Upgraded from the 7 Pro. Trade-in + watch made it worthwhile. That, and with ample years of updates I can sit on this one a while. So far so good. Love the phone-watch combo. No more missed calls or important messages! Health tracking coming in handy as well. The phone physically feels better in the hand. The screen is flat, and brighter, making it better for outside. It also has better brightness levels in low-light. My 7Pro would always get too dark and I'd have to adjust. Overall a snappier experience and the new cameras, and Ai options are great! Very happy with the upgrade.

Battery life is a touch better than the Pixel 6 Pro, and the screen is flat as opposed to curved sides. Doesn't seem as prone to overheating, but it does get warm in direct sunlight Fingerprint scanner is definitely worse than previous generations. Camera is the same. Decent phone for what it is, but only worth an upgrade from Pixel 4XL or Galaxy S20.

Camera is top of the game, it's fast, android 14 is very polished and the AI feature are mind blowing. I come from the P7P and it's a big improvment.

I love this phone it's way better than my 15pro was and the camera is better. Also it's faster then my iPhone was not a single regret.

Pixel phones take great photos, and an all-day battery (depending on usage).

From the smooth and textured back of the Phone to the rounded corners, which is an update really, and gives it a nice feeling that you wouldn’t get on a pixel before it being so squarish that’s on the previous models, of course. I’ve taken a lot of pictures with it, and I must say it is one of the best camera phones on the market. Google is done it again. I would highly recommend a pixel eight pro, or even the pixel eight, which I’ve used that belong to an associate, well worth the money, not overly expensive, just a great piece of hardware .

Coming from the P6 Pro, the best part about this phone is the flat screen. Battery is also much improved. Display is also high quality.

If your a Pixel/Nexus regular, this phone will feel familiar, but better. If you're new to Pixel phones, or Android in general, this phone will feel like a nice change of pace. Lots of great software, good hardware features, and the camera system continues to set the standard for any smartphone. I do appreciate the direction they are taking with the video, though still behind Apple in that regard. The AI in this phone is incredible, you will not believe all the features and magic that this phone does for you in everything!

If you are wanting to use Android (and quite frankly, if you are tech-adept you should) then this is the phone to get. Google really hit it out of the park with this phone. There are many nice features with Android 14 that are only available on the Pro and not on the Base 8 model that make the higher price worth it. The battery really does last all day. Also 7 years of Android version support (!). Highly recommended.

I’ve never been a fan of android phones but I think Pixel is the way to go in the Android world. Great camera and smooth software

Pros: This phone works great with large, and high refresh rate display. It has fast and secure facial and fingerprint authentication. Excellent charging speed and finally the camera is out of the world(takes great pictures). It better than Iphones Cons: Battery life is average for me but I have a heavy user. but compared to Iphones the battery has held good.
