I have been a longtime Android user and most of that was in the Samsung Galaxy, S4-8 & Note 8-20. This phone is absolutely fantastic! The Pixel 7 Pro reminds me a lot of using my significant other's iPhone, but with the flexibility and customizability of Android that I'm used to, with an incredibly smooth and easy setup! The packaging is very nice and recyclable, using mostly recycled paper and minimal other items in the box other than the SIM ejector and USB-C cable, all of which is perfectly fine by me, less waste around the house in the form of cheap stock chargers and unnecessary headphones. The hardware is absolutely stunning! The metal surround and "visor" is a really nice break from the off-center camera bumps of Google's contemporaries. The glass is very slippery, like many new phones, and similarly to my Note 20 Ultra, the curved edges are about the only thing keeping the case-less device from sliding right out of my hands. I noticed this was less an issue after some sweat and hand grease got on it, but then it also looked like it had sweat and hand grease until I cleaned it and the "slick" design returned in all its wet bar of soap-like glory! I opted for a clear, minimalist case because the design is truly distinct and I love the look of the obsidian and chrome! The battery life is great, lasting the whole work day with fairly heavy use. The display looks excellent with amazing colors, and has buttery smooth response! The same can be said about Google's Tensor 2 chip, very responsive and snappy, especially with a lot of apps running in the background! Gaming is very good, I only did a little bit of XBox Game Pass streaming, but the lag was non-existent and the phone only got kind of hot after an hour. Overall, this is a fantastic phone! I would definitely recommend it for both the Android and iPhone faithful, alike! The customization is there for those who want it and the phone/software experience is excellent out of the box! Maybe get a case right away, but your mileage may vary with the slipperiness of the casing and the phone is absolutely gorgeous! Get this phone and people will want to check it out!

I recently purchased the Google Pixel 7, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations in every way possible. This flagship device from Google is truly outstanding, and I am thrilled to share my 5-star review to highlight its remarkable features and overall performance. First and foremost, the Pixel 7's display is absolutely stunning. The vibrant colors, crisp details, and immersive visuals make every video, photo, and app come to life. The 6.4-inch OLED screen is a treat for the eyes, offering deep blacks and excellent contrast. Whether I'm browsing the web, streaming content, or gaming, the display never fails to impress. The camera capabilities of the Pixel 7 are nothing short of phenomenal. Google has consistently set the bar high with their camera technology, and the Pixel 7 takes it to the next level. The dual rear camera system captures breathtaking photos and videos, even in challenging lighting conditions. The quality of the images is outstanding, with remarkable sharpness, accurate colors, and impressive dynamic range. The night mode is a game-changer, allowing me to capture stunning low-light shots effortlessly. Selfies are equally impressive, thanks to the front-facing camera's excellent quality. The camera software, including the AI-powered features and editing options, adds another layer of versatility and creativity. Performance-wise, the Pixel 7 is a beast. The device is powered by a top-of-the-line processor and ample RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking, quick app launches, and seamless navigation through the user interface. I haven't experienced any lag or slowdown, no matter how demanding the task. Additionally, the battery life is impressive, easily lasting me throughout the day with moderate to heavy usage. The fast charging capability is a definite plus, providing a quick power boost when needed. On the software front, the Pixel 7 delivers the pure Android experience that Google is known for. The device runs on the latest version of Android, ensuring timely updates and access to all the latest features and security patches. The user interface is clean, intuitive, and highly customizable, allowing me to personalize my smartphone experience to suit my preferences. Design-wise, the Pixel 7 is sleek and elegant. The build quality is excellent, and the device feels premium in hand. The placement of buttons, fingerprint sensor, and ports is well thought out, contributing to the overall user-friendly design. Lastly, I must mention the exceptional customer support provided by Google. Their dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction is commendable, and it gives me peace of mind knowing that any issues or concerns will be promptly addressed. In conclusion, the Google Pixel 7 is an outstanding smartphone that offers a complete package of exceptional display, incredible camera capabilities, powerful performance, clean software experience, and sleek design. If you're in the market for a flagship device that delivers on every front, I wholeheartedly recommend the Pixel 7. It has certainly earned its 5-star rating and is a testament to Google's commitment to excellence in the smartphone industry.

