I am writing this review with extreme dissatisfaction and utter frustration regarding the Google service warranty on my Google Pixel 8 Pro. This phone, which I purchased less than a year ago, has completely failed. Following Google's instructions, I took my Pixel 8 Pro to an authorized repair shop as it was still under warranty. The shop's initial attempt to fix the issue involved replacing the battery, which proved unsuccessful. The next step was a motherboard replacement. This process has now dragged on for a MONTH. A MONTH without my primary work phone. When I contacted Google customer support to request a replacement device, given the egregious length of the repair process, I was met with complete indifference and bureaucratic nonsense. They informed me that because I purchased the phone through a "third party," my warranty had supposedly "expired" and I was told to deal with them instead. This is unacceptable. Let me be clear: I have been a loyal Google customer for many years, and I have always been a vocal advocate for Pixel phones. This experience, however, has completely shattered my trust in Google's products and their customer service. The Pixel 8 Pro, in my experience, is nothing short of a poorly made product. The warranty service is a joke, and Google's customer support is a labyrinth of bureaucratic excuses. I am done. I will be switching to Samsung. I should have listened to the numerous warnings about the Pixel 8 Pro. **DO NOT BUY THE GOOGLE PIXEL 8 PRO. You will regret it.** Google's warranty is worthless, and their customer service is a disgrace. Avoid this phone and this company if you value your time and money.

No issues with the pixel 8 pro. I would say if you have a pixel 7 then upgrading to the 8 pro may be overkill unless you want the extra camera/video features.

Phone is amazing, service was not. They disconnected my old phone and didn't tell me, just did to switch SIM cards when I was ready. Went back in and the gentleman was to busy to even acknowledge me or offer assistance. The store didn't have a case or screen protector in stock and didn't even offer when they would have one in. Not impressed with customer service at all. Felt like going to Verizon or AT&T instead of the more personal service as advertised.

Great device. arrived in excellent condition with all parts included in the box.

Battery not so great drain the battery at the lowest setting for display screen unresponsive

If you noticed an advertisement that Google is offering a free trial of YouTube/Fitbit Pro/Google One don't be deceived. I bought a Pixel 8 Pro and after a lengthy support request conversation and escalation they proved that I was not eligible for this perk as I had used a 1 month trial within 3 years. Their customer service is cheaper than the cheapest of any service I ever used. Stay away from all Google products in general, not just Pixel 8 Pro. I was a fan of Google when I used Pixel 7 Pro, but now that I experienced their cheapness I will not even trust them with a screen protector. I believe a product is not just the hardware, it also includes quality of service.

Phone is very buggy. Touch screen is inaccurate and sometimes just unresponsive. Fingerprint scanner and using a code to sign in is very clunky. The phone seems to lag and lock up regularly. Missing apps that are useful that come on Samsung phones and replacement from the Google store all have ads. Poor video support through usb-c port. I always used the budget Samsung phones and never had any issues with the A series. I wish I had never tried the Pixel 8 Pro. I am leaving this review to hopefully warn some people. The specs seem good but this phone is awful. I go out of my way to avoid typing on it.

Great looking phone and really cool features. However the phone is VERY glitchy. I have been team Google for Many years but I have to say. I'm starting to think maybe it's time for Apple. Googles customer service and all around process is just terrible. Very complicated and not seem less in ANY way.

Pretty big disappointment, this so the slowest charging phone I have ever owned even using fast chargers it takes hours to fully charge and even after the battery life is abysmal and seems perpetually warning it's down to 20% , the operation is also buggy. I was borderline line between buying this and the OnePlus 12 and now wish I could exchange for the later after a few weeks of ownership. Over all just a disappointment for all the hype

Camera glass broke in 1 week. Never dropped or otherwise harmed, but Google refused to cover it under warentee. This same problem is reported by many users online. Returned item to Best Buy and got a Samsung phone, which has been excellent.

This phone is a piece of sh!+. It will constantly ask me to enter my pin for additional security. This bug needs to be fixed.

Great device ,DO not buy at best buy tho, google has FAR better trade in deals...
