I switched to Samsung for a while, but found myself missing the Pixel interface. Glad to have switched back. Fast, and great camera. No issues yet! I'm not sure the screen is really that much larger than the 7, but I do like the wrapped edges.

The excellent reviews are true. Crisp and clear screen. I bought it for the camera. Compared to my son's highly rated I phone 14, the pictures are equal to , or better. In door concert pictures came out perfect. Works extremely well in low light. Not a heavy user, battery life seems to be no problem. Well worth the money

I love this phone! This is my first time using a Pixel phone but surely won't be the last! The android version is great, no excessive bloatware, super fast and smooth, the display is amazing and the camera is awesome. Everybody wants me to take the pictures now.

Disappointing bugs from this indie company

I've been using a Samsung Galaxy S7 for years, and I wanted to see what the Pixel was like. I was thinking about getting the Pixel 6, but there were lots of reviews pointing out how buggy it was. The Pixel 7 seemed much improved, so I decided to try it out. The main thing that pulled me toward the Pixel was the camera. 5x zoom optical zoom seems more practical than 10x. The pixel also seems to have excellent night/low light photos, which my older Galaxy didn't handle well. I haven't had a chance to test this much, but I expect the camera to do well. Overall it took some getting used to navigating on the Pixel compared to my old Galaxy, but I've gotten used to it now. It feels pretty fluid and responsive. The extra screen size is nice, but this phone is huge compared to the S7. I think it's about a full inch longer on the diagonal. This is extremely noticeable with both the weight and the length. It's pretty difficult to use with one hand, but a textured case can help a lot. I have one with a groove in the middle of the back, and I can stabilize the both with one hand by placing a finger in that groove. I miss some of the stock Samsung apps, namely the Clock and Memo apps. These apps were way more capable than what Google offers. I found another note app that should work. The Pixel Clock app is pretty limited in customizing alarms, so I may look for a replacement later there as well. The main reason I give a low rating on this phone is I've already run into some buggy behavior. Recently, the camera refused to display anything on the screen, though it could still take photos. This seemed to go away after restarting the phone, but that was concerning. My BIGGEST gripe with this phone is the brightness adjustments. It's so buggy... I think I have a 20% chance of being able to adjust the brightness on any given attempt. I saw posts online saying this was linked to using the smallest display setting on the phone. I haven't messed with that yet. If Google ever releases a fix for this, I'll update from 2 stars to 4 stars. For Google's latest offering on their "Pro" model, I find this extremely irritating.

I have been a long user of android and pixel series. And this is the best pixel till date for sure. All the check boxes are ticked by this one. Really good build, awesome software experience, best camera, really good battery, etc. This is going to be complete game changer for Google in smartphone world. Loved it!

Best phone I have ever owned. Had a Samsung Galaxy S22 5G and it was a good phone but the new tech including the camera on this Pixel 7 Pro, photo zoom quality and options of pics surpasses anything I have owned. Being a google product, all your Google apps are ready to go right out of the box. Apps are smooth and lots of security features you will not appreciate because it happens in the background so you can concentrate on work or play. The only concern I have is how slippery the phone is in your hand and on most surfaces. I do highly recommend you purchase a google pixel case. Not too expensive if you go through the Google store.

Great cameras. Great battery. Great functionality overall. Screen is bright and clear. Only issues I’d report at this time are that the screen and beveled edges are EXTREMELY touch sensitive and often react before you want them to. Other than the physical interface learning curve, it’s a great phone.

11/2/2022 - I've been using the Pixel Pro 7 (Obsidian, 128GB Unlocked) for a few days, purchased from Best Buy. Really the only issue I have with the device is scrolling. It's jumpy and simply not smooth. I can power up any of my other Google phones and they scroll nicely. If this is a hardware issue, I'd like for Google to replace the device with a new one, not a refurb as this is a day 1 issue for me and I didn't buy a refurb. I think it will be fixed with a software update though. The biggest plus over my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra (Unlocked, 128GB model) is the spam call screening. What a world of difference. When my SIM is in my S22, spam calls come in nonstop. I have everything within settings checked to screen those calls. With the Pixel, the calls still show up in the call log, but they're properly screened and the scammers simply hang up, phone never rings. This, along with the night pictures is enough to keep my SIM in this phone versus the S22 Ultra, though from a software perspective there are a few things I prefer on the Samsung. Split screen is one of them. Also, the S22 Ultra does better with some pictures, but the same can be said for the Pixel 7 Pro.

I love the camera and speed of this phone, oh, and it makes calls well with good audio on both ends. My first new phone in 6 years, so much to like. I had to buy a case for this one as it was too slippery to hold securely. My old J7 did check email and messages more often, which I preferred.

Coming from the 6 Pro, I wasnt expecting a noticable difference but I was wrong. The improved speed, fluidity, better fingerprint sensor, face unlock, zoom, macro, cinematic video, stabalization, styling, beautiful screen, make it a worthy upgrade and quite simply, the best phone Ive ever owned. GET IT!!!

This phone is great all-around. Coming from a Pixel 5, it's a worthy step up. Great cameras, snappy, beautiful. Well worth it! Battery is amazing. Never gets hot. Never laggy and I have a ton of apps installed. Paired with a Spigen case and "soft" screen protector that hugs the curves. Love it.

I love my new Google Pixel 7 Pro. I debated on color between this and the white and purchased the Hazel. Love it!!! It's 10x nicer in person than it is in photos or videos. I absolutely love the typing feature for texting. I don't think you could find a phone easier to text with. It's actually fun. I've only just begun to learn about all it can do but the screen is super colorful and fun to look at and use. I'll be curious to see if the Google 8 Pixel Pro also has the waterfall edges. I can't decide if I like that or not. It makes it look pretty sleek, though. I really like shopping through Best Buy and we got a great price for this phone while it was on sale. Would highly recommend.

Phone is actually really good with the exception of the battery life. Doesn't last as long as I need it to, and I had to buy a 2nd phone for this reason. Where I work, I can't plug in a phone and wait for it. It will not charge in my brand new car. The battery just gets super hot. Other than that, it's a great quality phone. The camera is really good.