    1. Battery (8/10): The Pixel 7 features a decent battery life, lasting up to three days on a single charge. While it may not be the longest-lasting battery in the market, it provides reliable performance for most users. Whether you’re browsing, streaming, or using productivity apps, the battery should keep you going throughout the day. 2. Display (10/10): The Pixel 7’s display is nothing short of impressive. With up to 1000 nits (HDR) brightness and support for a full 24-bit depth, it delivers vibrant colors and sharp visuals. Whether you’re watching videos, playing games, or simply browsing social media, the display is a standout feature. The bezel-less design and high resolution make content come alive. 3. Camera (10/10): Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the Pixel 7’s camera system. The upgraded front-facing camera is capable of recording 4K videos at 60FPS, ensuring high-quality selfies and vlogs. Additionally, features like Super Res Zoom allow you to zoom up to 8x without losing image quality, while the Macro Focus feature lets you capture detailed close-up shots. The rear camera setup also excels in various lighting conditions, producing sharp and vibrant photos. 4. Google Tensor G2 Chip: Powering the Pixel 7 is the new Google Tensor G2 chip, which improves overall performance and enables advanced Android features. Whether you’re multitasking, gaming, or running resource-intensive apps, this chip ensures smooth operation. 5. End-to-End Security: Google prioritizes security with the Pixel 7. It includes a Titan M2 security coprocessor, built-in VPN powered by Google One, and multi-layer hardware security. Users receive a minimum of 5 years of security updates, keeping their data safe. 6. Sleek Design and Dimensions: The Pixel 7 boasts a sleek design with dimensions of approximately 6.1 inches (155.6 mm) height x 2.9 inches (73.2 mm) width x 0.3 inches (8.7 mm) depth. It feels comfortable in hand and looks modern. In summary, the Google Pixel 7 offers an excellent package for Android enthusiasts and multimedia lovers alike. While some users may desire even longer battery life for heavy usage scenarios, overall, it’s a solid flagship device from Google that ticks all the right boxes.

I was so excited to switch from my galaxy s20 ultra and upgrade to the Google Pixel 7 Pro. Im a mom of 5 so camera quality is always the first thing i look for in a phone. Im constantly taking photos and videos of my kids so it was the first feature i went to on the pixel phone. The camera quality is absolutely amazing and extremely clear. I was able to see across the field and see my neighbors decorations on her porch, clear as day the wording on her sign and all! I absolutely love the camera on the pixel and definitel thibk its a step up from what i had previously. I love the different features in the camera app as well. When using the phone, there is no lag in browsing through the apps, internet, or playing games. Everything runs quite smoothly. It has great service on calls and texts. I love the slim design with the large screen. I went in and set all my personalized settings like ringtones and vibrations, brightness, and setup all my apps that i wanted downloaded. Everything was easily done and up to par. Overall i really love the pixel 7 pro because of its canera quality.

I've recently upgraded to the Pixel 7, and my experience with the phone has been mostly positive. The Google Pixel series has always been a leading contender in the Android market, and the Pixel 7 is no exception. Let's start with the design - the Pixel 7 stays true to its minimalist roots, with a sleek, well-constructed design that feels both modern and robust. It's comfortable to hold, and its weight distribution is balanced, giving it a premium feel. The Pixel 7 continues to shine in the camera department, where Google's software prowess truly comes to the forefront. The quality of images, especially in low light conditions, is simply astonishing. The camera software is robust, with features like Night Sight and Super Res Zoom continuing to impress. One of the most significant enhancements has been the introduction of Google's custom chip. I've noticed a marked improvement in the speed and responsiveness of the device compared to previous generations. Apps load faster, multitasking is smoother, and there is a noticeable improvement in battery life. Speaking of battery life, the Pixel 7's battery is long-lasting, allowing for heavy usage throughout the day without having to scramble for a charger. The fast charging feature is also incredibly convenient, giving a significant battery boost in a short period. The phone runs on the latest version of Android, which, combined with Google's clean UI, delivers a smooth and intuitive user experience. Regular updates and the assurance of a robust privacy and security framework are additional benefits. However, the device isn't without its shortcomings. While the Pixel 7's display is vibrant and sharp, it doesn't quite match up to the highest-end competitors' displays in terms of brightness and color accuracy. Additionally, the lack of expandable storage could be a downside for some users. In summary, the Pixel 7 is a solid choice for anyone invested in the Android ecosystem. It offers an excellent camera, robust performance, and a clean, user-friendly OS. Although it has minor shortcomings, its strengths significantly outweigh its flaws, making it a worthy contender in the premium smartphone market.

