Takes good pictures, runs fast and a bit hot and my phone had some hardware problem where in it had bad reception due to which there was heavy battery drain and after 8 days laso the same thing-continued and utimately i gave up and returned the phone back. I contacte google but their customer service was horrendous and they we asking me to send bug reports , i sent a couple after which thet didn’t respond

Go for it! I've been having a good experience so far. The phone is really smooth and fast, though I haven't used it extensively. The data transfer adapter was quite handy and made it easier to transfer apps and data from my old phone. Battery can easily last a day and can push through the night for the second day. The Obsidian model was bit of a fingerprint magnet on the back but I still love the color over Lemongrass. Too tempted to go caseless, but don't want to risk damaging the glass. The camera is amazing, along with the stabilizations and AI unblur. If you want an even better camera go for the Pro model else Pixel 7 covers all the areas.

Wanted to replace iPhone 12pro and looking for good Android candidate. Did lots of research, reviews and decided this is it. Been using almost 2weeks and no complain. Heating is not big issue, almost all phones are getting heated up depends on your usage. I havent observed any unusual heating. It is fast, great camera and amazing AI features and great price too! I believe Google is getting better at their pixel phones and this is encouraging. Pixel7 is already good enough for most users and nice phone to use.

I've had my Pixel 7 over a year now, and honestly, it's been a bit of a game-changer. I used to be the person always struggling to get a decent photo, especially in low light. But the Pixel's camera is just amazing. It captures details and colors that I never thought possible from a phone. The battery life is also surprisingly good. I can go a full day without needing to plug in, even with heavy use. And the phone is just so smooth and responsive. It feels fast, even when I'm running multiple apps at the same time. One of my favorite features is the "Call Screen" function. It helps me avoid spam calls, and it's even transcribed a few important calls for me. I also love how clean and simple the Android interface is. It's so easy to use. The only downside I've found is that the phone can get a bit warm sometimes, especially when I'm using it for gaming or video streaming. But it's not a deal-breaker for me. Overall, I'm really happy with my Pixel 7. It's a great phone at a great price, and it's definitely made my life a little easier.

I finally upgraded to the Pixel 7, and I'm so glad I did. The camera is amazing, and I love the new features. The battery life is also much better than my old phone. It's super fast and responsive, and I haven't had any issues with lag. Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase.

