Great phone. The camera takes amazing photos, and the screen is super bright and clear. It's also really fast and smooth to use. However, the battery doesn't last as long as I'd like, and the Wi-Fi can be a bit hit or miss. Overall, it's a great phone.

I was skeptical about moving to the P8P. After having it for a full week, I can definitely say it edges the P7P by a few things. 1. The screen is better. 2. The processing power is better. 3. AI is taking over the phone. In a good way. 4. The camera has more options and seems slightly better. Now the battery life seems about the same as the previous model. Overall, if you are coming from any phone other than P7P it's totally worth it!!

Really impressed with how good the photos are taken with the night setting. I can barely see what's in front of me but once the photo finishes, what's in the picture is very clear without any editing. It's a really solid phone with great everyday features. It's not a gaming phone, but it does a good job of being easy to use for the everyday person. I'm loving the watch it came with as well, it's been great motivation for me to work out!

Great camera, works very well over all. I wish they would stop trying to push for face unlock when it doesn't work at all in low light though. The fingerprint unlock works better but it's no replacement for the ultrasonic rear fingerprint readers which seem to have gone out of style for no reason. The display is ridiculously bright which I love especially with sunglasses on in the car for navigation purposes and just taking pictures in general you can really see what you're doing in bright light. No/low bloatware. I don't really think this is intended as a gaming device so I haven't bothered to comment on that. Battery lasts at least a day for my typical use case which mostly browsing/videos

    Best Pixel so far

The Pixels 3 and 4 were my favorite Google phones before the 8 Pro. I'm loving this one so far. The screen is bright and vivid (and finally flat!), the bezels look symmetrical. The cameras are amazing. Battery life hasn't been that great. I usually have to charge it before the end of the day. And the thermometer sensor on the back is useless to me. Seems like they decided to add just as a gimmick to differentiate the pro from the regular 8, in order to justify the $300 price difference. Still 5 stars in my opinion.

I bought the Google 7 solely because I required a camera phone I could use at art gallery events and opening nights to do portraits and photos of the art work and send instantly without having to get into the apartment and edit and send. The quick and done kind of photo. Went from the Samsun S21 to the Pixel 7. Wasn't into upgrading, not wanting to spend the extra but the next features of the camera, software, I went for the Pro8. It is an excellent camera, software is still a little lackluster in comparison to what Google will tell you when it comes to the magic erase but the level of detail in photographs (I'm a professional portrait and fine art photographer) is astounding. The zoom feature, excellent. Low light, excellent. Portrait, excellent. I am at a show and now people ask me to photograph them using my phone and send it. I can deliver instantly. It's rather cool. Obviously this isn't a Canon R5 but for what it is, it's astonishing. Phone side it's perfect in the hand, screen is clear, bright, everything except the update to Android 14 (which has stopped me being able to send text photos and gifs, could be me and settings) is superb and even with all it can do it retains a very basic feel. I don't like tech I have to study and learn about I like tech I can use straight off and then find surprises later. I got to write again, the feel of the phone in the hand is really good better than any other phone I've used.

The pixel 8pro is a significant upgrade from the 7pr0. Get camera features and even better video recording. The fact that this comes with a free pixel watch 2 was such a great deal not to get. If you have the money get one now.

Battery life is much better than the Pixel 7 Pro which im super happy about. Etched glass back is nice in the hand the the build quality feels great. Google software is top notch and i believe is the closest thing you can get to Iphone on android in terms of style and cohesion. Everything comes together amazingly to make an amazing phone that i would highly recommend.

I just bought the Pixel 7 Pro a year ago and did not expect to upgrade so soon...but with the pre-order promotion it was a no-brainer. I'm thrilled with the 8 Pro, and feel like it's worth the upgrade even from the 7 Pro. I really like the flat front screen and the cameras are even better with this version. The screen is crazy bright and it's the best Pixel yet!

So far this phone has exceeded my expectations. Upgraded from a Google Pixel 6 pro and comparatively most of the bugs that were noticable have been ironed out. Very responsive screen, impressive battery life so far, excellent camera and camera features, and the flat screen feels much better to use than the older rounded edges. Definitely recommend this phone. Cat photo to show medium to low-light photo capabilities.

If you are a Pixel fan then this is the one to get. It is better in every way compared to the 6 and 7 Pros. It takes great pictures and the pixel specific features like call screen and hold for me are great. Battery life is finally a plus on a Pixel. It will last me all day with no issues.

Google Pixel 8 Pro - Must Have Phone

I recently purchased the Google Pixel 8 Pro, transitioning from my trusty Google Nexus 6P that has faithfully served me for 8 years and counting. As a dedicated user of Google products, I am particularly impressed with this new addition. The device exudes a premium feel, and the operating system is smooth and seamless, characteristic of Google phones. Though it's only my first day using it, I can already express satisfaction with the audio quality, call performance, and LTE signal strength—everything I've tested so far meets the high standards I expect. The phone is highly recommended for those seeking a clean OS experience devoid of bloatware, coupled with outstanding camera quality. As a bonus, I pre-ordered the phone and received a Pixel Watch 2 (Wi-Fi version), adding an extra layer of delight to the purchase. Perhaps Best Buy could consider offering options for upgrading to the LTE version and selecting strap colors, similar to what the Google Store provides. My overall buying experience at Best Buy was truly exceptional.

For me this is near perfect flagship android phone. The hardware quality is much improved over previous generations. I was coming from a pixel 6. The photos and AI are top notch. I really have no complaints and has a very long update cycle. Hopefully the battery and internals have longevity.

Love the color. Love the phone! I have had The Pixel 2 XL, pixel 5, Pixel 7 pro and now the 8 pro. I love the simple user interface that is not loaded up with tons of apps. They keep it bare and minimalistic allowing the user to customize and add the apps that they care to have. Resin loading your phone down with tons of stuff you can't remove and it just eats up your ram. I obviously love the camera and is running a big reasons that I use pixel phones. My only gripe is really the fact that Google owns Chromecast so it really only communicates with Chromecast. For instance, my samsung tablet doesn't have any loyalties towards Alexa or Chromecast so it's easy to cast my tablet screen to pretty much any other display. This is however not a huge deal and most smart devices will work with either or so. Don't let that truly deter you just keep in mind. I do love Samsung devices for the tablets but I find that there's no reason for me to have two of every single app and since I'm already a Google photo and YouTube user then there's no reason to have all these Samsung services as well. This is why I will always stay away from Samsung phones and why I will only buy Samsung tablets for now because they are by far the best you can buy for Android.. At least that is my opinion. :-)

Never was one for a"pro phone"but decided to upgrade my 6 to the 8 pro and my oh my oh how i was so wrong.im absolutely speechless by what this camera and ai can do and I wasn't much of a power user or heavy user but the amount of battery life I have gotten is amazing. I can last a whole day and up until 10:30 or 11:00 I'll be left with 30%. Absolutely astonishing!!

I purchased this device after trading in an iphone 13 pro that belonged to my wife as she wanted to transition to an android. I recommended that she start with a Pixel device as I've read that its a much easier transition than going straight to another android device. I had already done plenty of research on this phone prior as it was one I was considering myself, and seeing her use it has been very interesting. The screen is very vivid and colors pop, it's very smooth and one of the things that really impressed me was the camera. I'm not a person who cares about the camera on the phone as I just need it to work and be good enough, but this phone really knocks it out of the park with how good the pictures. look. All in all, the phone has exceeded both of our expectations and for the price we got it, can't complain.
