The phone is nice, I'm not very tech savvy, so there are a lot of functions I'm still trying to get used to. A digital owners manual would be nice for reference. I don't have a clue to do all the fancy photo editing as seen on tv, but the operating system is pretty quick, just taking some time to learn how to navigate quickly & efficiently.

Phone is what you expect, I have two phones and android system in terms of voice to text is superior to iPhone. The downside of this phone is that it feels slippery in the hands, and the zoom for one of the lenses makes a noticeable noise and raises concerns for me and is top heavy phone slightly more.

Would recommend if you are heavily using the phone all the time. You will have a great experience using the screen smooth and super bright. Speaker is above average will distort at high volume. Good battery can last all day.

Switched from a Motorola bought at least 4 years ago, to the Google pixel 8, most of the features are similar but this having the magnetic charge and finger print scanner on top of a faster processing speed make it well worth the upgrade.

I purchased the phone expecting to love it as a replacement for my s22 that I dropped. I could not wait to get back to a pure android phone, as Ive been with samsung for some time. I disliked nearly everything about it. Gestures suck, but you can turn them off. The virtual buttons are nearly as good as the ones on samsung oneUI. The camera was OK, but not close to as good as the old phone. The phone is not as snappy and fast as the old one. The finger print scanner was more finicky. No folders in the all drawer. No network drive mapping in the included file manager. In general, a lackluster phone free of nice features, for nearly the price of the superior competitors. I returned it. With samsung credits got a new s24 ultra for less. The pixel feels very undet developed for being in generation 8.

This is a great phone with a ton of features. I previously had a Pixel 6 Pro and this is a huge upgrade. There are so many new features that make it the most advanced phone on the market. In addition you get the latest Android OS which adds many new features.

Good incremental upgrade to an already great device. Unfortunately still suffers with video stutters while recording. Really wish there could be more enhancement in the video department overall. Processor definitely needs large steps ahead to be flagship competitive. Can't find much else wrong with it.

Best Pixel so far. I stick with the Google phones as I like the clean android experience and ecosystem. As such, I get one every couple of years. So far this is the best one and performs as I would expect.

Upgraded from the Pixel 7 Pro. Cell network connection is vastly improved, no more lost network connection. That alone was worth the upgrade, and then you throw in a free Pixel watch as a preorder bonus. Definitely worth it. Team Pixel everyday.

So far so good. Came from a galaxy note 20 so this is an upgrade all around. There are lot of useful features. I don't game on my phone so could not weigh in on that aspect but that seems to be the biggest complaint I have seen with this phone.

We bought it as a gift for my son to replace a Samsung phone. He loves it. Amazing AI capabilities! I feel jealous as of the iPhone 15 Pro owner. I think the Pixel 8 Pro looks better, and it is better!

The pictures are amazing. However after 6 months I had pixels go dead on my screen. I sent in my phone and had a very quick turn around from Google. I just got my phone back and now I'm having trouble exiting apps from the edges. I use a screen protector (and have screen protector mode enabled) and a minimal phone case. And it won't exit apps. I'm very disappointed in the amount of money I've spent on this phone compared to the amount of energy I've had to put into using it