I’ve always preferred Google Pixel phones over the competition. There are several reasons. The first is that it is the cleanest form of Android without all the bloatware tacked on. This is especially true when you compare it to the biggest Android device manufacturer in the world. The second is because the software experience, with its Pixel-exclusive features, that give these phones the edge over the competition. And lastly, the camera processing. Google has been the leader in handling image processing for several years. And while the rest of the competition has finally caught up, Google manages to find little things that sets it apart from the rest. For the first time, and because of the age of the previous phone, I decided to directly transfer my apps and data to the Pixel 7 Pro. The process is simple and brings the majority of data over. And thankfully, an app that I use to keep track of work punches retains the data that I have on the old phone. Once all that data is transferred over, I let the phone download and reinstall the 3rd party apps. Sadly, all my Bluetooth devices that were connected to the old phone did not transfer over. So I have to set all those back up once again. The software experience is great as anticipated. And since all my preferences and customizations were transferred over, I did not have to redo all my icon placements and organization. While I’d like to give the phone some more time to check for more quirks and small issues, I simply cannot find anything wrong with Android as a whole. Perhaps this is just due to having used Android for so long. Older Pixel users will be paying attention to this section, as it pertains to biometric security. When I used the Pixel 6a, I initially had some issues with the under-display fingerprint reader. And while software updates did eventually resolve most of this, it was not the best first impression experience. It was of great concern due to my workplace, which involves handling boxes and books for several hours. So I came in hoping the Pixel 7 Pro would provide a better first impression experience. And thus far, it’s working. But as lessons learned, I opted to utilize all four fingerprint registration slots for both thumbs for the best possible outcome. It’s not the fastest optical print reader. But it’s an improvement over the previous phones. Added to the Pixel 7 series is face unlock, which makes a strange return but using just the camera and AI/ML to recognize the face. As a security conscious person, I did not use this. Charging the phone up can be done via USB-C or wirelessly. It supports up to 23w charging in either mode but wireless charging comes with a caveat. That fast wireless charging only comes if you use Google’s proprietary charger. Otherwise, you’re limited to 12w according to Google. While this is disappointing to limit the speed of wireless charging when not using Google’s own charger, most people probably would not mind as much since it will be charged overnight while we sleep. The display is a new experience for me. It is my first high refresh display phone. Initially, I could not tell the difference. But after some speed scrolling, I started to notice the difference. High speed scrolling and fast animation really looks smoother when the refresh rate is cranked up high. And such a thing is slowly growing on me. There is concern for power consumption. But so far, it has lasted all day for me for medium use. I do have a couple of issues with the display. One of which is minor and is probably fixable using software. The other, though, is an issue by design. The display is curved very slightly on the edges, which makes finding an affordable screen protector that properly covers the entire displayed area difficult. I very much prefer a display that is all flat with no curved area at all. Honestly, all future phones need to go back to a flat glass altogether so we don’t have to worry about keeping our protectors in the center and straight. But that’s a different matter altogether. Other hardware performance seems pretty good so far. Just like the software, I did not run into any hardware issue. The WiFi is 6E capable but I have no router to test this with. Even WiFi 5 spec is fast enough for most tasks. I still wish there is a headphone jack for times when I go into crowded areas and there are a lot of wireless signals (ie. riding the train). Camera performance has been great. I did not bother taking daytime shots since almost any phone camera can take decent daytime photos. Instead, I focused on other aspects such as night shots, astrophotography, and macro shots. And the Pixel 7 Pro delivers on that. Macro photography can be a bit tricky, since it switches to a different camera module to take the photo. I don’t know if this is something that’s desirable. But with enough light, the image can turn out good. Astrophotography is wonderful, but only if you have a tripod to mount the phone on. Cell network connectivity is nice but trying to test mmWave isn’t feasible. With no way to find out where a mmWave area is, I cannot see for myself just how fast this tech is. But other 5G bands work when available. As a whole, the Pixel 7 Pro is a great phone for those who want that stock Android and Pixel experience. There are some weird quirks, such as wireless charging being limited to 12w max. Swiping is a bit odd and I am not sure if this is due to the 120Hz refresh rate or if this is software related. Either you need to swipe a longer distance to get the desired scrolling effect or it will either not work or scroll very little. The slightly curved display edges don't sit well with me and I prefer a totally flat screen or glass altogether. If you can look past these, then it’s a great phone to get. However, is it worth the MSRP? It’s a tough call. On the hardware end, you’re getting a 5x telephoto camera module, a 120Hz refresh rate display, more RAM, a larger phone which equates to larger battery and screen, and a higher resolution. If you’re able to afford it, then by all means it’s a good buy. But if you’re concerned more about the value of the phone you’re getting, it’s probably better to either get the smaller sibling or try to get this phone at a discount, either on sale or via trade in. Verdict: Buy if discounted The Good: Stock Android, first in line for Android updates, smooth experience The Bad: Curved display, no headphone jack, swiping gesture is finicky The Ugly: the thought of having no tempered glass screen protector

Very good phone. Had it for a few weeks now and I'm getting used to it. No problems so far. Much faster than my LG Velvet. Very nice Camara with extra features. Like the fact that it water proof to some degree. Work excellent on the Verizon network. I love that it tracks my coughing and snoring at night. Battery lasts me about 1.25 days without charging and I really use the phone for work, email, games and social media. I would recommend this phone to everyone!!

Everything about this phone is amazing except that android auto doesnt work with whatsapp. I can call on my iphone directly with any app and can set my favorites to call in teams, whatsapp, facetime etc. In android there no common dialer app. So your call and history is seperate for all the apps and you cant use android auto to call from anyothet app except for the main phone.. Photos are as good if not better than iphone 14. Battery life, smoothness, screen etc beats iphone anyday.

The fingerprint reader simply does not work with a tempered glass screen protector. More than one brand tried. And without the protector its still glitchy. The face unlock is awful. No matter how many times you set it up, it works maybe 10 percent of the time. Coming from the pixel 4a which had a fingerprint reader on the back that worked flawlessly, lightning fast and 100 percent of the time. It is infuriating that they have to mess with a good thing. Who needs an optical fingerprint reader in the screen? What's the the point? Also, it's heavy as a brick. You could fight off a mugger with it. Your hand gets tired after using it for too long. The battery life is not very good. At least not as good as the 4a which was nothing to write home about. It has a nice screen which is pleasant to look at and the camera is pretty good but you can get that with most decent phones today. I will be trading in this disappointment next year for something that doesn't stress me out every day

The phone has held up great over the past year since I bought it. Minimal bloatware, durable hardware, and it does everything I need it to do. I can do day-to-day tasks and play demanding games in decent settings, such as Fortnite, Minecraft, Warzone, etc.. I am satisfied with my purchase, however I do encounter bugs somewhat often. When I first got the phone it had many bugs and glitches, but recent updates have made the experience as smooth as any other device. Both my Pixel 7 and my S22 had issues with overheating, but the Pixel 7 (white) fairs much better than my S22 had. Overall, 4/5 stars. Little bloatware, easy to customize, and a good UI experience that is very close to stock Android, with plenty of features Google has sprinkled in. I deducted a star from my review for some glitches and bugs, and minor overheating that can lead to issues with battery-life. It is hard to get a bad phone at this price-point nowadays, I paid $699 in cash, but this phone often comes at a discounted price.

