Absolutely cannot stand this phone! It continually freezes up and no matter how I tap it will do nothing until I restart the phone. There are other times when it becomes so sensitive it launches into a site or especially ads while being in my pocket and not being touched. The volume is not great for playing music, overheats easily as does the charger, and all around is a complete pain in the neck due to the multiple aggravating issues. Would never buy again!

disappointing. freezes multiple times and ive only had it a couple of weeks. cleaned up all my apps, I don't use the phone heavily, no gaming, etc. only a cold restart works to get it back started again. ill be sending it to google, switching to my old phone and shopping for a new one. too expensive and new to be having all of these crashing issues.

Darn thing was so slippery I lost it 2 days after buying, while in Japan! Slipped right out of my hand on to the train tracks

Terrible. Purchased December 23, 2024. Phone bricked on May 14, 2025. Didn't even last 6 months. I reached out to Best Buy for assistance and they were no help. Referred me to the manufacturer. Would have hoped Best Buy would stand behind a product they sold me for $400 for longer than 4 1/2 months.

Overheating in Instagram. The phone is not good if you want to use it alot, if you want to be in a Instagram call o playing videogames for a long time its not your phone

before buying this I had a Pixel 4a for 3 years and really liked it..also liked Android 12 alot. buying this phone was a big letdown. first setup was difficult due to some lousy OS defaults including display settings; once that was fixed I noticed the screen sensitivity was 'off' and I had texting issues...had to resort to swiping the keyboard instead; Android 14 has been a real pain - some settings were reset during install of a security patch which is pretty bad; I'm also having some password issues with the Play store after the most recent update

Lousy connections. Overbearing Google dictates witch browser you use (can't disable Chrome) or you're penalized via no notifcations/ problems conducting phone calls, etc.. See YouTube review: Google Pixle 8a by Beebom. Shows meters measuring connectivity multiple locations: connecting is patchy and rate only 25% capacity of his other 2 year old phone. Says "ton of isssues." I'll look into returning it.

Very disappointed with this new Pixel 8a. It overheats a lot, especially when your hotspot is active, the battery doesn't last long, and it takes forever to charge. I checked several times, and the charging progress stuck on the same percentage when I left it connected to the charger while using the hotspot connection in another device. Plus, the back of the phone is made of plastic,