As an iPhone user, I've always gravitated towards the Apple ecosystem. Blue bubbles, family pressure. It's all real. I've wanted to try a Pixel, but it never made sense. I have used Android in the past, but didn't have a great experience, so I stayed on the iPhone. After hearing all the good things with the Pixel 7, I had the opportunity to try the Pixel 7 Pro. Whoa...Android has come a long way. I immediately felt comfortable since I have Google everything, which cooperates with iOS, but is nothing like the Pixel integration. Of course, the first thing I tried was the camera. Whoa again, it's really good. I've had an iPhone 12 for 2 years, and I can't believe how far mobile cameras have come. I used to use an ancient Nokia N95 just for the camera. I then moved to a Nokia 1020; just for the camera. So both phone OSs ended up failing (Symbian and Windows Phone). iPhone after iPhone, the cameras improved to a point where the 12 was fine to keep for 2+ yrs. Back to the Pixel 7 Pro. I can't help but be lured away from the iPhone. Maybe it's because it's new. Maybe because of the Google integration. Whatever the case, I'm really enjoying it thus far. Camera speaks for itself, so here are some other thoughts. The actual "Phone" features are plentiful, which, honestly surprises me in 2022. Nobody uses the phone anymore lol. It has Call blocking, a feature called hold for me (phone literally takes hold music and lets you know when someone answers), call screening. I don't feel bad hanging up on telemarketers, I just have Google assistant answer. Apparently there is a feature that improves [blocking] background noise by using AI to counteract noisy backgrounds (noisy restaurant, etc.). Texting is a...different...now I'm green on iPhones. Guess what? I don't care anymore, but I do hate how low-res texting photos is. Honestly I'm tired of Apple and their continued stubbornness with iMessage lock-in. Maybe one day everyone can just use texting and have a good cross-platform experience. I'm never going to convert a lot of friends/colleagues to Whatsapp or something, so grainy video sharing it is, I guess. The screen is gorgeous. Nice and bright, even in the sun. Scrolling is smooth, and Android feels very fast, especially compared to my bad experience with an older Samsung. It's a thin phone and is absolutely slippery. I felt like I was going to drop it so I got a carbon-fiber case (Aramid, it's called). Amazon has them. I've attached a photo of my Pixel in the case. Nice and grippy. The voice memo app converts everything it hears to text in real-time. The timestamps when you tap a word match the audio being played, in-sync. The battery life seems to be great, but it is a brand new phone, so I haven't been able to test long-term yet. Maybe I was tired of iOS, or maybe Android has just come a long way. Whatever the case, I've been very happy with this phone and Android in general. I'm going to make the switch, honestly, despite the green bubble. I'm seriously impressed with the Pixel and look forward to using this phone more. I recommend it to anyone seeking a phone with an outstanding camera, slick and polished OS, and of course, being a phone. It isn't iOS, but like I said, I really don't care anymore. Needed a change and ended up regretting I didn't try the Pixel years ago. Unless there is an overlooked flaw I've missed, I am a fan of this device!

    My New Favorite Phone

Having used both iPhones and various Android-based phones over the past ~15 years, it is quite clear to me that I have found my favorite in the Pixel 7 Pro. Compared to other options out there, the price is competitive, and the performance is top-notch. Here are the things I liked most, along with some items to be mindful of. Pros: - First, the display is incredible. The 6.7” screen is much larger than any I have used before, but I welcome this larger size. As I advance in years and my vision isn’t as great as it once was, I found the extra real estate to be helpful, allowing me to increase font size a bit. The refresh rate peaks at 120Hz which allows for incredibly smooth performance. There is basically no bezel in the design of this screen and the curved glass edges make this phone a work of art. - Phone calls I’ve taken over the past week sound great over both 5G and 4G network connections. Prior Android phones I have used had low speaker volume on calls and I would often be forced to use the speakerphone feature in order to hear people. The Pixel 7 Pro was noticeably louder. - During phone set-up, I loved the walkthrough that the Google Pixel phone gives you to highlight some of its best features, including the ability to take high quality close-up photos, 10-bit HDR video, and the magic eraser tool to remove unwanted objects from pictures. This was a great way to introduce the Pixel to new users. - Battery life has been great. With moderate usage, I run it down to 30-40% daily and charge it just once per day. With fast charging it only takes about 30-45 minutes to top it back off. - Camera/video features are fantastic. My favorites were the 5x optical zoom, the on-screen leveling display to show you if your photos will end up crooked, and autofocus face detection. Low light capabilities were impressive too! Cons: - This phone is very slick and easy to drop without a case. Before the case I ordered was delivered, I dropped the phone a few times in my carpeted living room (1-2 foot drops, no damage). Being a larger phone, it is a little awkward to hold unless you have very large hands or have used large phones in the past. I highly suggest a textured case to improve your grip. The case I ordered (pictured) helped a lot and I have not had any issues since. - A USB-C charging cable was included, but no wall plug. You’ll need to buy your own if you don’t already have one. If you are looking to upgrade your current phone, the Pixel 7 Pro comes highly recommended from me. I’ve yet to see anything this impressive from top to bottom.