I've been using this phone for the past 2 weeks and so far, I love it! Solid upgrade from the pixel 6 I was using previously, as the features are useful (ex: face unlock and photo unblur) and I love that it's slightly smaller than the 6 as well. The pictures are incredible, battery life is impressively solid so far, and it's been reliable with zero issues. If you're looking at getting a cheaper, but new Google pixel, I highly recommend this one.

I'm definitely not overwhelmed by it's performance but it's good for the price. The battery life isn't great but it's ok. It does heat up at times that I don't think it should be. I think most of the little issues that I have are being corrected in the new update (fingers crossed). The cameras are great plus the screen is really nice with the 90hz refresh. At this price point, I don't think you will get a better phone.

Pretty happy with my switch from my old iphone 12 pro. The display is an immediate improvement, and the software for images are a night and day difference. I really love the android user experience; it's insane how smart the phone is, from automatically asking if I want to turn my alarm of for a national holiday, to automatically providing me with snoring insights without needing to buy into crazy apps. Now that there are more premium alternatives to the apple watch as well, I can't imagine going back to apple. The new personalization for my phone is also unmatched. I love the options for the UI. I'd also like to say I can still use the premium features for my apple airpod pros with a simple app installation that tells me the battery life and everything else. Between this and the pro, the price made it easy. The internals aren't different much. The screen is 90hz which is easily as good as 120hz, and I don't miss the extra camera the pro has. I also prefer the flat display versus the curved edge. The battery isn't amazing, but it is better than my iphone 12. But the smart super battery saver does more than apple's, and you can select essential apps. Paired this with a pixel watch as well as some Peak Design accessories and I couldn't be happier. Look for discounts as the pixel 8 approaches!

I updated to the Google Pixel 7 from the Google Pixel 4a so everything was familiar but definitely an upgrade. Got the unlocked version at Best Buy so it was quick and easy; in and out in about 5 minutes. The Pixel 7 is the first phone I had with a fingerprint sensor under the display and most of the time it's fast and reliable but sometimes it's slow and not reliable. Seems to be inconsistent, Could be just me but I miss the fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone like on my Pixel 4a. The camera on the Pixel 7 is very good and it has some great built in photo editing features. The battery life has also been very good; but I don't play a lot of games on it so I don't know how it would do under those circumstances. So for me, battery lasts at least a day before I charge it and charges quickly. I've only had for one month but so far, I would recommend Pixel 7.

I moved from a Pixel 3aXL to a Pixel 6. While the 3a was functional, the 6 was glitchy at times. Calls would not go through, hand off from Wifi to Cell tower was iffy. Notifications appeared later. As a phone, to make calls and send or receive texts, it was not reliable. Connections to Bluetooth devices was not consistent. I had purchased one Pixel 6 from Google and another one from Best Buy. Both had similar problems. It appeared to be "software" problems. The cell phone company and google support groups were of little use. So far, with the Pixel 7, it appears to be pretty similar to Pixel 6, but actually works consistently. So far calls are clear, texts arrive on time, Speakers sound good, videos are watchable (90Hz) refresh rate. Bluetooth connectively has been reliable. I use a Beeline Moto for navigation, the phone does not get warm. Will know more about battery life after using it for a while. The menu interactivity has sub-second responses. I have also used both sluggish Moto G phones and smooth Razer phones in the past. I use this phone to make calls, send some texts, take a couple of pictures. Read all the tech web sites for detailed reviews.

It was a great decision to purchase this as my Pixel 3a was going out of the full security update support loop. I got this open box and saved money. I am SO happy I moved forward with this phone. Fast, sleek, and not as big as I was worried about. I didn't want a phone that would cause arthritis trying to hold in one hand and this one seems to be just about the right size for me. Bigger storage capacity, faster speeds, included 5G capability, and the case I bought (not the bulky ones at the store) is fantastically beautiful. I use Straight Talk as my service provider and the only issue I had was trying to use their proprietary transfer wizard. Oh yes, it transferred things, except what I wanted like all my apps, texts, etc. After literally 18 hours straight of trying again and again, I looked online and followed Google's instructions. DONE. The camera takes even better photos than my beloved Pixel 3a camera which is honestly just an added bonus. The battery life has been consistently great as well. It does charge slower than my Pixel 3a and I use the same charger that I used for before, but that's no big deal for me. Happy.
