Coming from a decade long iphone user I was nervous to switch. It took about 2-3 weeks to get fully comfortable and adjusted. AI features are miles ahead of Apple including their AI image editing built-in. My complaints are actually not related to the phone itself at all, it's actually the apps. Most of the apps I use are programmed for iOS and then repackaged for Android OS compatibility. In short, they do not typically perform as well when they're just a ported build instead of built from the ground up for Android. Again, this isn't a fault of Google or the phone, but the developers of the apps. The only thing I will complain about related to the phone is the Messages suck big time. However, I knew that going in and have been a long-time Telegram/Whatsapp user. But whenever I do need to use messages it's always something I put off because the experience is so meh. Ultimately, I will be switching back to iPhone but only because developers build iOS first and for my workflow I need the superior compatibility. If it wasn't for that, I would have been a long-term Pixel user and upgraded to the next Pixel Fold release.

Good equipment, its camera is quite good, the novelty it has is that it heats up a lot or even more when it is charging

This phone is a vast upgrade from my pixel 7 pro. Super fast, very responsive fingerprint scanner, gorgeous display and the upgraded camera with some very cool AI features!

I traded by S23U for the Pixel 9 Pro XL.I have been using Galaxy phone for about a decade and I really like the change in experience with the Pixels. I like all the AI features and camera features. Performance is better than my 23U in day to day (not considering the raw benchmarks). I am super happy!

It didn't cost a ton. It's not full of bloatware like Samsung phones or LG phones. And it has an amazing camera.

Pixel 9 pro xl on beta android 15. I'm coming from iphone 15 pro max and it looks and feels great. The screen brightness is incredible. Iphone looks like a dull, worn out display when side by side, but the iPhone display still looks 'prettier' in normal lighting. The video boost is incredible. Movie camera quality in low light but it does take many hours to process.

Love this phone and everything about this phone! I'm a big fan of Google though, so I might be biased. It's a fast, easy to use UI, and the Gemini help feature works great!

Easily the best Pixel device to date -- even if you ignore all of the AI features. Hardware is finally up there with the iPhone and Galaxy flagships even if this glow-up looks more like an Apple device -- it feels like it's worth the money you're paying for it. The Hazel color is very nice.

The Pixel 9 Pro XL is a great phone. I get use the native Android OS without all the bloatware found on other Android phones. Built-in Gemini, fluid navigation, and call screening make for a pleasant experience. The camera is top notch too. I've owned every Pixel since Pixel 2 and this one does not disappoint!

This phone is just a great overall package! The battery life and thermals have improved over previous years, but I think they could be improved further. Samsung, iPhone, OnePlus, and Motorola still stomp on pixel phones when it comes to battery life. Also love the hazel color, but I'm hoping for more vibrant/varied colors in future years.

Picked up day 1. Phone has been great so far. Very nice and crisp screen, smooth edges and sides.the camera bump feels bigger than the pixel 8 pro, but unnoticeable with a case. Camera looks amazing and photos are crisp. Some Bluetooth devices are not staying synced but I don't think it's the phones issue.
