I came from Xiaomi, and iPhone is very locked for me, Pixel came as an alternative, camera is awesome, phone is very fluid, only weak point, the battery could be better.

Great phone, amazing camera! Not sure how common this issue is, but this is my second phone because the screen died on my first one. I dont mind the black color, but i loved the porcelain colorway. But when i had to exchage, that was the only one available:(

The phone was great but lacked an important feature I use on Samsung phones, so I returned it. Pros: display (vivid and sharp), ease of transition (everything on my old phone was uploaded by Google onto my new phone flawlessly). Cons: no app security vault, no side panel quick access (both of which are available on Samsung). I thought there would be a third-party apps locker similar to Samsung's Knox Vault, but none of them were anywhere close to what Knox offers (which is only available on Samsung phones). If Google had a similar app -- that allows me to put my financial apps behind a secure firewall -- then I would have kept the Google Pixel. And, yes I am aware of the Google secure folder, but that does not protect apps, only files. I did not have the phone long enough to evaluate the battery life or processing speed.

Screen quality is on par with Apple and the camera is stunning.AI in phone, that is awesome, apple might have been the revolution in the smart phone but Google is going to be revolution in the AI smartphone.

I have already using a pixel phone 3xl. There are lots of improvements when upgrading to pixel 8 pro. The pick up process took only 5 minutes at best buy store. Friendly welcome. Great purchase.

Great phone. A heavier build than the pixel 7 pro. Good battery life and decent charge rate. Does not come with a charge box type C. Great deal with the watch includes. Make sure to back up everything if you don't trade in

I got a sweet pre-order deal trading in my 7 pro getting free google watch 2. Screen is much brighter and camera is improved a lot. Battery life is about the same. I'm happy so far

Great specs, I believe it's the best one around. The camera in particular is great and for the first time makes me wonder if my reflex cameras are still required.

Ive been daily driving the pixel series since back when the original Pixel phone came out. Since Google jumped into the premium phone market with the Pixel 6 Pro back in 2021 I've been left wanting more from google. Whether or not it was due to Google's Material UI having just too many bugs during daily use, the battery life being anything but stellar, or just the time it took for their amazing AI to spruce up a picture I just took. All of that is so much better here in the 8Pro. Along with the matte glass on the back this phone is defintely a perfect jumping in point for users looking to switch to THE most premium Android experience.

Camera seems good, phone is not intuitive, especially coming from a Samsung, you have to relearn how to do things. The color schemes are awful, all muted dull colors, nothing bright and cheerful.

Pretty good phone so far. Some games being played don't work properly unless you clear the cache and spam the volume button on start up. Camera is great.

Love the phone even more then the Samsung 24. Give it a try if your an android person.
