    I bought a Pixel 9 XL from Best Buy and had to return it because it was dropping my calls and Bluetooth connections. Best Buy took to phone back but they opted not to tell me that they wouldn't honor a promo trade in credit that they offered me for my new iphone 14 that I traded in. In gist, they broke down their trade-in credit in two parts: $240 trade-in credit for my iphone plus $300 promo credit. They conveniently leave out the fact that if you return your new puhase for any reason, they will keep your trade-in device and renege on the promo credit. I had to return a defective phone which means that they get to keep my trade-in device for much less than what it is worth. Don't bother trying to call BestBuy or going to the store if this happens to you because they will just act clueless and have you going around in circles. I believe this is very deceptive behavior. Just a word of caution, if BestBuy offer you a promo credit with your trade-in, be sure to not ship that device until you are confident that the new device is working properly. The last email that I got from them about this matter indicated that they will not respond to any more emails from me and that they couldn't help. This is shameful from a company this size.
