calls beyond 100 and that is so much work. Call should be marked to keep only if it is important and and all others deleted.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Moving from an S20 Fe 5G, I didn't know what to expect out of the Pixel 7 but I'm happy to come back after a month to say that it was well worth pursuing. The android experience on this phone is extremely streamlined and optimized. This is the first android phone I've ever used where I stayed on the stock launcher, it's that good. The hardware doesn't disappoint either; Tensor G2 seems to be a significant step up from the G1 silicon and ML features seem to process very quickly. If there's any downside it'd be dropping support for 32-bit applications. While many of the apps I use daily were able to be reinstalled and used with no issue, other devs only offer 32-bit versions of their applications. It seems its up to devs to bring their apps up to code but other than that, I'd totally recommend this phone.

They only reason I give this phone three stars is that we had some trouble for the first week receiving messages. After several days everything started to work as it should. If Google can work out the bugs on this phone I would easily give it a five star rating.
