Replaced my Samsung Ultra with the Pixel 8 Pro and I'm so happy with it. Runs everything very fast and the camera is amazing.

A little heavy. Wireless charging and large screen are great. I would recommend this phone to anyone who prefers Android phones.

Been with the google phones since Nexus 4. Extremely capable device with great camera. Glad they added a pro mode. Good battery and fantastic all rounder.

As someone transitioning from the Apple ecosystem, this phone is a great start. A lot of the Google functionality focuses on increasing Quality of Life experiences, particularly Google's call screening, automatic music identifier on the Lock Screen, and the timing of many schedules it learns (i.e. giving me traffic info for when I'm about to leave for work). Yes, some of these are already available on the iPhone and technology is starting to catch up or there are workarounds. The same could be said for going to Google. So on to other things I liked. Navigating the phone is very similar to the iPhone with one definite extra feature: Typically on Apple apps, swiping from the left is the gesture to go back. This does NOT transfer across all apps such as games. However, on Android, the back swipe is universal, which can provide small yet noticeable convenience (consider how many apps have their "back" button placed somewhere else on the screen outside of thumb's reach). Anyway, focusing back on the Pixel. Camera: If you ever do one of those photo comparisons and find yourself thinking they all look good enough for social media like Instagram, then you'll be fine with the Pixel. They say the camera is great. Personally, I feel it's a bit grainy in darker areas. Note that this is after pulling it off the phone and viewing them on a computer monitor. This is likely the most objective way of crudely comparing photos taken on the iPhone vs Pixel. Yes, it's good. Pro level? Hmm... you'll get by fine. What makes this phone fun are the AI features (although if it can go to Google's servers for processing, then I would guess Samsung phones could do the same). System processing/power: On the Pixel, there's something causing a little bit of stuttering. Maybe it's the transition between 1Hz to 120 Hz. However, I notice it greatly when attempting to play Pokemon Go. It's most notable on Reddit and the Play Store as well. At times, it'll be nice and smooth. Then suddenly, it will stutter and lag for a bit. It does so at random times that you cannot anticipate to become desensitize to it. It's not something I would expect on an $800+ phone. I would expect this issue on a midrange or a used up flagship Samsung from 4 years ago... so it's jarring to have it smooth like a current flagship with random moments of stutters. All in all, I enjoyed the phone. However, I returned it primarily because of reception issues. I have T-Mobile and live in Southern California. I'm not in the center of any metro/urban areas, more in the suburbs like Norwalk, San Gabriel, Diamond Bar, La Jolla, etc... reception is weak and troublesome to acquire, even after assistance with T-Mobile to try reprovisioning the network. Could it have been that I received a lemon? Seems a little hard to believe considering everything else worked fine. It just wasn't doing its most basic function: being a phone. Maybe Google will also account for better hardware by the Pixel 10 but for now, this phone isn't working for me. If you can get reception to work for you and don't mind the stuttering, this phone should work great for you.

Its honestly a premium top tier build phone. It really stands out with it smooth performance and camera quality. The best version of Android is the one that comes in Pixel.

Best and only Android phone in so many ways. I've had pixel since the 3rd and everyone has been perfect. Camera is always amazing and performance never lets you down.

AI power Photos app with the Tensor chip is a beast. You'd be getting your money's worth if you bought the combo offer and paired it with a Pixel watch. Curved edges are a good riddance. Face Unlock is not integrated with external apps and works really well from the previous 7 series(Still not as great as Apple's FaceID but I guess fingerprint does the trick for Pixel). If you enjoy haptics, then this is the best there is. Finally, they got a beautiful display to enjoy the visual content. Given how Android OS is built, they need to improve their battery performance. For regular folks, this shouldn't be an issue as it'll last a day.

Ome of the best screens on a mobile phone you will find. AI features are best in class. Camera is point and click and amazing and video is one of the best on a smartphone. Its fast animations are some of tbe best youll find. It's just a pleasure to use.

Upgrading from Pixel 7 Pro. Not regretting a bit. Somehow I feel 8 Pro is a much better built and comfortable to hold in the hand. Battery had been improved so far. Camera is KING.

Great phone, easy to use and has a lot of interesting features to be able to pair with other apps and general use. It was surprisingly easy to navigate to after using both Android and IOS phones in the past. I know it's an android OS but it has it's own layouts on things that are similar to both. My only gripe about the phone so far is the battery life. I don't use it extensively but the phone usually needs to be charged on a daily basis.

If you like to take photos this might be an excellent option. It’s easy to use and its design is perfect

Great phone, especially for the advanced camera and quality of the photos it takes. Screen is large and so far it has been an easy transition from an iphone.

Battery life is a touch better than the Pixel 6 Pro, and the screen is flat as opposed to curved sides. Doesn't seem as prone to overheating, but it does get warm in direct sunlight Fingerprint scanner is definitely worse than previous generations. Camera is the same. Decent phone for what it is, but only worth an upgrade from Pixel 4XL or Galaxy S20.

I'm deeply disappointed with my Pixel 8 Pro purchase from Best Buy. The initial allure of a seamless setup and impressive features, such as the large screen and robust performance, was overshadowed by significant issues. While the phone's battery life is claimed to last 24 hours, the reality is that it's only achievable with minimal use, a crucial detail not transparent during the purchase process. The emergence of network issues, requiring manual flight mode switches, added to my frustrations. To compound matters, when I reached out to Best Buy within the 14-day return policy after Google confirmed a bug, seeking a replacement due to the faulty device, my experience took a disheartening turn. Despite being well within the warranty period and overseas for a personal matter, I requested an extension for the return period. Unfortunately, Best Buy refused to honor my request, displaying a disappointing lack of understanding and flexibility. Now, I find myself stuck with a pricey device that falls short of expectations, regretting my decision to choose Best Buy for this purchase. The combination of a faulty device and unsatisfactory customer service has left me feeling thoroughly upset and questioning the value of my investment.

The best Pixel to date in my opinion. Battery life could be better though but I'm sure thats fixable with future software updates. Camera is great! Screen is awesome. Speakers could be louder as well. Overall, I'm happy with it.

Faster, smarter and more user friendly than my old phone. Been using it for two (2) weeks now. I will definitely stick with Google phones from now on.
