Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My pixel 5 was getting physically hot occasionally, so I thought I'd just upgrade. 1) it also gets hot very easily 2) the fingerprint sensor that is built into the screen works about 10% of the cases and it's just not getting better no matter what Google claims. So annoyed.. Setup is so much work, now I have to return it and do all that work again?!

I have to delete emails 2 or 3 times before it goes away and the you've got mail notification stays on after all emails have been read or deleted and I have to restart my phone to get rid of it. This will be my last Pixel phone.

The phone still shattered and Google couldn't care less. I use to be a Google fanboy, but over the last few years they have become trash. Do not support them.

My Pixel 3 lasted for years. So I bought my family three Pixel 7s for Christmas (they are also having issues) and I absolutely regret it.

Great phone but faulty phone

Google Phones are Junk!!

Its a paper weight. Google makes horrible phones. Save your money and your sanity!!!

The fingerprint reader is useless.

If you do a little research,you will find that that is true for almost all owners of this phone. If you want to use the fingerprint reader to unlock the phone or to use it for security with you banking apps, then DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE. It does not function; and you will have nothing but a headache.

Fingerprint Sensor is Worthless!

When I called google, my options were to send them my phone or drop it off at a repair shop, and be without my phone for 7 to 10 days, and considering other reviews, this will likely result in nothing. With only a 15 day return window, I have no option to get a refund for this flawed phone. Save your money. Buy a Samsung.
