Does not compare to other flagships in terms of overall specs. Overall speed, connectivity, and battery life are okay at best. Packs some cool camera features (with the promise of more to come). The price increase over the previous model is a disappointment. Hopefully Google honors it's promise to add additional features and to provide 7 years of OS updates, but it's Google, so I'm not holding my breath

Great phone so far, love that the screen in flat instead of how it used to be curved on the 7 pro.

I read a lot before buying this phone. I had the Google 6 with the beta os and I liked it. I actually like the size of that phone better...but I digress. The Pixel 8 Pro is simply the best phone I have ever had. It just works the way you think a smart phone should work. I've had the Google 3, 6 and now the Pixels 8 Pro and it's a great phone. I highly recommend it for purchase. You will not be disappointed.

Feels like a step down from Samsung, can't move the Google search bar to the top, etc, it's okay overall, great camera.

My last pixel was the 2, went through different phones, then now back on the Pixel 8 pro, works great so far.
