The new Pisel 7 pro phone has a nice look and feel to it. Triple rear cameras take nice smooth and crisp photos when the camera loads up. After performing a security update the camera seems to take a bit to load up. Especially when switching from the rear camera to the front selfie camera, very laggy. Coming from a Samsung S22U, this pixel 7 pro feels slightly slower and not as smooth. I'm still getting used to the pixel swipe gestures, but it's overall easy to use and navigate. I find that the 128gb storage isn't going to be enough as my phone is already 40% full after transferring over my apps and contacts only from my S22U. Not a fan of the rear camera strip and how much it sticks out. I'm using Nova launcher and like it over the stock android launcher look and feel with vera icon pack. Google ecosystem is nice, but just looks plain to me with default launcher and skins. I wish that for the pro model the storage option was 256gb, as since most manufacturers are doing away with the micro SD card slot, 128gb just doesn't cut it anymore for the premium these phones run. I can see once summer arrives my phone will be filled with pics and videos. Google photos backup will be a must. The fingerprint scanner works great, but I don't like that the phone won't unlock from a black screen. You either need to lift it to wake, or tap the screen, or tap the power button to use fingerprint scanner to unlock. I haven't used or setup face unlock as it's not as secure in Google implementation of it. This supposedly support WiFi 6E, but when connected to my new WiFi 6E router it only displays wifi 6 connection whereas my S22U displayed it was connected to WiFi 6E. Maybe this can be applied in a future update by Google. Google assistant is nice and works flawlessly on this device, as I'm a heavy GA user and have many smart devices around my home. Wireless charging works nicely, as does wired fast charging, I haven't tried the reverse wireless charging as I don't use that feature ever. I do like that the phone has duel bottom speakers, and also uses the ear speaker as well when watching videos or playing music. Overall this is a great smartphone, and works as intended. Overtime it will be better perfected with updates

    Pixels Just Keep Getting Better

I’m writing this review from the standpoint of a long time Pixel owner upgrading to the newest model. I upgraded from the 6 Pro to this 7 Pro. You won’t find a huge difference between the two. That means the good news is that there’s practically no learning curve in the upgrade. Switching to the 7 Pro was effortless. I’m a T-Mobile customer, so I just swapped my old phone’s SIM card to the new phone. It’s easy (directions are all over YouTube) and it took about 30 seconds. I turned on the phone and it was automatically connected to T-Mobile. I was delighted to see how easy it was to transfer all my apps and settings to the new phone. It even swapped the ‘ring’ and my old ‘desktop for me; all my contacts and phone numbers too. Just connect the two phones with the included cable and follow the instructions on the display. It really is effortless. I was totally up and running with the new phone in less than an hour. There are noticeable improvements in the camera this year. The “Pro” pixel still has three different lenses, but the wide-angle one is wider, from 16mm to 14, and the telephoto is more powerful from 102 mm to 120, from 4x to 5x. That ultra-wide angle lens now has a really nice macro feature. At last you can get close-up on a small object like a flower and NOT receive the frustrating “move back” message as the camera tries to focus. I loved it. The Pixel’s AI features keep getting better too. The Night Sight mode is better than ever, sucking in more available light than before, and this year there’s an “unblur” feature, where the phone will try to remove accidental blurriness from a photo you’ve taken in the past. I had trouble trying this feature out, because the camera was so good, I didn’t HAVE any blurred photos. The new Pixel 7 Pro brings back the ‘face unlock’ feature from much earlier models for those who missed it. I didn’t turn it on because I think the fingerprint unlock is more secure. Also, whereas the fingerprint unlock feature could be sluggish on my old ‘6 Pro,’ I find it much improved on this new model. If your old phone did not have a ‘5G” capability, you’ll be blown away with the speed on your new Pixel. The bottom line is this: If you already have a Pixel 6 Pro, it’s up to you to decide whether its worth around 900 bucks to upgrade to the 7. Your current phone is still very serviceable and should keep you happy for another year. If you love Pixels and have an older model, it’s certainly worth it