I’ll start by saying that I have had just about every high-end Pixel phone since Pixel phones have existed, apart from the Pixel 5, and I must say, this is by far the best. I know that every year the phones are supposed to be better than the last and it Is what is expected, but Google really did a great job with the 7 Pro. It feels more premium, looks more premium and operates more premium. The new tensor G2 chip packs quite the punch. Everything just feels more fluid, and smoother compared to last years Pixel. Google seems to have really invested more time into the attention and detail of what made the Pixel 6 Pro so great and ironed things out with the 7 Pro. The screen clarity and brightness, the chip, the camera. Not to mention the much-needed improvement to the under the screen fingerprint reader as well as the return of face unlock (finally!) The only thing I really feel Google truly needs to work on is battery life. Don’t get me wrong, you can get exceptional battery life with extreme battery saver mode, but I do not like having to sacrifice some features to get peace of mind for battery. It’s better than last year’s model, but I really hope we see a lot of effort next year with the next Pixel release. But hey, we are here for the cameras mostly, and oh my do they excel. Pixel has always been known for exceptional camera quality, but this year, WOW. With the introduction of Macro Focus, you can get truly incredible photos. I took some photos that you can see attached of tiny little mum flowers sitting outside my house, and I was blown away by the detail and water detail I was able to capture. Same with a leaf I took a shot of the veins of the leaf look insane. I can’t get over the detail this camera can get. It’s truly an all-in-one camera system, between Macro, Super Res Zoom, Cinematic blur, Photo unblur, there really isn’t a shot you can’t get with this system. Oh and, it is a phone after all. So, we are supposed to take calls and make calls, right? This must be the crispest sounding phone for taking calls. Things are so clear with no background noise, that I have to make sure I am even still on the call. If you’re a Pixel fan, android fan, and are unsure if you want to take the leap, do it, you won’t regret it. Any issues you may have had in last years Pixel or Pixels prior, forget the past and move on, because the Pixel 7 series feels like a fresh start in the right direction for the Pixel series.

Wow - What a phone! I have been using an iPhone for more years than I care to admit so I was not sure what to expect when switching to a "pure" android phone. It's intuitive enough that I barely had to think about anything. The setup wizard connected to my google account, walked me through importing contacts and that - was - that. I'm currently using this with T-mobile and Google FI at the same time thanks to support for 2 e-sims and one physical sim. Setting which carrier is preferred for outbound calls and to be used as the primary for data is simple and prompt driven. It's also easy to switch carrier preferences. I'm seeing data rates on the 5G network in the high 100's of Mbps. I have had no issues while traveling out of town with service. As someone who has not used an android phone in years - I expected this switchover to be cumbersome and that I would have to get used to a completely different OS. The reality was much simpler. The UI is polished and the phone contains no 3rd party launchers or per-installed carrier applications to get in the way of use. It made me realize how much "junk" is littering up my Samsung android tablet. Aside from being a flagship phone with the huge screen and all the bells and whistles - The camera and image processing on this phone is somewhere out in the realm of unreal. I intentionally took piles of "bad snapshots" just to see how much it can compensate. I tried every mode the wrong way, I filmed video while standing in the shade pointed towards the sun etc. . . . This is where this phone truly shines. While of course not every shot and video is picture perfect - the processing on this makes up for my misuse in ways I did not even expect often producing usable to brilliantly good photos where I absolutely did not expect them. What I love ! -Pure Bloatware Free Android experience -The best camera setup I have used to date ! -HUGE screen ! Not so great - -No Micro-SD card slot - buy the storage you need when you buy the phone. -No charger included - Just cables. Overall – This phone is epic ! I will be switching my wife and daughter to these shortly !
