I love Pixel phone and I think this one is the favorite so far... Love the color green that I picked. Super easy to use. Fits in all of my pockets perfectly. Taking photos is my favorite. The picture quality is amazing

Worth the price with great promotion from best buy. There are trade offs for the price but the software is the best you can get. Very compact size and easy to hold. Good enough battery life for normal users

The phone works great overall. I love the size and the speed. The keypad and fingerprint are a little off at times. Some of the Google features are not preset and you have to go search for them. Camera is great, but sometimes zoom looks weak. Battery could be a little better.

Good phone with horrible deal breakers

This phone feels great on the hands, it resemble a lot the handling of an iPhone, it is small, round and soft, it feels great. The display is sharp, bright and color accurate, the battery life is good, the internet speed antenna is good, never a dropped call, and the media sound quality is excellent when connected to headphones or my car audio, also the phone own speakers are great too, they sound big and whole. My only gripes with this phone for which I am getting rid off it, the memory ram management, if you switch from one app to the next, it has to reload every app, it doesn't hold anything in memory. For example, if you have google maps going, taking you to an address, and you minimize it to open youtube, when you go back to google maps, you will find that it got shutdown and you have to renter the address and start the navigation again. Very frustrating. The worse of the gripes is its face recognition and horrible finger print reader, there is no easy way to authenticate and get into your phone, it is a frustrating struggle to open this phone because it fails every time to read your face or your finger print.

Google pixel 8a is a fantastic phone. I highly recommend it. You can't go wrong with this choice. Gameplay is phenomenal, camera is spectacular, AI features is super cool, and all the extra stuff built in the phone is ground breaking next level. Thank you Google for making this supreme device. I love it so much.

Dropped Pixel 8a at Thunder Mountain onto tracks..

As soon as I buckled myself into the ride, I felt my cell phone slide out of my pocket. I quickly grabbed it and threw it between my legs until I could adjust but it slipped through and went directly down the only open portion of the floor and ended up on the track of Thunder Mountain railroad at Disneyland. When I got home, I tracked my phone and saw it was still on the ride. I rang the phone remotely prior to park open and at close to increase chances of staff finding during walking the track. They did!!! I can't imagine how many rail cars ran over that thing ... THANK YOU!

Owned this phone for a year before upgrading to a Pixel 9a on a great promotion. 8a did everything I asked of it with few/no disappointments. Fluid display; plenty bright in all but the most intense conditions. Captured some great low light pics along with the usual fare of daylight snaps. Phone (app) worked perfectly with decent reception in 'weak' coverage areas and no complaints on audio quality. I don't game or use a ton of apps; that said, never experienced a device related issue in that area. Ok battery life with modest use; always made sure a portable battery was available when travelling as not confident phone would last a fully day with heavy use. Plan on a couple hours (preferably overnight) charging. Overall a fine mid-range phone that should satisfy the needs of most users. Just need to pick it up at the 'right' price to complete the value equation.

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Phone – Google Pixel 8a

I’ve been using the Google Pixel 8a for a while now, about 6 months, and I’m really impressed with how well it performs. The phone feels fast, smooth, and reliable in everyday use. The display is bright and sharp, and the touch response is excellent. The camera is amazing, especially for the price — photos come out crisp and natural, even in low light. I also love the AI-powered features, like photo editing and call screening, which make the phone feel really smart and useful. Battery life easily lasts all day, and it charges pretty quickly. The clean Android experience with direct updates from Google is another big plus — no unnecessary apps or bloatware. The design is sleek and comfortable to hold, and the build quality feels solid. Overall, the Pixel 8a is a great value for the money — perfect for anyone who wants flagship-level performance without the huge price tag. Highly recommended!

Overall this is a solid phone, but after getting a chance to use it for a few weeks I likely would return it and wait for the next pixel release if I didn't already trade in my 6a. It is very similar to the 6a in terms of experience. Camera seems great and I'm looking forward to the extended support from previous iterations of pixels. I think the screen is a step down from the 6a in terms of responsiveness (occasionally clicks will not register in games where i have tap quickly or on small locations) and the fingerprint reader (its not as accurate as the 6a was and i frequently have to use the code). The AI features don't particularly interest me at this point.

    Great mid-range Android phone

This phone sets the standard for the mid-priced android category. It has nearly everything the Pixel 8 has, but starts at $500 and often has extra discounts or trade-in allowances, making the phone 1-2 hundred cheaper. It the smaller form factor I'm looking for, and easily handles 1 day of heavy use, or 2 days of regular/light use. Phones like this have convinced me that is just not worth spending $1,000+ on a phone. The black is the standard color you expect it to be. It is somewhere between black and dark grey. The picture on my monitor is pretty accurate to what you see in person.

I love my Google Pixel phone. One of the best bang-for-the-buck options out there. If you are an android user or looking to switch from the overpriced Apple product line, this should be looked at. The camera is great. While this model is slightly older now, it still looks and works great for everything you should need it for.

This phone is excellent, Way better than the moto phone I had prior and was reasonably priced. The staff at my local beast buy were kind, helpful and quick and the product works well. The phone has nice camera, fast speeds while changing screens and apps and also a few accessablities features that help me that I have never seen Before.

very good for price. had it like 7 months and no problems . i got this phone because my old phone wouldn't run. Arena breakout, a game. I like to play well and all so I ordered this phone because of all the good comments and reviews that it had underneath it for the speed that it played games and everything else and come to find out that those reviews were correct. Because this phone is very fast, it's very reliable. I love the different kinds of features it has on it for with Google, and all that like 10 out of 10 would recommend Getting this phone or a google pixel at all in general

I was a little hesitant due to some negative reviews about connection problems. However this phone works well in an area with weak Verizon signal. Very fast and good battery life. Very pleased with Best Buy open box deals.

First off the phone feels great the color is just right. The phone feels good to hands and doesnt feel too big at all. The touch screen works perfectly and that 120hz refresh rate does wonders even though you have to go in the settings and turn it on. The set up was easy although it took a while as it was ios to android . The phone has many features which are found on much higher end phones . The camera does take excellent photos . I have not suffered any lag issues . Only ever felt slow when it was first set up . Other than that its been great.