    Pixel 7 Review

Great phone and design. If you have used Samsung Galaxy phones in the past, the Pixel 7 is a little different in its day to day operations. The volume buttons are reversed from the standard Galaxy phones where the volume buttons are on the top and the button to open the phone is underneath. For the Pixel 7 phones, the volume button is reversed from the Samsung design (Open phone button is on top and volume buttons are beneath. This will take a little getting used to. Battery life on the phone is not the greatest. The reviews say 24 hour battery life, but that is for a light user or on standby. My wife has to charge it mid-day, so hopefully a software update takes care of this. Photos and photo apps are great. The phone has 2 amazing photo features. The Magic Eraser that uses machine learning on a photo that you took and makes suggestions to remove objects or like a person who got in the picture when you took it and you want to remove them. This is an awesome feature to use! Next on the cool tool list, is the Unblur tool. It can take a blurry photo and correct it so the blurriness goes away. this works for the most part. Also, let's say a family member or friend has a photo that needs tweaking via the Unblur or removal of objects/people. You can have them send the photo(s) to you, you make the necessary cleanup, then you can send it back to them and viola, the perfect picture for them to treasure. How cool is that! Keep in mind that these (2) features are baked into the phone, so there is no need to download or pay for these features. Sound quality: Nice and loud speakers when you need it. If you are a bells and whistles type of person, then I recommend you get the Pixel 7 Pro. The phone really is designed for taking photos, hence the name of the phone. I hope this review helps you make a decision to buy any one of the Google Pixel phones. I hope this review helps you make the choice to buy a Google Pixel.

This is my new favorite Android phone out now. The Google Pixel 7 pro is great. I have experience with using Google Pixel phones , Samsung , Apple and etc and these days you can't go wrong at any price point. Big or small either . Their all good devices. So I like Samsung phones for their features on their UI but after using this phone for the past week almost I have found features that's great as well and is enough for me to switch. Inside the box you get the phone, USB type C to type C cable and an adapter USB Type A to Type C this way you can transfer to this phone from say another Pixel. This phone comes loaded with Android 13 which to be brutally honest just under the hood fixes over Android 12 but that's not a bad thing . The phone also comes with 12 GB of RAM, a QHD OLED screen at 6.7 inches as well. Also comes with three cameras a 48 megapixel telephoto lens , 50 megapixel wide and a 12 megapixel ultra wide lens . With googles computational photography this system takes some great pictures. It's basically stock Android with some Google goodies like live transcript, hold thing where the phone will tell you when you're no longer on hold and some sort of transcript of robo calls so you know the options before they ask . All in all it's the best Google pixel device to date .

Overall I enjoy this phone, snappy and takes really good photos. Not much more to say about it! The only negative is that it is buggy but that is a known issue. That being said, none of the bugs I've encountered have really caused any issues just annoying things.

Hadn't gotten a new phone in 5 years so it was definitely time for a ungrade. Love that I don't need to worry about charging my phone in the middle of the day. Great camera, was able to get some pictures of slugs without getting close!

I really like this phone. I'm moving my work phone which is a Samsung S20 to this device. I've noticed that the battery lasts a lot longer in the pixel 7, and the interface seems a lot more smooth. Camera quality on this is also stunning.

Several improvements of Pixel 6 weaknesses

It's really too early to review. I had a Pixel 6 and got a super deal on trade-in, otherwise probably wouldn't have made this purchase as the P6 to P7 transition does not justify a full price purchase. Compared to P6, P7 fingerprint sensor (FPS) seems to work better (it was a real problem on P6), battery life possibly shorter than P6 that wasn't great to begin with, does not randomly overheat like P6 (modem related), and fewer network disconnects requiring airplane mode fix. Also P7 has rudimentary face recognition that makes FPS performance less critical, however it does not work well in low light, unlike my iPhone 14PM FaceID which is far better. The highlight of P7 is the OS/software, get it for this if you prefer Android over IOS. Camera, like all Pixels, is pretty good. I don't go nuts over phone camera like so many others so I'll just state it is more than adequate for most still/video needs.

I was looking for a good reliable phone that was reasonably priced. At $499 this was an excellent price. I tried to buy locally but the staff member at the local Best Buy in Melbourne Florida had no interest in checking to see if he had any thing in stock he scrolled through a few pages on what looked to be a cell phone and declared that even though his device showed there was at least one phone in stock, that it always said there were items in stock but it was wrong and would not take the time to actually look. Fortunately, the phone was available at Bestbuy.com had the phone in stock and I r received it in 2 days.

The Pixel 7 is a great handset. I have the unlocked version. This is a premier device with a great camera - you can't beat the Google AI for making pictures turn out amazing! I love that with Pixel, I get the Android updates as soon as they become available and I like how easy my Pixel syncs with my other Google items like my Chromecast w/GoogleTV and my Pixel Buds Pro. My only duh is I should have bought the 256 version as I am taking so many pics and video I will have to monitor my storage in the future - maybe a good thing as I can be a digital hoarder. Enjoy this phone

Awesome display, Pure Stock Android (clean, no bloatware), perfect inhand size, brilliant cameras. But the mediocre battery just kills everything that is good about the phone. The Tensor chipset is really not well optimized for ensuring battery retention throughout the day, with amazing AI features the phone tries too hard to keep performing its duties & maintaining a all day long battery! STAY AWAY IF YOU ARE A HEAVY USER, for light users, its okish.
