I am still learning this wonderful phone that takes excellent pictures. I am 78 years old so some of the new ways of understanding is a little confusing to me but I will get it. I have not had a new phone for 7 years. I love how quick it is and how google understands what I ask it to do.

This phone helped me survive in Japan with me having only knowing the words "NANI" and "arragato." The battery lasted the entire day and more while running multiple apps including Pokemon go. The phone does get a little hot, but just get a good case to not notice it as much. The camera zoom can help me read words from far away I cannot see with my own eyes.

    From Samsung to Google Pixel

I moved from being a Samsung user (3 Samsungs in a roll), it's been a good move. I love the Google Pixel camera. I like the change in the system, it's similar enough but different. However I believe there are a bit more features that the Samsung has like creating folders for your apps, the 3 main buttons on the bottom (easy to go back, clear, etc), just to name a few.

Beautiful and works well too. I traded in my pixel 7 which was just ok for this. The Pixel 7 ran hot and battery life was not as good as my pixel 5a. So far I've had none of those problems with Pixel 8 pro. Just very smooth and a delight to use. Even got my son to trade his 7 in for the pixel 8. We are both much happier.

Using this phone more than two weeks. The most Advanced software, very good camera and tone of photo/video features are the few of the good points of the phone. Feel and finish is very nice. Hardware is good too, mainly Tensor G3 chipset handles AI and Machine Learning capabilities very well. Don't see heating issue so far.

This phone has the best camera quality now you could ask for. The haptic feedback is amazing. The phone is so responsive and accurate with text to speech. There is so much customization with this phone and I'm glad I chose to get the Google pixel 8 pro

Not having the excess "Bloatware" is a great. I still prefer my old Samsung S10+ to the Pixel 8 Pro. Great pictures though. I hate the volume for voicemail is absurdly low no matter how high you turn up the volume. I don't know if I will purchase another pixel. Small issues that get frustrating.

Google seems to have upgraded the materials used in making the device, as this one just feels extremely premium. The OS has been refined along with the hardware, including the camera. Pictures are incredible, and the onboard editing software is the best available and easy to use. Trade in an old one for a great price.

I really love the native Android interface and the small touches that Google includes. It is fast, wonderful camera, and I like the style. Compared with Samsung’s OneUI 6, native Android just isn’t as great. There are a lot of ease-of-use features miss compared to Samsung (and Apple’s fantastic iOS).
