The new camera features are great, as is the photo quality. Sound quality isn't as good, but I just Bluetooth to a speaker and it's fine. The physical size is just right, plenty of storage space, and the calls are really clear.

The phone was not even six months old.

Very Disappointed - Second Pixel to Suddenly Die

However, just like my previous Pixel 5a, this phone suddenly died on me after about two years of use. It's completely bricked and unresponsive, despite my best efforts to troubleshoot. I always take excellent care of my electronics. This Pixel 7 was always in a case with a screen protector. I only used the official charger and cable, and even configured the battery to only charge to 80% to maximize its lifespan. The phone was never exposed to water, extreme heat, or used for anything processor or battery-intensive, not even gaming. To have the exact same sudden death issue happen with two Google Pixel phones in a row, both lasting around two years, is incredibly disappointing. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. I will not be buying another Pixel phone and cannot recommend them to others based on my experience.
